Ten Thought Tuesday...

Ten Thought Tuesday... 05-20-2008
Ten Thought Tuesday... magnify
stolen from an email, but OH SO TRUE!
Love and Peace...

.

.

Good Morning Everyone;

As you all know, when pressed for thoughts I seem to come up empty~brained. hehehe
But I do believe that I have ample thoughts today;
AND lucky you, it just happens to be Tuesday...

So here goes...

1.
I am happy that Casey and I went to the back forty yesterday... Every one of these fence posts were dug by my dad- (And back when you could still get a decent fence~post)...

.

.

Casey, and the far SW corner of the back forty-
And just having to touch a part of her history
A part of her family that she never had a chance to meet...
.
.

2.
I realize I never posted answers to JT's questions on my blog about Casey on the news.
He writes:
"Hey sweetie the comment " we don't want that type " makes it a CIVIL RIGHTS VIOLATION.
Just the THREAT of that type SUIT will scare the shit out of them but you must be willing to follow through . On that comment alone I think any good lawyer would jump on it . Now if you can get me the email address of the school and the rental company I will tell them just how LOW they are. Also get the email address of the jobs who fired her for being sick they will also catch hell from me > Anyone who has "no comment" is caught up in their own "wrong-doing"

My reply, belatedly:

**** Have at 'em my little Arkansas friend! hehehe

3.
Neither of my dogs love me.

.

Nor does Mr. Miller, (Kelli's dog)-
We dog~sit him almost every day...
They ALL ignore me.

.

.

4.
And that's kinda like my kids.
Most specifically TTII.
We have been informed that j is in town with her family for the week.
No, I do not expect a visit nor a phone call.

Hehehe (Boy was I wrong about that)!

5.
I have been reminded WHY I do not like going to the back forty...
Having just yanked a tick off my neck... ouch! I must be yummy enough!!!
hehehe
Yes, I have already been treated for Lyme Disease,
~ and I don't think you can get it back (that is, if it ever goes away)...
?
Hmmm... ???

6.
CaseyAnne is MUCH braver than I am.

Case in point, I spotted a 'hole' in the ground in the woods. Either a badger or a fox...

Casey wanted to see it for herself.
(Notice the *ahem* cowardly photographer stood WAY back).

.

.

"Oh COOL, Mom!"
.
.
"ANYBODY HOME?!?!?!"
.
.

7.
Not so cool is the virus that has infected my goddaughters computer.
Even though it is called "coolwebsearch"
Nope. Not cool at all.
Greg spent upwards of five hours working to restore her computer on Sunday Night.
And it's a good thing he loves a challenge!
(A darn good thing that this is what his degree is in too)!
*** On a scale of 1~10, this virus is a 10.

8.
Kara called the other night. She is 'mama' to one of Punks sisters, Lily. She works at Mayo Clinic and has a friend that was just diagnosed with Celiac Disease. She asked if Casey had ever had a biopsy of her small intestines at any point during any of her ERCP's.
Sadly, I do not know. (But I will find out)...

9.
I wish it was a bit warmer for two reasons.
A. My furnace would not be running in May
B. I could go swimming...

.

.

OK. No I probably could not go in here...
(but doesn't it look like fun)?
This was Peters Gravel Pit which has since filled up with water.
I can remember riding my bike through here many times as a kid,
and going so far down at breakneck speed
Coming out on the other side...
Darnitallanyway, my bike is not surf and turf.
sigh.

.

.

10.
Mr Miller and Miss Punk are waiting patiently for me to get off my duff... (and so they can probably get away from Jimmy Hoffa)...

.

.

And Miss Milly is reminding me LOUDLY from her kennel that there is work to be done outside, and that I am quite late.

Love to all! Have a grand Tuesday!

XOXO
Me

  2. YARGGGHHHH!!!

    Sweet Toni!!!
Bite your tongue- do NOT give her reason to make my heart stop again!
Methinks she enjoyed my horror even more than the silly hole!
Now a fox would not bother me, but the danged badgers are absolutely fierce. (And that little stick she had in her hand would not have done any good)...
All I could think was how bad it would be to be getting her through all these pancreatitis attacks just to have her mauled by a stupid overgrown rodent.

    Love to you

    XOXO

  3. ROFLMREO at Casey's response. I'm not sure which one of the two of you are crazier or tell a better story. HAHAHA

So it's not Jimmy Hoffa who died huh? And you say he's with Elvis? Cool beans... :o)

Great pictures and blog once again from our very own loverly Flintville Annie [get your gun].

Gotta run. Need to make an emergency trip to the pharmacy...I'm craving chocolate, they have a great selection and there's none in the house.

    Hugs

  5. Good evenin Bart.. Your mind certainly goes in all sorts of directions there...

I will be sure to copy and paste that info for JT that way he has the addresses in front of him.. He will write Im sure.. Not a day passes that he is not on someones butt.. and if hes on theirs it sure keeps him off mine..hehe Like you stupid drives him a little nutty.

Im with you on those holes.. aint no way I would be sticking my head down a hole.. These young people today.. just cant take them anyplace..hehe Glad you took her to the back 40 though even if there are ticks.. did you not wear the anti-bug juice? I can tell she really enjoyed it.

Now as to that nasty pc virus.. glad you have your puter guru.. Me I just do a recovery.. tada.. problem solved. Although once I went to the Norton site and it told me exactly which files to delete. Man o man it was going deep into some of the files.. I was really proud of myself for figuring it out.. too!

I dont think the pups are really ignoring you.. They appear to be very nonchalantly watching out of the corner of their eyes. Plotting..hehe

Glad you had a good day and Hope tomorrow is better!

  6. Sweet Bobo;
As I have said many times, Pa would have loved you- And you him.
(Guess it worked out that way anyway)!

    Ooh. OOh. OOH!!!
I love a challenge too. And I can put those names together.
    Lloks like MURPHY to me.
And CANDACE KAYE would be their credit manager???
    hehehe

Bellin is stupid. That bill was written off for them years ago. Claimed as a write off, they cannot pursue it any longer.
    Dopes.

    Dogs?
    ARF!!!!

    TICKS?
    He is sorry too.
And how can you stand the POP noise???
It's creepy... which is exactly why I flushed him.

    Virus?
    Celiac?
Happy both are curable; even if you have neither.

I rode my bike through the quarry when it was a gravel pit and there was no water.
Try as I might, I couldn't teach my 5~speed Huffy to swim.
    (God, I LOVED that bike)!

Jimmy Hoffa lied. He is dead.
And he is upstairs at my house.
(We are not sure about Elvis)...

That noise you blamed on the sub sandwich?
    It was only your tummy.

    Love you too
    Foreverlonger.

No. Clearly Jimmy Hoffa is dead.
    (And he's a stinker too)!

Hope you got your chocolate! In an hour I will leave to get some groceries so I can settle a few of my own hunger pangs...

    Love to you!

  9. Sweet Connie!
    They ARE plotting, aren't they???

Oh please give this to JT too.
Check out my comment back to Casey if he wants the gals name.
If I had a way to clean up the tape, I would send him the recording of our conversation. It's very grainy though.

And I am laughing at your bug juice comment too. I never put that on unless the skeeters are bugging me; which thankfully isn't even very often. Lucky that way I guess.

Norton does have the way to delete it all. But as a disclaimer to save all your stuff too.
This virus had gotten into her McAfee and had disabled that first. Then it had disabled all the administrator files... nasty thing. I think he has it all restored for her AND has saved her stuff too.
    Thank God for GreggieBaby!

    Love to you both!

  11. naw, she did it all the time on the farm. She would dive right in head first then return in few also head first.... the boneless wonder seemed to be indestructable, unlike my nerves everyt time she did that.....

Fortunately OUR foxes liked the dogs.

  12. hehehe
How cool, Pea, to come back inside and have a comment!

I don't know if the fox like the dogs, (specifically Miss Milly)... She's the one that is out in the kennel 24/7.
But I really DO know for sure that Miss Milly does NOT like the fox!

She will turn herself inside out all night long if there is one around...
    ...Same goes for wolf.
    And skunk.
    And
    And
    And...
She has woken me plenty of times by her yowling and barking...
I don't mind it if she barks toward the road (A few teens actually think they can "park" at the end of that 2nd driveway)... Because then I know if someone is there.
But barking back toward the woods- or Jims- really gets me mad.
And no one else to get mad at but myself, because those are the nights that I haven't closed the kennel door with her inside.

Not sure if badgers are nocturnal either...
    Hmm...
No time to check it out either.

    Love to you
Happy that Izzy B didn't get stuck too!

  13. badgers are nocturnal....

and their holes have a big pile of dirt right next to the hole...(short legs)... the dirt being thrown so far from the hole was what made me say it was a fox hole...(long legs)
