Good Morning Everyone;
This was Casey last night- As Greg had brought her to come and pick up her car.

She has just called.
In severe pain, unable to tolerate even water once again.

I am going to try to get my car started, (it is 14 below without the windchill)- but in the meantime I told her to call an ambulance.

Love to all.

A few minutes later now... 9:58AM.

Said she has diarrhea and maybe that is why?
She is going to hold off calling the ambulance...
I will update you all in my comments below as I know more.

XOXO

  1. Tell her to tell that pain it does NOT want me to come over there and kick its ass for her! Tell it to be gone and stay gone, or else....
Seriously, I am sending tons of healing light for her to the Universe.

  4. She has called again.
Contacted the resident at UMN- He said to get her blood checked for infection.
Her temp is a little over 99 right now-
    Was at 98.8 this morning.
97.9 yesterday. (Her "normal" temp is about 97.2).
She has called and made an appointment at the clinic this afternoon.
They will send transport for her.

Said she is going to try to sleep a bit if the pain doesn't get any worse.
She also put a fentanyl patch on about 7 this morning... But they take a while to work.

  5. ANY sort of infection. Plus to run a CBC to make sure she isn't bleeding on the inside again.

  12. Gosh Anne, I hate to hear about this starting again. We knew she would have up and down days, so maybe it is just not finished healing yet inside her belly. Still, it is best to get things checked and make sure things are on track. Don't want whatever could be going wrong to go on for too long.

Hopefully she is resting or is on her way to that appointment. She is still so fragile at this point.
    Hugs and Prayers!

  15. Sorry to hear that Casey is not feeling well. Hope they figure out what's going on. With the diarreha, sounds like that nasty flu virus that's going around. Please keep us updated as to what she finds out at the dr. Glad to hear they will send transport for her.

  16. The clinic picked Casey up- and brought her for her blood test-

Her blood tests remain the same as they were 2 days ago- And all seems well.
(I am still thinking that she may have an ulcer).
Oddly enough, her own doctor had gone home sick today. (Nasty, that).
Makes you wonder what is going around though...

Other than having to go back on Tuesday (when it is supposed to be in the +20's), and having a new appointment at her pain management Dr. (Mario). next Thursday, Greg and I will be keeping her under our watc, unless she gets worse than now, painwise.

    Keep praying.

And as always, I-WE thank you for all your htoughts and prayers.

    XOXO
    Anne

  22. Hi Sweet Marsha!

The pain is afraid of you, but I'm not! I wouldn't mind a visitor! So feel free to stop in anytime! Seriously most of the time I spend just sitting here reading or watching TV so anytime you'd like to hang out come on by!

    Love to you!

  23. Hello Everyone!

I figured an update on here would reach everyone faster! I am doing about the same as I was all day. The pain I have now is stomach pain and it seizes up for seemingly no reason from time to time and that's when it's really bad. I wait it out and continue to keep up on the fluids.

I did steal some of Greg's sesame chicken and that stayed down so a little bit ago I decided to have a microwave dinner. I am hoping that stays down as well. At least a little something to make my blood sugars go back up would be nice. It even seized up on the little bit of jello I had earlier so it is being very tempermental.

I am hoping this all will pass soon enough and I can get on the fast track to healing again! Until then I will be waiting things out. We (Mom or I) will keep you all posted.

Thank you ALL SO MUCH for the thoughts, powers, and prayers!!! I know enough by now to appreciate every one of them and to know they are all being heard and answered!!!

    Love to EVERYONE!
    ~CaseyAnne

  25. Casey...darnit! If only you could make it through this harsh winter without catching anything. I just know you will start to heal if your system has a chance to do it. But those viruses or bugs are sitting around waiting for us all. Take every precaution that you know how to do. Your weakened immune system is a red flag to all those little critters!

Take care....Hope you feel better tomorrow!

  26. (((((SUPER big hugs Casey!))))) Hang in there girl...I'm still praying for you!!!

  27. If I can get a ride over I would be there every day and you would tell Greg, "Oh just make her go away"...LOL. My car is not a winter car, (82 Chrysler LaBarone Convertable) so she sits in a garage all winter, and I have to rely on Hugo, who works all day.
But maybe I could work out a bus line and pop in on you some day? We could color!!! :)

  28. Hi Coolgromma!

I, too, was relieved to find out that my blood work was ok... Thank you for the prayers! I giggled at this "bug" crawling back to where it came from! I hope it does though! I am truly blessed to have so many who love and care for me and keep me in their thoughts! It is amazing and I have people like you to thank for that! :D

Thank you for the luck, hugs, prayers and blessings!

    Lots of love,
    ~Casey

  29. Go Sweet Peachie!

Way to yell at those bugs! :D I wish I could've made it through without catching anything. I did get my immunizations though so at least the big ones will be warded off... I know my system would get around to healing and it will as soon as this passes... I am taking every precaution I can... I am staying inside and staying away from sick people. If I need to go somewhere, Greg cleans off the car and starts it so it is warm by the time I get in... Such a sweetie! Even when he's not home I warm my car up so there won't be such a temperature shock...

I'll try to get all the buggies out now! :D

    Love to you!
    ~Casey
