[My] Life in Wisconsin

Trainwreck News... kinda...

Good Evening...

While my taters are cooking themselves I just want to clue y'all in on the latest stuff.

God, I have been such a bitch lately that I don't even like myself.
It helped immensely that Richard went back to Waukesha too. (I wanted him to be gone)... How bad is that???
He helped a lot around here, and yet too much was going on for me to even be nice half the time.
Funny that I believe he had his chance years ago, and blew it.
He has left me high and dry twice in his lifetime.
I believe I think about those times too much.

Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice, shame on me.
What comes after "twice" anyway?

Yes, I do love him.
But I am definitely not IN love with him.
And yes, that DOES make sense.

I received an email from Jenne yesterday- Have not spoken to, nor heard from her since they had come to visit 2 weeks ago.

Here it is:

J: How goes it?

~~~~~~~
fine. How goes it with you?
~~~~~~~

J: broken

~~~~~~~
why?
~~~~~~~

J: long story short, I'm getting divorced. I've been married for less than 2 years. I've failed.

~~~~~~~
That's too short. Yup WAY too short.
I want the long version please.
Why are you getting divorced?
Where's the 'we can work it out' ethic involved with a marriage?
What does Aaron say?
wtf?
Why aren't you at work?
Too hot for ya?
Where is Isaiah?
Almost everything can be worked out you know.
(Save for beating and cheating).
And there are those that 'claim' cheating makes their marriage better. That gives me a bad taste ya know...
So... maybe if you quit beating on him he will stop cheating on you?
XOXO
Me
~~~~~~~

I am at work
Just a lull.
We've tried to work it out. (counseling and sh*t) the counselor said she couldn't help us.
He's cheated on me twice. I wish I'd beaten him.
Aaron says he loves me and Isaiah; an he's a "changed man".
too friggin hot here.
Isaiah is at daycare
Love you too.
-J

~~~~~~~ END...
She has called me today too.
I had to cut the above IM short because Casey had a doctor appointment yesterday afternoon.
(All is well).
I asked her had she told z that she had come out to visit while she was in town.
She replied no, that she didn't want to hurt her.
Ummm... WHAT?!??
No, I didn't say that aloud.
But anyway, since I do not beat around the bush, (after hearing almost everything that Aaron had done wrong since before Day One of their marriage), I asked her if she had also cheated.
The answer,
...after a very long pause,
...'yes.'
In the conversation she wanted to come home, (ie: Green Bay).
Then later, she wanted to make her marriage work.
We have not yet broached our own continental divide.
Think she needed someone to talk to first.
But she did ask me if I wanted to be her mom again.
(I told her I had always been her mom).
She also told me that her 'sire' had tried to kill himself a couple of weeks ago.
He missed.
(And I know how cliche that is, but she swears it's true).
I told her if he wanted to be dead that he would be.
I also told her that he was the very 1st person I had ever taunted too.
When I told him I was leaving with the girls, and filing for divorce he had told me he would kill himself.
I told him, "Go ahead. If you don't give a damn about your life then neither do I."
Not sure if 'taunted' is the correct word for it, (but he is still alive).
In truth I also told her that his own demons are catching up to him.
Finally.
She said she realizes that all.
And yes, she knows about all of his lies.
(Not too sure if this is the right time to be forwarding the police reports)?
No.
For that is what TTII will receive upon my death.
Cold?
You betcha.
Was I cold to her?
No.
Not 2 weeks ago, and not today either.
But I will not/cannot condone any of the bad stuff either.
NOR will I permit her to come back home and live with me.
Gods sakes almighty, Casey is moving out on the 23rd; why would I want to have anyone else move in???
Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice, shame on me.
Yet it is very hard to overlook anything too.
These two children have hurt me so very deeply-
Kind of a forever 'hurt' too.
And they both know better.
They were both raised better, and lived better, than that, too.
I wonder what will happen next?
Hmm...
Any words to the unwise here?
I added a few pics, from when Miss Valerie was here the other night, in my 'PRIVATE' album.
(God bless Katie and Sam for allowing her to see me).
Love to you all, and thank you for allowing me to unload.
Hopefully the 'privacy options' on here actually work.
I'm just so effin' damned confused when I wonder what's next?
My apologies
XOXO
Anne
Japanese woman caught living in man's closet...
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080530/ap_on_re_as/japan_closet_woman
HAHAHA!
Maybe this chick could move in with Berta's roomie...
Never A Good Thing, Part TWO...
 magnify
Taken on our way home from the hospital Monday evening.
.
.
Good Morning Everyone;
First of all, if you have no Faith in God (or whatever you call your higher deity), you need to read NO further.
Don't even TRY to tell me that there is no God watching and keeping us all safe.
I have already spent too much time already this morning- reading, (waiting for pages), reading, (waiting some more)...
And trying to keep my blood pressure down...
I wish I could keep this shorter for today, but I do not think this will be the case as I am madder than a wet hen that spits nails right about now...
Or shall I say "STILL" madder than...
As you read in my last post, Gabriel had taken grandfathers Glipizide pills.
After Gabie~Babys blood sugar had dropped to 50 that same night, he had been released from the hospital on Tuesday, about noon.
And MUCH better.
Thank You to the Suamico paramedics and first responders who came so very quickly to help him out (and to calm our fears).
After this latest fiasco, I told Berta no more babysitting...
(This pistol child really scares me)!
hehehe
She called Tuesday night-
Would I babysit on Friday?
But of course!
hehehe
Berta has been working a ton of hours for low pay and scant tips. But her roommate is home 24/7 and would babysit.
(Roomie, "Jessica", got fired from her job 2 months ago, and refuses to go look for another).
?
Not sure what's up with that...
(Mostly though, Jessica should NOT be my problem either).
Roberta lives almost next door to where she works, AND an added bonus being that she is so very close to home if anything happens.
.
.
So yesterday, while she worked, I sorted through my little rocks...
.
Cnv0199
Not sure what THIS one is, but sure is pretty!
Any geologists out there?
.
.
.
I had NO problem knowing what was on this one though.
.
Cnv0198
(Is that gross or what)??? Egg sack too?
UGH!
So it was time to call in a delegate.
(Cuz I sure as hell wasn't going to be digging in that pile anymore).
.
.
Rick had been replacing the doorstep in the back entrance
and helped me get those rocks moved.
While I continued on my idle way, the phone rings.
It is Roberta, calling from work.
(From the sound of her voice I thought she was very, very ill).
Turns out I was wrong.
She wanted me to go pick Gabriel up.
Something bad had happened...
Long story short, (the gospel according to Jessica), is that she (Jessica) had been doing dishes, and heard the front door open.
AND DIDN'T EVEN TURN AROUND TO SEE GABRIEL LEAVE!
wtf?
By the time she even noticed he was gone, he had traveled half a block down Mason Street, (Highway 54), to the corner of Fisk and Mason-
This is an extremely busy intersection mind you...
A police officer got to him, snatching him out of traffic.
In the meantime, Jessica had gone downstairs to ask a neighbor what she should do.
How about call the police?
duh
How about even look for him?
Also in the meantime, Casey's ex happened by...
(They own the apartment complex that Berta lives in).
Recognizing our Master Gabriel, he told the police officer where he belonged.
The police officer gets to Jessica and says, "Let me get this straight... You are alone with a 2 year old. You hear the door open, and don't even bother to look?"
Not sure what will happen there today.
I made record time going to pick this little guy up yesterday...
And boy was he worn out!
Since I feel terribly insignificant with this child, I moved his little swing to where I was working outside.
Like the hospital crib, he was quite secure in it with the lap belt fastened.
.
.
.
.
I am a firm believer that when a child is tired he should sleep too.
.
.
.
.
Taking the Harry Potter blanket off the line, I left him right there!
(Much easier to keep an eye on him this way)... .
.
He awoke in time to say goodbye to Grandpa.
.
.And then even had time to work/play a bit more before supper.
.
Shoveling is "man's work" ya know...
.
.
Supper was another course of action that must have bored him silly.
.
.
.
.
No, I didn't leave him sleep there-
(But I did keep him downstairs)...
Roberta came to pick him up about 8:30...
Still very shaken, and very angry too. But ever so grateful that Derek had been there to know Gabriel, AND for him to hear Jessica's version of what she had told the cop...
Hopefully this roommate can be off her lease in short order.
(Non~medical police calls/visits violate the lease).
And of course she was not even home when Roberta got there.
But she did have the idiotic thought to go to Berta's work and ask her if she was mad.
wth??
(As it occurs to me that she has never seen Berta quite so angry).
Berta is off today, and works tomorrow 'til close.
I will have The Master here.
Am thinking maybe I should go buy a leash for him and connect him to me then...
Damn, hey?
Love to all.
Hope YOUR blood pressure is better than ours...
XOXO
Anne
Never A Good Thing... Part One
Never a Good Thing
Look! Company...
(damn, eh)?
.
.
Good Morning All...
And so, it was a very busy, (and even a somewhat productive), weekend.
We had an indoor picnic, as it had threatened to rain on Sunday. (Berta had to work on Monday so we had our 'food' a day early). We sat outside for a while before eating.
.
.
.
.
Everybody was busy doing something...
Master Gabriel even got busy helping to dig a few weeds...
.
.
Helping Randy do something...
Both with their own shovels too!!!
.
.
The window is finally fixed on my car.
Hopefully it will remain in the 'up' position, (and WHEN I wish it to be up)... hehehe
My old Simplicity tractor has seen more loving attention than it has in years... (Thank you Sweet Pea).
(Pea emailed me the complete owners manual)!
Rick has literally spent hours/days working on the darned thing.
It is still not running correctly; shutting itself off after running for a few moments-
We, (more specifically Greg and Rick, hehehe), are currently in search of a condenser for it.
So far, 'the problem' has been 'narrowed down' about 5 times?
Oh well... (It didn't help that 'parts departments' were closed either).
So when Greg K called yesterday, I asked if he could possibly till my garden one more time so I could plant. He was coming over to cut by the woods anyway...
He pulled in moments later with a tiller~
... AND a brand spanking new John Deere tractor/mower.
He asked if I would care to mow while he tilled...
hehehe "But of course!"
Besides, Master Gabriel was napping. (Casey, her Greg, and I were just relaxing too).
Oh what a treat to use that machine!
While mowing back by the woods, Casey's Greg came running back by me.
(My first thought... "Uh~Oh, Greg doesn't 'run'")...
I drove toward him...
Meeting him halfway, he was ready to pass out...
Inbetween deep gasping breaths he told me that Gabriel had gotten into Ricks medications.
First. Relax.
Then find out what is missing-
He turned to run back to the house, and I stepped on the gas, jumping off the new tractor as I got to the yard- (Not even knowing how to shut it down)...
I got to the house, dialing 911 as soon as I was inside.
By that time, Rick had taken inventory.
Gabriel had chewed up Rick's Glipizide, and was sitting in a chair yakking up a storm...
(Adding to my horror was the fact that he had also gotten into Casey's mascara, and looked a terrible mess).
911 patched me through to Children's Hospital in Milwaukee
(YARGHHH! next to Froedtert)-
It is the closest poison control center.
Listening to my story, she said it would cause Gabriel to be hypoglycemic... (No kidding).
She suggested to get him to the hospital and told me they would keep him for observation.
We hung up.
I then called Roberta, who had gotten done working just an hour before.
I had her to say hi to Gabriel. He began chattering and then handed the phone back to me.
Calmly I told her he was OK, (and reminded her that she had just heard his voice and all).
...Telling her not to panic, but that I had called the Rescue Squad.
Immediately, as if on a damned cue, came those sirens... LOUD...
I filled Mama in quickly; Greg and Rick said they would pick her up...
.
.
Getting strapped in...
Yes, I'd cleaned his 'mascara' off...
.
.
Casey rode with Gabriel in the squad to St. Marys.
And they were off.
Turning, I see Greg K. in the backyard; just calmly watching the entire scene unfold...
Smiling now.
He asks...
"So, is this just another day in The Life of Anne?"
And finally, I could laugh...
I took a shower and drove in to the hospital-
Getting there, our little guy is completely covered in black all over again...
WTH?
~ I really had washed that makeup off?!?!?!?!!!
.
.
.
.
This new 'black' was from the charcoal that they had to force~feed him.
It had taken the better part of half a dozen doctors/nurses, plus family, to hold him still to get the IV in, to check his blood sugar, and then to get the charcoal down. (Glad I missed it all)! hehehe
Grandma's prerogative/luck...
This too was washed off quickly...
.
.
And he was quickly looking like our Master Gabriel once more,
just tired...
(Which he wouldn't have been had he taken that nap)...
.
.
Gabriel and his Mama!
.
.
And then back to bed...
.
.
Hmm...
Looks pretty darned tempting to me.
Does anyone know where I can buy one of these beds?
hehehe
.
.
He should be fine- His blood sugar did dip to the low 70's, and was back up into the 80's by the time I left to come home.
St. Marys said they would keep him for 36 hours for observation.
I am thinking that if he did as well during the night that he will be released today... Berta hasn't called yet this morning.
Lucky if she slept for even a few hours all night long...
So today it's back to the boring Life of Anne...
sigh
Hmm... So how was YOUR weekend?
Love to all.
XOXO
Anne
*****  3:20 pm now
Roberta called after I had posted this.
She told me that Gabriels blood sugar had dropped to 50 during the night; and he was immediately given a bolus to bring it right back up.
It did.
At 10 this morning his blood sugar was once again over 90.
They were home by 1 this afternoon.
Needless to say she has rearranged her whole apartment already...
Sean Klein; "Crazy Hot"
(thank you Connie)
.
.
Good Morning Everyone;
I have a few moments to share a few words from my godson, Sean. As he is currently serving in Iraq.
He has sent a few pictures and words for us too.
.
From Sean:
"I just want to let you know those orange pictures are the sandstorm during the day. Thats like when its goin' hard. I was amazed when I saw it.
The one with me standing there is when its dying down.
I actually walked through it. Sand stings when its blowing around that fast. And yeah you can use my pictures, I dont mind at all.
I'm gonna take some pictures from around where I am right now one of these days.
This place isnt that special.
I'll take a ride on one of the buses and get over to where the airfield is and take some pix of the unmanned aircraft. Those are the planes they use for recon.
Hot doesnt even describe how warm it was here yesterday.
It was 125 with the heat index. Crazy hot.
Take care.
Tell the family I said hello.
I'll be stopping in when i come home in november.
Miss ya guys."
Thank you Sean!
This, also from Sean:
Yesterdays little project...
Casey's strawberries all together!
(In a very old leaky copper pot)!
OK. (Deep breath)...
Good Morning All;
I have NEWS!!!
No, nothing that has fixed Casey- But that has surely brightened her spirits.
#1.  She is now Administrative Assistant for Oneida.
She has her own office etc... They say it's s temp position, but the lady that is off might not be coming back...
Casey said for that kind of $ she will work through death itself.
hehehe
#2. Casey and Greg will be moving into their new apartment at some point in the next month. These apartments do NOT hold any medical credit against anyone. Say YAY!
I am SO proud of her!!!  And I have been bursting with this all week.
Sound surprised if/when she finally posts about it all.
Love to you all!
Miss Milly Says "HI"
Good Afternoon All;
...
Casey needed the car this morning for 7am. My window is still stuck down, so I used hers to run to the grocery store early.
My panic attacks have been really raunchy lately, and so I took my pill to go to town...
Taking a Xanax always leaves me SO tired, so when I got back I fell asleep, and really messed up my day...
Have only been outside for a couple of hours now, so there is much yet to do.
Will keep this short, but just HAD to share what I found in my email from Miss Kelli... for ALL of my friends
Enjoy!!!!
XOXO
Me
There are over 9,675,000,000 people in this world
Ten Thought Tuesday...
Ten Thought Tuesday... 05-20-2008
Ten Thought Tuesday... magnify
stolen from an email, but OH SO TRUE!
Love and Peace...
.
.
Good Morning Everyone;
As you all know, when pressed for thoughts I seem to come up empty~brained. hehehe
But I do believe that I have ample thoughts today;
AND lucky you, it just happens to be Tuesday...
So here goes...
1.
I am happy that Casey and I went to the back forty yesterday... Every one of these fence posts were dug by my dad- (And back when you could still get a decent fence~post)...
.
.
Casey, and the far SW corner of the back forty-
And just having to touch a part of her history
A part of her family that she never had a chance to meet...
.
.
2.
I realize I never posted answers to JT's questions on my blog about Casey on the news.
He writes:
"Hey sweetie the comment " we don't want that type " makes it a CIVIL RIGHTS VIOLATION.
Just the THREAT of that type SUIT will scare the shit out of them but you must be willing to follow through . On that comment alone I think any good lawyer would jump on it . Now if you can get me the email address of the school and the rental company I will tell them just how LOW they are. Also get the email address of the jobs who fired her for being sick they will also catch hell from me > Anyone who has "no comment" is caught up in their own "wrong-doing"
Nor does Mr. Miller, (Kelli's dog)-
They ALL ignore me.
4.
And that's kinda like my kids.
Most specifically TTII.
We have been informed that j is in town with her family for the week.
No, I do not expect a visit nor a phone call.
Hehehe (Boy was I wrong about that)!
5.
I have been reminded WHY I do not like going to the back forty...
Having just yanked a tick off my neck... ouch! I must be yummy enough!!!
hehehe
Yes, I have already been treated for Lyme Disease,
~ and I don't think you can get it back (that is, if it ever goes away)...
?
Hmmm... ???
6.
CaseyAnne is MUCH braver than I am.
Case in point, I spotted a 'hole' in the ground in the woods. Either a badger or a fox...
Casey wanted to see it for herself.
(Notice the *ahem* cowardly photographer stood WAY back).
.
.
"Oh COOL, Mom!"
.
.
"ANYBODY HOME?!?!?!"
.
.
7.
Not so cool is the virus that has infected my goddaughters computer.
Even though it is called "coolwebsearch"
Nope. Not cool at all.
Greg spent upwards of five hours working to restore her computer on Sunday Night.
And it's a good thing he loves a challenge!
(A darn good thing that this is what his degree is in too)!
*** On a scale of 1~10, this virus is a 10.
8.
Kara called the other night. She is 'mama' to one of Punks sisters, Lily. She works at Mayo Clinic and has a friend that was just diagnosed with Celiac Disease. She asked if Casey had ever had a biopsy of her small intestines at any point during any of her ERCP's.
Sadly, I do not know. (But I will find out)...
9.
I wish it was a bit warmer for two reasons.
A. My furnace would not be running in May
B. I could go swimming...
.
.
OK. No I probably could not go in here...
(but doesn't it look like fun)?
This was Peters Gravel Pit which has since filled up with water.
I can remember riding my bike through here many times as a kid,
and going so far down at breakneck speed
Coming out on the other side...
Darnitallanyway, my bike is not surf and turf.
sigh.
.
.
10.
Mr Miller and Miss Punk are waiting patiently for me to get off my duff... (and so they can probably get away from Jimmy Hoffa)...
.
.
And Miss Milly is reminding me LOUDLY from her kennel that there is work to be done outside, and that I am quite late.
Love to all! Have a grand Tuesday!
A "New" Blog! hehehe
Late...
Late... magnify
This is my monitor screen;
what I saw when I came online yesterday morning...
OOPS!!!
It's better now.
First of all to apologize to those of you that were upset or lost by my transferring of some old blogs to this site.
I need to continue to do that too.
At the top of each blog will be the date it was originally published.
.
Good Monday Morning All;
And oh how busy we have been around Flintville! But it is a happy kind of 'busy' too...
Planting. Laundry. etc etc etc...
Now the planting is very normal for now... But the load after load after load of laundry is not.
In my last entry, you saw how Sputty had come to cuffs with the baby mole... twice. I have now come to the conclusion that these moles were actually one and the same- The first one that I'd clobbered having gotten back inside somehow while we were gone to our Mothers Day dinner.
There has been not a single resurgence of moles anywhere.
The laundry? I have stripped every bed, top to mattress. Casey and I have turned every room upstairs basically inside out, save removing the carpeting. We have emptied drawers and flipped over mattresses; we have even looked under all dressers and shelving.
There is a ghastly 'dead body' smell from somewhere. And we cannot find the source...
(Beginning to think that we have finally located Jimmy Hoffa; kinda). But he MUST be in the attic- or the walls; because he sure as heck isn't anywhere else!
And FYI, if the 'source' was another itty bitty mole, the smell would NOT last this long!!!
Grrr... I don't even want to think about it anymore...
And so, on to busier (and infinitely more important) things...
Our sweet Jenny Mella has graduated from college! Say YAY!
Cum Laude. Say Yay Again!
AND,
She did this in three years time too!
Say YAY yet again!
***To tell Jenny CONGRATULATIONS, please CLICK HERE.
***To know WHO Jenny Mella is to us, please CLICK HERE.
Greg and Casey went to Stevens Point for the ceremony- Casey came home early, not feeling well at all. Greg then took her home with him to be closer to the hospitals. Not a good day for Casey- Kind of tough to see that this might have been her own graduation ceremony; (but that UWGB has ensured it was not).
Still, she was ever SO happy for Jenny, and proud. As I am too!
The link to congratulate her is a 360 page- I do believe her top page comments are open...
The other link is Multiply- and THAT should work!
Sad to see 360 go down the tubes for us all. But dying horse that it is serves no reason to leave my page open there.
Only my mailbox will remain open.
But yesterdays top page was pretty cool for me to wake up to.
Check this out!
My guess is that number will hover at that point until (IF) I reopen that page...
.
And back to my blog ...
.
My tulips are drawing to an end; (but still pretty).
Where as Caseys flowers have just begun...
A few of her plants...
She carries the cedar "fencing" from the front pines.
.lants...
And has planted a ton of flowers and seeds within our fancy fence.
I can't wait to see how it all turns out for her.
The fence needed to be added to keep the dogs out...
.
And yes, I do have to reinforce the strings with wire.
Even the apple blossoms are almost ready to open!
And so FINALLY, Spring is here!
Last Friday, (under cover of the noonday sun), Casey and I snuck off to Kelli's and thieved a *ahem 'few' baby lilacs from her front yard.
(I have already admitted my heinous deed)!
I planted some where Mama's lilacs had gotten decapitated last fall and winter- And the rest are now rooting along the east side of the garden.
.
.
This is less than a third of those young lilacs...
Before they were watered too.
The marigolds to ward off any hungry intruders that might be wanting to feast on my new Rain Lilies planted in between them.
Thank You Sweet Connie and JT! CLICK HERE for her blogs
I have also planted JT's "Surprise Lilies" in and around the trees, the barngrade and the shed!
I can't wait to be seeing them come up; maybe next year...
I do love 'surprises'!
hehehe
.
A new young cluster of birch~ (NE side of garden)...
.
Now I have to tend to my garden-
Having it all tilled up (two weeks ago already), it is now sprouting a various assortment of weeds and flowers.
We will have to wait a bit to see what those little sprouts really are. BUT I really do have to be planting a few edible rows of veggies.
Hope all is well with everyone, and I hope you all have a wonderful week!
And I promise to (try to) be posting smaller blogs more often...
...as time permits.
More news tomorrow I'm sure.
Love to all.
XOXO
Anne
PS...
I am hoping that maybe you have sent a card to Baby Mariah?
