  1. Too funny!!!

See, this could either be an ad for the benefits of having a dog, or a plea for help from the 'system'.

  2. Oh my. I bet she was neat & clean! Can you imagine ...she lived there a year and it wasn't til just recently that the guy became suspicious!
Maybe Berta's roomie could live with him. He might not realize she was there for months !!

  3. I think that is so very sad. Yes, what she did was wrong but she did what she felt she had to to live. At least she was clean and tidy. I hope they drop the charges on this woman. This is an example of people needing help but obviously can't get any. I say take away benefits from someone that don't need the help and help this poor woman---and anyone else that REALLY needs it. It is amazing that she stayed hidden for as long as she did though.

  5. Sweet Pam,
    You are right of course...
There are too many that are receiving that do not deserve/NEED it.
Not sure how it all works in Japan though
(Will have to recheck, I do believe this happened in Japan...

  8. My closet door stays wide open (story behind that one)...one has to go outside in order to gain access to the crawlspace...and the only SAFE way into the attic is through the pull down ladder which is located right smack dab in the middle of the living room. The other two entrances are through the windows on either side of the house. They are both locked and neither are broken. As small as this place is, there is no place for anyone to hide.

So mommy, for the moment, all is safe (I think) here.
