[My] Life in Wisconsin

A Few Words For Sunday...

Good Sunday Morning!
I have been reading and thinking; reading more, thinking more... And am hoping that you have all had a chance to get over to Casey~Face's Blog entry about her diagnosis.

>CLICK HERE< for her news; (or click on her name also).

I am happy that we are home; and have been trying now to get my attached garage cleaned out a bit. Doing this only guarantees that the shed will be messier though. hehehe But that's OK too. I shall get to that one shortly enough. It is so much easier to be working outside when the temps are in the high 60's and lower 70's... Yes, I do love this weather!

I know too that I have much more catching up to do on here. Not only in YOUR blogs, but in my own as well.

(Can you stand another picture from Labor Day)?

.

.

Master Gabriel and Miss Punk exchanged a bit of love...

.

.

.

And then came more worrying about medical tests... (and how much pain they would put KC in all over again; and for what?)...

Her tests were early Friday morning. She was ill already. The nurse said it would take 3-4 hours to complete. I asked for the direct line to that department, and she gave it to me. I made a few phone calls to friends and relatives while I sat in one of the lobbies at the hospital... And then left, to go collect our little things from the hotel...

Arriving at the hotel, my cell phone rang. Seeing that it was a Froedtert number, I honestly felt my heart stop...

...It was Casey. She was ready to be picked up. And yes, they had finished what they needed in about 45 minutes. (I don't think I have ever packed up a hotel room so fast in my life)! hehehe

.

.

Even The Punk was worried...
.
and yes, dogs DO know our emotions, even if they cannot know the rest of it all.

.

.

Some of you know this already, (and I really don't mean to be boring you), but after KC's tests, we headed home to await her diagnosis. Getting about halfway back, she experienced MAJOR pain (in yet a new place). Since I still had that direct phone number, she easily got a hold of the doctor that had done her tests.

(It was a horse~apiece as to whether we would turn and go back to Froedtert, or continue home)...

.

.

Bored, in the back of the Rendezvous...

,

,

We continued home, and in record time, I had her at the clinic in town... She still has pain, but like I said in my comments on KC's blog, we will await to hear back from her surgeons as to the specific diagnosis, and the protocol for dealing with it all.

.

.

After seeing her doctor up here, (and since she had taken some pain pills); Roberta said she would bring her friend Jessica out, and that they would get Casey, and her car, over to Dereks.

Good to see them too!

.

.

As Gabriel immediately heads over to the dogs...

.

.

Miss Milly happy to see everyone also!
.
(Yes, she CAN be a bit stuck~up)!
.
.
Miss Jessica hamming it up for the camera too!
.
.
Casey not hamming anything up at that point, just feeling awful...
.

But they got Casey, (and her car), over to Dereks without any problems. She will be here right after mass now.

.

And there are promises of better days ahead...

Lordy, I am LATE! I have heard the war planes pass over 4 times, signaling the start of the Packer Game, and it is high time for me to go connect with my television!!! (Miss Punk does NOT like the Air Force one little bit; too noisy for her, and she lays at my feet, shaking a bit with each pass)...

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!

XOXO
Anne
