The Hole...

   This one's for Gritter!
Casey, at The Pumpkin Festival in Thorp.

Good Morning!
I am still catching up so you'd best grab a cuppa coffee, it's a windy one.

Most of you already know that I fell in a hole.
Wasn't my fault- But I do have the explanation now.

Yesterday afternoon, Kelli and Tim had brought the trailer over- (I'll blame them)! hehehe

Kelli and Tim

While Tim parked the trailer, Kelli and I had wandered over to pick some squash.

Remember these pictures from last Spring?
A little handful of saved seeds, and a little bending...

Seeds ◊◊◊◊◊◊ Me, Planting seeds May 2010

Those few little seeds I'd saved grew into a lot of beautiful squash!

Humungous Squash
Mmmmmm !!!!
The one on the left is your average store-bought Butternut Squash.
The one on the right must have found some growth hormone in that soil.
(Yes, that is a dime, almost lost, between them).

I've been picking a few of those here and there-
Even leaving some for the neighbors, in their driveway hehehe
(And keeping some for me too)!

Back to my little adventure- into the hole...

This was no ordinary hole- But not a cavelike opening into the earth either. It was large enough for a small herd of fattened gophers to enter ALL at the same time- But big enough to sink into, and tight enough to entrap my leg.

I swear on my parents graves that this hole was never there before!

Chimney on the tombstone?
A rough winter ahead? -Or is Pa smoking again?
Sure looks like a chimney up there to me?!?! hehehe

Perhaps the hole is a foxhole?
(I haven't seen any of those beasties since we saw the wolves a few years back).

Not sure, but when the ground(cover), and vines, gave way I sunk clear up to my knee!
Tim had seen the whole thing from the truck- Kelli had been picking squash.

I didn't break anything, but I was injured. (Pride being what it is). hehehe

Punk, nursing a broken heart because Mr. Miller and Miss CocoBeans did not come.

What Happened?
But always vigilant too
She'd heard me squeal; then heard Kelli and I laughing quite loud-
So she was off to check it out...

She didn't even have to dig!

The Hole
Among those wilted, (frozen), squash vines, that dog darn near disappeared too!

She emerged with a dirty face-

Dirty Face-
It's only dirt, thank goodness. Her face did not smell of skunk. Whew. One day I'll spy something that doesn't belong, and let you know what it is that tried to kill me.
Glad I really didn't get hurt-

Kelli also found this quite entertaining-

Tim and I, Bad Backs
Tim and I -almost twins- with our matching little back braces.
The very picture of health, right! (And how to age gracefully)! hehehe

I'd better close for now- Went to Wouters' Front last night and ordered prime rib.
Didn't get any wash done then, so it's time for me to start emptying my hamper.
Supposed to be another beautimous Sun(ny)day, so I'll hang the old quilts on the line.

Wasn't too good for the Minnesota Twinkies yesterday -the Yanks kicked their butts.
(And our 'wunnaful' Badgers beat those Minnesota Gophers too)!

Hopeful that today our Packers can hold on to beat Washington too!
Go Pack!

Cnv0619
What's on YOUR pumpkin?

Game is at noon, so will have lunch for halftime if anyone wants to come watch with me!
Casey will be heading to Marsha's today- A bit of help with her biology course.
Maybe they will come out after that.

Time to start attacking that hamper.
Love to all! Have a 'wunnaful' day!

Damn Doctors.

Mad about the way I was treated this week...
But OH, the things we take for granted-
...Like walking, sitting, reclining without pain.

Remember last week when I didn't want to be taking the f00kin' Oxycodone that my doctor had prescribed?
Well, I did try it. (This, only after trying to NOT take anything except aspirin as I had run out of the vicoden over a week ago).

This oxy crap kept me awake until 5:30 the next morning. (After that point, I had gotten a few hours of sleep).

When I was at the doctor last week, he told me to call him this week and to let him know how I felt.
I called on Wednesday- I told him what had happened. He told me this was not a side effect.

SO? (No, I didn't say that, but I sure as hell wanted to).
For whatever reason all these stupid narcotics have ALWAYS kept me awake instead of knocking me out.
I have always been that way. I do not know why.

He told me to keep taking it. That he wanted me to have some relief.
(WHAT)?
Hmmm If I don't take it, then there is zero relief- Kinda chop logic there Doc- (but no, once again, I did not say a damned word back at him). I think at that point I was so surprised that he wouldn't exchange these meds that it shocked me.

Mad at the end of our short (curt) conversation, I hung up.
(I only wanted to be able to "move" -even walk around- a little WITHOUT fear of falling to my knees- I wasn't trying to move the freakin' earth- Nor did I think I should be pulling teeth just to want to walk a bit)...

I wrote the following at 3AM the next morning...

_____________________________

Good Morning Doctor;

CaseyAnne had left your email address tacked onto the poster board in the back room when she moved out. I hope you don't mind that I am contacting you this way.

1.
I am writing to ask again that I not take the oxycodone drug.

2.
I am wide awake once more in the wee hours of the morning, and worse, my back is killing me. I napped for a while yesterday evening, waking about 11- I have been up ever since...

* Am I tempted to take still another pill, thinking maybe the next one won't keep me wide awake, and that maybe my back might get an hour or two of relief?
Yes, I am very tempted to try again.

* Will I take it? I definitely prefer not to.

I understand that this oxy drug is supposed to be stronger than the vicoden.

I should have done this research last week Friday, but did not.

With my history of epilepsy, the gallbladder disease, and the head injury as a child, I just don't think this is a good drug for me to be on.

When we spoke yesterday, you said that I was getting too much acetaminophen if I took the two hydrocodone at bedtime. (I also would take 2 during the day- for a total of four every day).

Why then would Dr. Jackson have increased my dosage to "1 or 2 tabs every 6 hours as needed" as she did on 7/6/09? (Her dosage was the only way I got any sleep when we had to go back to Minnesota last week).

Your words about too much, and her dosage, truly scared me into doing a bit of research (because I sure as heck don't know about this stuff).

This is what I learned. (Please let me know if this is incorrect).

"It is important to avoid taking more than 4 grams (4000 mg) of acetaminophen per day. (This includes other sources of acetaminophen, including many prescription pain medications and many non-prescription cold and cough remedies)."

The amount either of you gave me, (yourself and Dr. Jackson), vs the amount I took, was well within those guidelines; especially since I do not take anything else that includes acetaminophen.

Additionally, I do not drink, so I believe my liver is in good enough shape to tolerate either prescription dosage.

Again, please let me know if this information is incorrect.

Incidentally, the oxy drugs are the reaction, what gave Casey a seizure while in the hospital, and what had been making her heart rate go to 200+ a year ago in March. (More, that was all designated as "medically insignificant" by Dr. Hujuet (sp) at St Marys)...
Granted, she had been on two different kinds of "oxy" for a few months, but I just don't think that I should be taking that chance.

I have a copy of the initial note that I gave you about my medical history and would include it here, but it is on my old computer. I cannot get that old computer hooked up right now; it weighs a ton and is on the floor in the back room.
I do believe you kept a copy of that in my chart.

Once again I thank you for your time.
Please contact me at 920-639-2001

Sincerely,
Anne DeGrave

Funny. In a very odd sort of way...

After I sent him all of this, I had a prescription in my hands within hours.

Go figure.

Me

PRIVATE- July the dang 2nd...

Hi All;
Am looking for a few answers (and probably a hug or three)...

My back is as bad as it gets.

I am living with a 31 year old who most days looks at me like she is angry with me (still)? . And I made up my mind long ago, not to broach the Trainwreck issue with either of my oldest; so it's not going to happen- Either they come to fix what they began 2 and a half years ago, or they don't. (Kinda simple that way.

Oh Jenne does laugh too- thought I'd better qualify that so you do not misinterpret what follows.
And I do know how depressed she is, barely able to contain herself a lot of the time.
Aaron swears he has changed, and has bought an airline ticket to fly in on the 6th to Milwaukee. He told her that she would be going home with him and that he would be driving.
Of course she wants to be with her husband. That's the way it should be anyway.
Is it healthy? Absolutely not.

Have I said anything that could be misconstrued as advice? Ditto. She has not asked, and I have not offered.

She is at a counseling session right now- She said she needs to be hospitalized, but will wait and see what they advise.

Some damn mother I am.
Some damn birthday.

I can't even bend to get stuff off the floor, nor can I lug out the fricking vacuum. I can't stand my house.
Oh wait, I can't stand.
(Barely anyway).

And I saw an effing flea yesterday! How gross is that?
I can't fumigate with Isaiah anywhere near. He has that disease.
And it's probably not recommended for Jenne and a high risk pregnancy either.

Granted I only saw one-
But isn't that a lot like seeing one mouse? Only worse?

My effing tub doesn't drain, and most days I cannot bail the water out- Those days Jenne just doesn't get in the shower.

And I want to kick her in the ass for being so discompassionate to my back and my inability right now.

I barely get the wash done- Difficult to even get the wash out of the washer and into the dryer, but now she will do a load, and leave it and not say anything.
God I love having to redo wash. Not.

I am so much in pain that nothing is easy. But I make dinner, even though I have told her to get something out of the freezer in the mornings... Made some tater tot casserole last night, and it took me 3 times of having to sit and then go back to it.

Pissed and in pain is no way to go through life.

Casey comes out and helps where she can. But she is sick too. And how unfair to even expect that when she can barely keep up at her place.

She (KC) finally called a realtor yesterday to find out about the availability of duplexes on the reservation- God knows I am not selling my home just to get my st00pid effing back fixed.
And they are taking way too much time in Washington to get that medical bill passed.

I just want to cry... But won't start with that either.
One kid on the pity pot 24/7 is more than enough for me.

And Punk only hides when she cries. (Jenne that is)... Poor little pup.

What have I done?

...And how do I fooking fix it?

Thank you for any ideas you might have...

XOXO
Anne

PS
Then this morning, as I thought to do a blog, this comes on my page on Yahoo.
Guess you all have enough brain to figure out what is going on from the note...
(Oh, their daughter Cassie had a kidney transplant 2 weeks ago, and is battling with rejection issues at University of Wisconsin, Madison)

This is the note I wrote to Casey and Krisitn, (Master Gabriels Foster Mom)...

To: Kristin; Casey Gmail
Subject: Gabriels Mom- CONFLICT of INTEREST?

Something stinky Dearest Kristin,
But first of all to say I hope that Miss Cassie is doing well, and 'maybe' even home by now? Please give her (and yourself) a hug from me. Prayers always as you already know...

Oh and to let you know that I don't reply to your text msgs because they cost me for each one- Please do not feel offended by my "Scrooginess"...

Now the bad news...
I received 3 notifications on my page about Berta
This is her current address to the best of my knowledge.

(Above address is actually in the town of Wrightstown ).
Kind of a pricey home too from what I found online...

She apparently lives with a Susan Brickham, 52, (divorced from Bruce LaCombe in 1998),
Bruce has a record at the state that includes a child abuse restraining order, but I cannot get those case details.
He was brought to court by a Mary Cornell on those charges.

ANYWAY, ALL of Bertas charges pending with the state have been freakin' dismissed!
What in the hell is that all about???
('Scuse the cussing please, I am very angry). Know that if it was you or I, we would be serving time by now.

ALL of Roberta's fines are also mysteriously paid in full.

I also believe since there seems to be no court officials listed on this database that there could be a definite conflict of interest since this Susan Brickham works for the county!
She is a clerk in data control for HS!!!!

Here is what I found...

Brown County employees.

Name Last BRICKHAM
Name First SUSAN
Job Title CLERK IV / DATA CONTROL
Total Earnings $33,195.32
Department HS-FINANCIAL SERVICES
Year 2008

Hope that posts for you...

Please let me know what you think...

Love to all!
(And maybe an extra "Grandma Kiss" for Master Gabriel)!?

XOXO
Me

I don't know if contacting Rachel would be a good/bad thing- Hard (difficult if not impossible) for a newer worker to be investigating someone who has been around for a time...
I wish I knew exactly what to do- Am hoping that maybe you or your hubby would know...

Her reply...

">Well here is our thinking ,

First off it does seem a little suspicious BUT she has not contacted BCHS & done any of her court orderd conditions in the Chips( are those erased also?)
So not sure if any of this has a bearing on the TPR?

I talked to Gabe’s GAL on Tuesday & he doesn’t expect her to show up in court (just like last time).

I would assume if she was working to reunify he would know (depends how much faith you have in system)
We have been given the gift of loving Gabe so far for 10 months and will continue to carry on as long as is necessary

She has been told what she needs to do & so that part confuses me as far as if this friend is so system savvy why is she not advising her to fight .

Maybe she has given up?

She still has a 30 day window after decision to contest .

Because my mind obsesses with all the possibilities I try to focus on the facts & not the unknown (I never pick the right scenario anyway )

Let me know

thanks Kristin

Sighs of Gratitude.

  magnify
Home.
From back by the woods.
Picture taken 5/14/09 when Casey and I drove back there.
.
.
Good Morning All;
Waking up today is my first sigh of gratitude. hehehe
I think I have a little bitty blood clot in my right leg, in the calf. Mom would get these too, they would go away on their own. Never the less, when I'd noticed the size difference, I did take 2 aspirin before I went to bed.

I suspect many of you will be off and celebrating in various ways this weekend. Please take care, and be safe always. (For the rest of us with no immediate plans to go anywhere, we'll just have a little bit of fun on here)!

When I went outside yesterday morning, I saw this little girl back by the woods by the six acres. I apologize for it being out of focus- I just couldn't get it right.
.
.
.
521 Deer
I had hoped that maybe a fawn or two might have followed but no such luck.
.
.
I might have done a few things that made me cuss (and sigh) a few times yesterday.

First came scrubbing my tub...
While I can handle a bit of rust and mag build up, there comes a time that this all bothers me too... So I sprayed it out and tried to scrub it.
Fearing quickly that I would be found dead, fully clothed and with my face in my wet tub, I decided to do it the lazy ladys way.
I swished it with toilet bowl cleaner.
It is clean and sanitary now. Just a few specks of rust leftover. No big deal that. And yes, it works beautifully in a pinch!
BUT... Know too, that I have an old cast iron tub- Not sure you can use that stuff on the new tubs- (I wouldn't try it).
Oh yeah, I scrubbed the toilet too. hehehe

I still have to replace the caulking in the bathroom. It isn't leaking or anything, only dirty looking.
That will keep for a time yet.
I know, "Put up and shut up. Anne."

I tried my hand at mowing the lawn. First to inflate the front tire that always loses air pressure if I am not on it every (other) day or so. I was very happy that I had bought that air compressor a few months back. Still, I had to get down on all fours to do this too. But it got done, so the end justifies the means. It also justifies the cuss~words (and the final sigh of gratitude that I didn't die doing this either).

Then to fill the gas tank.
Thinking (positively) ahead
last weekend, I had sent Casey and Jenny Mella to the gas station to fill the 5~gallon gas jug. Too bad I didn't have them fill the tank on the rider as well. But hey, I got that done too!
Stand still, take a deep breath, bend, lift, and pour. (I didn't know I could hold my breath that long either).
I was impressed.
(Probably quite blue in the face, but impressed none~the~less).

Know too that all the while, Punk did not leave my side. Sweet sweet dog...

I still had to crawl onto the rider. yikes.
Picture that if you will...
(Nah, don't). hehehe

Darn fine thing I don't weigh more than I do because I believe I would have yanked the steering wheel off the darn machine as I held my breath and threw myself over the seat.
Pushing the "st00pid" clutch in was a nasty experience in and of itself. (Yeah, I'd held my breath again)...
Exhale. Just to be able to throw in another sigh of gratitude as that little motor quickly came to life.
Not so for the blades as I flipped the switch for them. They squeaked and whined before they engaged. Having had traumatic experiences in the past of needing to change out the bearings for a mower deck and losing DNA doing so, I thought I had better grease it up good.
I saw my cousin scooting back by the woods, taking the grandkids for rides on their 4~wheeler... And drove up to their place knowing there is no way I can get my shed door up right now to even get to my grease gun.
Wimp that I am, he even greased the deck for me. Thank you Jim.

By this time, the clouds had begun rolling in, just no rain yet. I mowed what my back would allow.

It rained almost all afternoon- Just enough, on and off, to get everything watered, and wet. But we need it so I won't complain.
.
.
521 Needs mowing

Yes, I already know that my lawn looks very sh*tty.
Know that I will never again wonder why some peoples lawns look like this either.
.
.

Know that I took these pictures as dusk was coming on full force.
I shall try to do a bit more mowing today, as I really suffered less than I'd expected later in the day.

Crazy from being so grounded of late, Punk and I decided to take a walk. To the woods.
I MADE IT! (Again I remain impressed by that success as well).
My own priorities being what they are I didn't care if I died out there! hehehe

Punk took her little squeak ball. ...I took Casey's cane.

We got way back by the woods before we heard this thundering through the woods- As it was getting quite dark at that point, it was hard to see what was making those noises.
  • Something running. (And fast).
  • Twigs breaking.
  • Sticks crunching.
Growling and pointing, and with saintly patience, Punk wanted to 'get it' -yet she remained by me.

I do not know what made those noises. Maybe it was a turkey, (and maybe I am glad I don't know). But we headed back home.
.
.
521 Sunset
.
.
We stopped by the east side of the garden.
.
.
521 Lilacs from Kelli

The lilacs pilfered from Kelli's last year are beginning to bloom!

And smell SO wonderful!

.
.
I could have been blind as we rounded the NW corner of the house, and I would have known exactly where I was.
See, even more pleasing to my little nose is the scent of the orange blossoms- Also just now beginning to open.
.
.
521 orange blossoms

Wish I could hold my breath, and hold that scent forever!
.
.
.
.

.
Casey's tulips still trying to look impressive, and covered yet by the raindrops that had fallen.
.
.

521 tulips
.
.
.
.
.
And then to see that I had dug up one of the chive plants for transplanting, and not finished cleaning out that spot.
.
.
521 chive corner
Part of that plant was transplanted
over to Casey and Greg's a few weeks ago already.

.
.
.
So that was my Thursday- I have much catching up to do on your own blogs, and will try to do so after I get out and walk a bit more.

Love to all.
Be safe this weekend. And do include a few sighs of gratitude of your own for our military, past and present.

XOXO
Me

Couple of Short Updates

514 Bug
hehehe
Casey took this picture!

.
.
Good Evening;
First of all, an update on the fatal fire.
The Oconto County coroner does not have a cause of death for the gal that died in the house fire on Jaworski Road.
WBAY~TV said they are awaiting for the "test results", which should be available in about 10 days.
I cannot watch the videos, (dial~up here), but I think this would be the latest about her.

***ALSO, tomorrow is the village sale...
Pulaski's village-wide rummage sale is a draw for bargain hunters, but Kari Splan sees the annual event as an opportunity to help four young children who lost everything, including their mother, in a house fire. CLICK HERE. Cool!

This is all so sickening, and overwhelming. But I am ever so proud of everyone that has turned out to help.

As for my back...
Yes, I did go for my doctor appointment; and no, I did not refuse the xrays.
(I think I should have). hehehe I firmly believe that radiologist tried to kill me. But at least he had a sense of humor. First thing he says is "please lay on your back." Funny guy. (Too bad he wasn't kidding).

After 5 different angles, he said I could get up from the table. (See? I told you he was funny).

Yes I still have the arthritis in my back. I also have the trauma fracture from last Spring that did not heal correctly, AND I seem to have wrecked 4 disks. Instead of being rounded and soft, they are thin and not working right.

The doctor told me to stay off my feet for 3 days, and then to "see how it goes" after that. I will need to return if it doesn't let up.
That is all I know for now. Oh that- and it hurts.

Wait.
I also know my haddock is done baking! Mmm My tummy knows it too. hehehe
Time for me to get off my backside too- Perhaps even to nap after I eat.

Have a "wunnaful" weekend.
Please send a couple of lawn guys, (and a gardener too).

XOXO
Me

10 Little Thoughts

Good Evening Everyone;
I am late today-
Later still at getting to your own blogs.
My apologies for that, please don't drop me... yet.

Since it is Tuesday (still), I shall share ten thoughts with you.

1. We got a bit of rain today. (Say "YAY"). But not even enough to remove the two splattered bug guts from my windshield.

2. You don't find me tooling around for no reason.
The reason I was on the road was for a doctor appointment. I have an ear infection. This sucks. I thought 'kids' got ear infections, and that I should have long ago outgrown such a thing. (Mama would put some blue bottle of hot ear drops in my ears; then make me swallow a penicillin pill as she shoved cotton batting in my ears to keep the breezes out).

3. Ear infections are NO fun at all. (Nor is having drops in my ear, corked off with a cotton ball). SO reminiscent of my childhood days. (Tipping my head from side to side, or front to back, makes the oddest sounds. From within).

4. A different doctor today. She came in, asked if I was Anne, and asked what the problem was. Not a handshake or even a milkshake. (She looked in my ear, wrote the script and I was out of there in less than 2 minutes).

5. The pharmacy wait took much longer.
MUCH MUCH longer. And all for this itsy bitsy, teeny weeny bottle of drops. (Drops that when put in the ear sound much like a grenade going off at close range, or a 30-0-06)...

6. My sinuses and head and ear make me feel as though someone stuck a balloon in my ear, and then inflated it. I hear things from the inside. (Enough to psych me out as I listen to my heartbeat from the inside). Weird.

7. Punk is all better- Having had her to the vet on Friday, she has finally began to be a pain in the butt again. (I rather like her like this).

8. When the vet says he doesn't need a stool sample, remember to remove it from the car. Do not let it remain there- (After 4 days, it stinks up the whole car, no matter HOW plugged up ones nose is).

9. The loss of hearing made me miss the dryer as it shut off. I went in wrinkled clothes. (Gratefully my jeans are tight now that I gained 3 pounds. The fat gives the appearance of smooth anyway).

10. The loss of hearing also left me listening to the CD in my car as if it was only on AM radio. This AM radio effect also took me back to my younger days.
It was Delbert McClinton, "Room to Breathe"-

The above album title has, belatedly, struck me as downright hilarious.
Kinda like our old AM radios were...

Love to all. Please bring soup.

XOXO
Anne

Sledge Hammers and Band-Aids

Not sure, but I don't think a band-aid will help...

.

.

Good Morning All;

I am terribly late here; having been up half the night with my stupid foot... It does feel like someone has hit it with a sledgehammer, or dropped anchor on it. Either way I am quite 'grounded' to say the very least...
...AND I HAVEN'T BEEN GROUNDED SINCE I WAS 17!!!
(Someday I might tell you 'what for')...

I recently asked Miss Marie for her foot immobilizer, but remember now that she has these itty~bitty feet. (She had come to visit CaseyAnne at Froedtert and I remember telling her how little her feet were). She has recently had surgery and had to wear "the boot" that I am now coveting.

Me? ...with a size 10, I have feet sized only for yetis and mukluks.

I have been doing a ton of reading and researching on here. I have learned much about my foot...

.

.

I am guessing that since it is my 2nd metatarsil that is hurting so badly that this picture, (stolen from here), is as close to what is going on with my own foot.
Except mine is the left foot...
(Look at this picture in a mirror should that fact bother you at all)!
hehehe

.

.

I found a whole bunch of websites that were a bit tough to get through. (All that medical dialogue I can basically understand; but it slows down my slow reading)...

In short, (and on an 8~year~old level)...
...Stress fractures are quite common in the foot. A stress fracture simply implies that the load applied to the foot was greater than what the bone could tolerate, so it breaks. hehehe I am thinking it is time for me to lose some weight... ya think?

And this, from that same website... "X-rays are necessary but aren't always so helpful with metatarsal stress fractures. In most cases, metatarsal stress fractures can only be seen on x-ray three to four weeks after they occur. X-ray findings of stress fractures are very subtle. We don't actually see the fracture, but we see the deposition of calcium surrounding the fracture as the bone heals.

Most stress fractures of the foot will heal over time with just a little help. How long? Patients are usually surprised to find out that stress fractures take 8-12 weeks to heal."

WHAT?!?! ...
(I am MORE than upset, saddened, by that statement).
The dogs are already upset that we haven't been going to the woods every day.

And yet, I really DO have good news too... Having fallen to sleep at one point, I was awakened by a very loud noise. ...Good grief, and now what the heck??? And then remembered that I had set the trap just in case that little varmint had somehow lived through his 2nd Degree Sputty~Assault... (See yesterdays blog)... Apparently he did live through it. But he didn't live through the trap! (Say "YAY")? hehehe

Have a great Thursday!

XOXO

Berta's Toe; and Gabriels Face...

Good Morning All;

The above photo being one I took yesterday of Robertas foot! (And the underside looks even "prettier")! Ooooh... Those little piggies surely got squished and smushed...

But she does get into her shoes too! (Which, actually wasn't even necessary yesterday)... Record HIGHS all around the state! And we have already broken the high for today... Think it was 51 earlier! Thank God and Mother Nature!!! It was fabulous to run outside barefoot for even a few minutes!

No walk yesterday, but just played 'catch' with the dogs for a long time. It is SO nice not to get chilly as we were out there too.

CaseyAnne stopped out after hew new J.O.B. as "Stuffy~Person" yesterday afternoon. (Click on her name to visit her profile)...

(guess you have to go read her blog)...
.
.

She was going to do the grocery shopping for me too. (And forgot the list here)... It is always great to have her around too... even IF she had way too much fun on the computer while she was here. I don't think I have laughed THAT much in a long time; suffice it to say that I am anxiously awaiting her next blog entry!!! hehehe

.
.

Roberta and Master Gabriel here too! And she sang as she played with him!

How he LOVES his mama!
.
.

Later, he decided to take on the unforgiving wooden shelf with his face. He lost; squealing and crying and screaming... Completely inconsolable! Even the frozen green beans offered little comfort...

as Berta tried not to cry right along with him...
.
.

So much in pain... (Well, until the Oreo came out of the cupboard)!

Grandma knows how to fix these owies...
.
.

We laughed though, when the Oreo was gone he promptly went and gathered his hat and his coat. Clearly telling Mama it was time to go!

Punkie cannot stand to hear any of these babies cry.. neither can I...

'Hiding' in the entrance and just listening...
.
.

And that, my Dear Friends, was the silly extent of my 'yesterday' ...

XOXO

You Are 56% Pure

You're usually the typical girl or guy next door...

But you also have a secret naughty side!

hehehe

Only 56% PURE??? What the heck is THAT all about???

Did You Know??? (OUCH)!

OUCH!!!!
magnify

Did you know that if you are outside working... Busting your backside, and trying to throw a few seeds in the ground before it rains... Needing more than just a shovel and a hoe; you reach out and grab a rake...

Now consider this... if that same rake has a friggin' bee sitting on the handle, and you happen to grab it right on the part with the bee, that the darned impatient thing will actually have the balls to sting you right in the middle of your palm?

Basty nastard... I am still mad, (but am deriving a curious pleasure from the fact that once a bee stings he gets to die)!
