[My] Life in Wisconsin

59, 68, 83, 82, 70...

Good Morning All;

Still a bit blogstipated and dummified... The pic is of one of the noodles that lived through my throwing an entire serving on the floor. (Such clumsy hands I seem to have)!

I have tried not to even look outside this morning as I chanced to take a peek at my current weather conditions on the computer here...

.

!!!SnowFlakes???
("what the heck")?
And I am also very curious as to what the heck has happened to that Global Warming???

Yesterday was a balmy low 80's til about 2... The clouds rolled in, the breezes picked up and a few drops of rain fell. I had just finished planting some beets and some carrots too, so that bit of rain did a whole world of good! But it did a "world of wet" to the boys that came out on their bikes to check on Roberta's quite dead car...

Bruiser, Derek and CaseyAnne; dry again by the time they left...

Sadly, it is not good news with respect to Bertas Little Escort. Wonder if KC has called her yet? They are thinking it is her timing chain... Meanwhile I had made a bit of chili; with onions, cheese and some sour cream- Made some quick parmesan/garlic croutons and everybody ate, and warmed up too. It had gotten so chilly so fast; (no pun intended)...

Dereks bike ran out of gas right after they left here; and Casey brought him some. Now he had just gotten his bike back from the garage, and lo and behold if it didn't start spewing oil on the freeway... He called for a trailer then. I went to sleep... I see Casey has a new blog so she must have stuck around here for a while. Berta and Gabriel will be coming out today, and I am thinking that Casey and Derek will also come out after mass. I am going to find some meat right now and get something cooking in the oven... That slow cooking all day will make my house smell like heaven; and might just warm it up a bit too!

It is currently 38 degrees.

Current conditions as of 4:53 am CDT Light Snow, 38°, Feels Like: 29°, Barometer: 30.15 in and rising, Humidity: 79%, Visibility: 9 mi, Dewpoint: 32°, Wind: N 16 mph (nasty for May)!

Hope its warmer where you're at! Do enjoy the rest of your weekend! And yes, I will be planting a few more seeds today...

Oh, those numbers in my title? Those are the highs we will be having for the next 5 days! Welcome to Flintville! hehehe

XOXO
Anne
