"Full Cold Moon"

G-g-g-good M-m-m-morning to All...

The above picture taken from my bedroom window; (which incidentally HAD to be opened to capture the picture)! It is 3 degrees as I write...

But already the sun is risen, and the look of it outside definitely NOT describing the 'feel' of it either... And it IS cold~ That 'bone~shattering' cold that we have all felt at one time or another...

And so, this "Full Cold Moon" has come to its zenith already- The harbinger of winter... (I don't like it already)...

This now, taken from the Calendar of Nativeamericancircle

"During this month the winter cold fastens its grip, & nights are at their longest and darkest. It is also sometimes called the 'Moon before Yule'. The term Long Night Moon is a doubly appropriate name because the midwinter night is indeed long, & because the Moon is above the horizon for a long time."

Still, looking at my own calendar, it is not until the 22nd that "Winter" actually begins...

WHAT!?!?! Now, why do I find that so freakin' funny???

(My toes do not know 'funny'; but sure as they wiggle, they know "COLD").

Besides, I much prefer to think of these 3 measley stupid degrees as 'winter'. Because if I don't, what the heck will "winter" then bring???

And as the sun began to break the horizon, offering no relief from the cold night, I also took this picture-

My cold 2nd driveway in the background as Miss Punk looked up at me, thinking how was I up in that window when I had just let her outside... (I do love to 'cornfoose' my little pup)! hehehe

Oh!! Oops!! Well I see that I have cut her out of this picture. (Sorry about that). Now you'll just have to take my word for it...

I had chance to actually read my horoscope for the week- and it is so funny that I must share with you... Here goes: "

You're like a superhero on Monday and Tuesday. You unzip your everyday clothes to reveal a whole new persona -- maybe not new to you, but new to everyone else. You're a daring person, but you've never had an excuse to step out in quite this way before. Wednesday and Thursday, you're overwhelmed by a sense of double trouble: You want more than one thing simultaneously, or you want to proceed in two opposing directions simultaneously, or perhaps you're simultaneously sad and thrilled about the same thing. It's confusing! Whatever you do on Friday through Sunday, you turn heads." hehehe

YAY! I'm going to be turning heads!!!

...And now for the translation you ask? OK- ...I will be driving into town on snow/ice covered roads, and everybody will have to watch as I drive into the ditch--- in my 'new persona' unzipped clothing!

Howszat?

Having gone back to sleep in the wee hours of the morning here, I find that I am very very late getting a few things done around here, so I must say "Tata for Now"

Have a good one, and do stay warm!

XOXO
Anne

Note to my Canadien "Friends" ...Would you please keep these cold fronts up by you from now on? I would really appreciate that little effort on your part.

And speaking of my Canadien Friends, if any of you ever want to laugh out loud, and forever, please check out Miss Vals page- She is recently moved to North America- Please welcome her in kind!
