[My] Life in Wisconsin

Monday. (Numbers 1-18). hehehe

The pond!

Here I am, playing ketchup again...
Ready? Here we go:
Monday... Yes, I know I am late here... A bit. A wee little bit. hehehe
I'd blogged- (about food)! And was naturally very hungry. But all hell broke loose.

My Monday, right after I had blogged... went like this:
  1. Kelli came over.
  2. Then Kelli left.
  3. Then I left.
  4. Then I came back.
  5. Then Kelli came over.
  6. Then she left.
  7. Then Kelli came over.
  8. Then she left.
  9. Then Kelli came over.
  10. Then she left.
  11. Then I left.
  12. Then I came back.
  13. Then Kelli came over.
  14. Then she left.
  15. Then I left.
  16. Then I came back.
  17. Then I left.
  18. Then I came back.

Translation Key:

1.
Kelli came over.
She was hurried and very worried; tooting the horn as she pulled in post my living room window. She was dropping off Miss Coco and Mr. Miller; and would I mind maybe bringing them to doggie day care? I had been online, so no way to call ahead.
Not a problem for me. I am always home, even when I'm not supposed to be. hehehe
2. Then Kelli left.
Miss May was down, and she was on her way to Michelle's to check on her.
She had already called in to work.
Kelli also had brought over Coco's new bark collar so my neighbors would not hear this dog from 5 miles away. Brand new. Still in the box!
I put it together, and put it on Coco.

Ns CocBean
Coco just stared at me as I walked away...
Then she started barking her fool head off! (Silly me,
assuming the alkaline battery was charged up, or that the damn thing worked).

Mr Miller-
"Um... S'cuse me Auntie Anne,  But what the heck just happened?"

3. Then I left.
Bringing the perplexed Mr. Miller and his noisy cohort CocoBark down to Doggie Day Care
4. Then I came back.
Stopping to take this photo of the poor stuck lawnmower by Suamico Elementary School -

Stuck
hehehe (Lot of that going around these days with all this rain)!

5. Then Kelli came over.
Kelli's return visit after the vet had come by and treated Miss May for her colic.
She only had to treat the back end! And not the whole digestive tract. (YAY)! Much easier on the horse this way-
6. Then she left.
Heading back over to check on Miss May and to offer her a handful or two of hay...

7. Then Kelli came over.
Bearing gifts of fresh veggies and fruits from Blasers Acres!
8. Then she left.
To check on Miss May again, and yet another flake of hay offered and eaten.

9. Then Kelli came over.
Methinks just to rest herself inbetween checking on Miss May. She wanted to go home so could I please bring the fresh peach crisp down when it was ready?
10. Then she left.
Finally to run home, get in the shower, and check on the progress of the new house

11. Then I left.
I went down to Kelli's to bring my cooked food for them-
She had water. She had electricity. She was a very happy camper, finally after a long and exhausting day!
We tooled around on the 4 wheeler...
She even gave me a ride back out to my car...

Kelli on the 4-Wheeler
I was barefoot...
Tim's mom, (Mary), was pulling up as I pulled out.
12. Then I came back.
Time for dinner! (For Punk too). hehehe
Thought I would check my email first.

13. Then Kelli came over.
I been online once more and so no way to call me.
14. Then she left.
Michelle had called Kelli as Michelle got home from work.
Miss May was down again.
(Yes, the night vet had to come and do the whole front to back on Miss May this time).

15. Then I left.
To pick up the extremely perplexed Mr. Miller and very noisy Coco From Doggie~Day~Care
16. Then I came back.
Left them outside.
Noticed that Casey had called. So I quick returned that call. (Sick or not, she was on her way out to Michelle's too).

17. Then I left.
To bring the noisy Coco and Mr. Miller back home.
18. Then I came back.
We finally ate supper!
Mmmmmmmmm...

Strange, isn't it, but Kelli hasn't been here since.
..  HEHEHE
She's probably still looking for her shoe...

What?! Following?!
hehehe

Everything came out just fine with Miss May-

Hmmm... Now you don't want me to be telling you about Tuesday, do ya? hehehe
Have a 'wunnaful' weekend!

Love to all

Please click here (and scroll down to #4) for what Miss Breeze went through when this all was done for her colic.
-OR, better said, 'what went through her'
hehehe
Yes, there are pictures. (No. They are not gross).

Karma- (and The Gender of the Clot)!

Full Moon...

Good Evening All;
Just 2 short things...
First of all, the very good news.
They have FINALLY arrested the man responsible for Christine Staevens murder.  (CLICK for story).

Hopefully karma will be a bitch for him.
Some of you may remember that I lived across the damned driveway from this man for more than a few years. Now I can share all those awful stories with you, without worrying about my health, home, or longevity...
?
* Also know if you click on the "murder" tag on my blogs you will see more of the whole story, and my relationship with these degenerates-

Finally, before I go to bed (and totally feel sorry for myself while I nurse my own damned raunchy head), I had an appointment today with the PM doc.
She made a few phone calls after seeing me and wrote me a referral to the hospital.
... Seems I should be worried about that blood clot in my leg?! Ya think?
I was to go there on the way home--- and for what?  For an ultrasound!
(I do not care if my clot is male or female for Pete's sake)! hehehe  And then I would wait around for them to give me yet another prescription for some more chemicals to put in my body? I don't think so!
I am tired of this all. So tired.
So I came home and broke the Cub Cadet. Yes,
I tried mowing lawns (again) today- Took a few swipes, put the 'new' belt on twice, and then the damn motor died too. (To hell with it).  I left it right where it died. It can stay there forever for all I effin' care.

I took two aspirin.
... And will see you in the morning
.    hehehe

Hungry?

Not sure what kind of flower this one is?

Good Morning Everyone;
After having severe headaches, for over a month, I will be bringing Casey in for 11.
That said, this will be short...

Kelli spotted this Indigo Bunting at the feeder the other day!

Indigo Bunting

So pretty!

Hungry Indigo Bunting
Hungry too! hehehe
I haven't seen one in years!

Check out the nectar sacks on this bees leg!!!!

FULL of Nectar
Both legs were so chock full that he didn't fly away too fast- Honey will be yummy too!

Y'all could come for lunch or dinner...

Flowers and Pears

Flowers-  (Some are edible)
hehehe, with the pear tree in the background!

Then the apples... (Hope Suzy Q's deer are hungry this Fall too)-

Apples
Those trees are so full.
Randy eats these green apples with a pocketknife and a salt shaker...

Anyone up for some Fried Green Tomatoes?

Green Tomato
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

How about a whole lot of gas from the cabbages?
hehehe

Cabbages
Pew! But delicious too

And here, with the meat included we have the whole shebang!

Full Course Meal in the Field
hehehe

Speaking of fresh food, Miss Kelli brought over raspberries, blueberries, some cukes, Georgia peaches, yellow/wax beans, green beans- and all kinds of fresh stuff!
OMG, I made a peach crisp that was simply to die for! That was 2 days ago, and it is all gone already!
(No I did not eat it all myself. Trust me, I had plenty of help)!
Now I only want more!
hehehe

I will post a non-hungry blog soon. I promise.
I already have lots of stuff to catch up on, and will try to do that as soon as I can.
Supposed to cut the lawns this afternoon- and put the rest of my little gas can into Casey's car the other day.
But the tank on the rider is full to the top, and I can mow a whole LOT with that!
hehehe

First things first. Casey must be to the doctors by 11.
Must fly...

Hope all is well with everyone-
Love to all

One Injured in Neighborhood Clash-

Victim Left With Gaping Head Wound

 Flintville, WI-

A noisy daytime brawl ended when one victim sustained a deep puncture wound to the head.
What began as a quiet and orderly gathering ended quickly when the victim was found to be bleeding profusely from a large laceration to the right temple area.

The injury is not thought to be life threatening.

OwiEEEEEEEE!
Down to bone...

It is not known exactly how the accident occurred as neither party involved will speak to authorities.

"Buzz Off, Beans."

What is known is that the victim does not like her leg bitten either

"Leggo my- Leg, Oh!"
Leggo my Leg. -Oh!

"I Was Here First!"
I'm telling whether you like it or not!

The victim remains in good condition.
She is being treated at home.

"A What?! You are NOT going to put a 'stitch' in my head."

Measures must be taken so the young lady will not be injured further.

Never a dull moment.
*sigh*

XOXO
Me

Health. The Intelligence of Youth. Weather. (And a Little Bit of Luck).

   Baby Birds- (one headless?)! hehehe
On the Wires in the yard-

Better grab a cup of coffee or tea- I got a little long-winded here

Good Morning All;
Oy! It seems to have been a long time since I have played ketchup.
  hehehe
Hopefully this morning I will not be as rudely interrupted by Mother Nature as I was yesterday when I tried to post a blog.

William did call last night- His wife recovering from yesterdays surgery, and his Mom having brought Lawrence in for his tests. The specialist that saw Lawrence did some measurements- then stated that he 'highly doubted' that our Lawrence has Marfans; but to be sure they did send out DNA tests to check for a familial (genetic) tie to this syndrome.
Lawrence's cardiologist will also be on that, and we will then all know for sure.
While they do not know exactly why Lawrence's heart might be a problem, save for the mitral valve problem, William has also firmly stated that he will not be a part of making Lawrence live in a bubble, so to speak, either. A kid DOES have to be a kid. William is correct about that.

Speaking to Lawrence the other day, (oh, he is just brilliant!). He is a science geek, watching Discovery and all the History and learning channels. He likes the show "Monsters Inside Me"- And not to laugh at, as many 10 year old boys are wont to do-  Lawrence can repeat the medical terminology, and genus' of the bugs that invade -etc etc etc...
He asked when Casey, Valerie, and I, were coming down? (He is right, it has been a long time).
He also said that he thinks of Miss Valerie as his sister! (Very cool that), and hey maybe after all this time, perhaps Zoé will be kind enough to allow me to take Valerie again- and when Casey is up to this trek as well.

Speaking of kids...
My own youngest has a few problems of her own. (Ya think)?!
hehehe
Her blood tests from last week not showing the "up" in her iron that was expected. But we were told that maybe this still will rise with time. (It has been 3+ weeks since her 6th infusion, am wondering just how long a body needs for this to show up
?!).
Or is someone pulling our leg? Sadly, I do not know.

Casey came out late on Saturday afternoon and spent the night here, as Greg had game in Sheboygan that night. She would have gone, but feeling as poorly as she did, she did not want to be taking chances either.

She has tons of pain still, with no explanations for that- (yet?).
AND, her thyroid test now came back as hyperthyroid! I am hypothyroid, (which is exactly the opposite).
As her levels are not so low as to be treated (yet), they are another warning, another strike, to her already badly compromised system.
Hyperthyroid would account and explain her inability to sleep well, and the fact that her innards are always working overtime.

As Saturday slowly turned to Sunday, she didn't sleep at all. Not one wink!
I would wake from my own little 'naps' and find her working on her logic problems; or writing from her books, saving words that caught her attention for one reason or the other. She has many papers that she has saved- My mom would do this also.

Later on Sunday afternoon, I found her like this...

Casey Asleep
FINALLY!!!
I hardly had the heart to wake her around 7 to have her go home to be able to spend a little time with Greg before the new work week kicked in once again.
Please keep these kids in your thoughts-

Back to our storms.
We have had plenty for the past few weeks- More in the forecasts also

Remember this from yesterday afternoon?

7/20/2010  Futurecast (+45 minutes)
This "futurecast" picture that they showed was WRONG!
(Thank God for little miracles).

While we did get plenty of rumbles and a bit of rain, it was NOTHING compared to what they thought we would get, or what less fortunate did get-

These pics, after the storms had decided to move on a more acceptable southerly track.

All is well

Moon

But there was damage too-

Branch Down!
hehehe

AND, I lost a flower!

I Lost a Flower!!!
Darn sad that.
hehehe

Down at Kelli's a few days ago, they already had a bit of a washout-

Their back porch...

Washout at Kelli's
That's just not right!?!

Then, there's the camper that decided to go for a ride last night...

Overturned Camper Trailer

OK. It is not Kelli and Tim's.
hehehe  But Good God, how lucky we all were to have not had the ferocity of the storm here.

They had put in a silt retaining wall so their topsoil would not wash into the pond-

Pond 2
(The black fencing in front of the pond is for the silt to catch on).

But the sand has a decorative quality of its own after all this rain-

Sand River from Storms

Not so decorative here though...

Sand????

Yeah, those are my basement steps!!!! YIKES!

Send Silicone!

Please send a few tubes of silicone!
  hehehe

As most of you know, I was raised in this house. I have never seen sand come through a concrete step! Guess that tells you how much rain we have had, and how fast and furious it has come down.
I will get them caulked today.  If I can.

Speaking of "luck" (was too), Kelli has NO idea how lucky she was NOT to have gotten my phone call about 9 last night.
I could not move. My back has been worse, again, for the last week or so.

My back was 'stuck' -rendered wholly inflexible by this pain, and I damn near called her to take me in.
I knew they were probably asleep by then- Tim goes in really early, and Kelli goes in early enough as well. I didn't want to be a bother. Nor did I want to call Casey and have her come all the way out here to drive me in. Besides, there is NO way Casey would even have had the strength to move me!

All that was going through my head as I lay there- until I realized that I couldn't even reach the damned phone! I had set it on the charger after William had called...
I figured that was a sign.   - A mean one, but a sign nonetheless...

I did fall asleep for a while, and when I woke, I could at least get to the little ladies room and to take my pain pills- (I even took my Kadian 6 hours early).
Darn fine thing that Punk and I have stable (and apparently large enough) bladders. hehehe

Life goes on. I might call in today, depending upon when Casey gets in touch with me- She will either call me, or just text my email, when she wakes up. Sometimes she sleeps quite late, depending upon when she finally is able to fall to sleep in the 1st place.

I'd better close for now- I must go in search of some decent caulking, maybe.
Am hoping all is well in your little corner of the world.

My love to all.

XOXO
Me
