Taken from my (still) UNinsulated living room window...
Hey, I was supposed to have another month!

.

Good Morning All;

CaseyFace and I stayed up very late last night doing our Christmas cards.
She will be done in a day or two. While I, on the other hand will be done by February.
(Um, I promise).

Casey goes back in tomorrow to have bloodwork done, to see where her amylase and lipase counts are now. Not too sure what will be done if they are still "off", but I do know that the 1st course in treating chronic pancreatitis is to treat the pain.
The 2nd course should then be to make sure the kid can sleep; she has been going without sleep for so long that I think she is turning into me!

I came across a very cool article- For those of us that actually write...
A brief synopsis from the Psychology Today article:

"Researchers once believed that the main benefits of writing were purely psychological. But there is new evidence of the health value of forming coherent stories out of the chaotic elements of your personal history. In the Journal of Clinical Psychology reports that people who write about personal details are healthier than those who don't."

And another article on cybercrime, (especially important this time of the year).

Prevention Tips...
Cybercrime prevention can be straight-forward - when armed with a little technical advice and common sense, many attacks can be avoided. In general, online criminals are trying to make their money as quickly and easily as possible. The more difficult you make their job, the more likely they are to leave you alone and move on to an easier target. The tips below provide basic information on how you can prevent online fraud.

I still do not know what to do about all the requests for my password. I close out of it, and go to my bookmarks. This usually stops it for a while.

I have help coming this morning to get the little snowplow on the Cub Cadet. YAY!
(Heya BEEP, I thought I would call someone that lived closer and was used to working outside in this weather)!

hehehe
With that done, then maybe I can finally get the yard even a bit more cleaned up.
Jim came to check it out 2 nights ago. And did a bunch of shoveling that my stupid back and foot would not allow me to be doing. I have been chipping away at the ice that is threatening our safety...
Slowly but surely we will get it all cleared off.
(Hopefully before the next snowfall too)!
Because of the snow, rain, snow pattern that we have had that ice is almost 2" thick in spots. In others I am already down to the concrete. Will do more today too. We are at 24° ~and have been there since yesterday afternoon. A "holding pattern"?
I have not checked the forecast yet today... I await a bit of sunshine to help me out too.

And now, for your snickering pleasure...
I stole this from someone last year, and did not copy who... I'm so sorry.

♫ ♫ Walkin' in A Doggie Wonderland ♫ ♫
.
Dog tags ring, are you listenin'?
In the lane, snow is glistenin'.
It's yellow, NOT white - I've been there tonight,
Marking up my winter wonderland.
.
.
Smell that tree? That's my fragrance.
It's a sign for wand'ring vagrants;
"Avoid where I pee, it's MY pro-per-ty!
Marked up as my winter wonderland."
.
.
In the meadow mom will build a snowman,
following the classical design.
Then I'll do a squat and let it go Man,
So all the world will know that it's mine.
.
.
Straight from me to the fencepost,
flows my natural incense boast;
"Stay off of my TURF, this small piece of earth,
I mark it as my winter wonderland.
.

I hope you all have a Wunnaful Wednesday!

Love to all!

XOXO
Anne

Oh never mind, it is snowing right now...
