What happened to your first crush?

  1. I don't know....

But I remember him well... 6th grade and his name was Jacob. ALL the girls had a crush on him. He would only be boyfriend to the 'popular' girls but I remember always thinking that he liked me... No, I wasn't 'popular'...

He's probably married with kids and fat and bald now though, LOL!

  3. My very very first crush eventually started dating one of my best friends and then they eventually married. He is a pharmacist and they have 2 grown sons now. I know this because she asked my permission to date him in High School. I said "go for it." They also live here in the same county I do and I have shopped the drugstore they own.

He stopped being my crush when I had been transferred to the newer school in our county and I ended up with another boyfriend.

  4. I have no clue what happened to my first crush. His first name was Philip. He was in my pre-algebra class. I remember kicking myself in the arse when I realized he had had feelings for me too. I didn't find out till it was much to late. They were moving to Indianapolis (from Hawaii), something related to the Navy (most likely recruiting). They were on their way to the air port and he talked his parents into stopping at school so he could say good bye to me. First time I cried over a boy.

  6. My first crust? I had it bad for her but she thought I was a square, she liked tough guys. As it so happened she became my step sister so to speek. My dad never really married her mom but lived together. I stood as best man at her first marriage, now that was not an easy thing to do. She divorced him and later got married a second time, which also ended in divorce but had 2 children. Married a 3rd time and got seperated and one day he called and said he had someting for and asked if he could go by and drop it off. He was told yes and when he got there he unloaded a pistol in her, she is in the ground and he is in prison.

  8. My first crush started in grade2 and by high school we were still sort of attached but he had a girlfriend and I was with my now hubby. Just four months before my wedding he stopped me on the road when I was coming'
home from my friend's house and asked me to go out with him. I told him we had to stop being seen together cause it was too close to the wedding. So, eventually he accepted that and we kissed for the last time and
that very same night he got killed in a car crash. I thought I would never stop crying....it was just awful and the first real tradegy I had ever experienced. Our best friend was also killed that night with him in the car.
They were two very smart and handsome guys. It was a hard thing to accept.

Poor Jacob!, but you are probably right!
'Tis the way of the world Sweet SlurkieBaby!

I remember going to a few class reunions...
When someone was pointed out who I had asked about, I generally said, "Oh shutup, it is not them!"
    (And it was)!

You were SO fickle! hehehe Moving away and getting a new boyfriend! Still giggling!

Oh, and I have a 'forever' marriage that I am responsible for. I brought her over to his dads farm when we were juniors in high school, and they have been together since!

  14. Well...I didn't exactly "move" away. There was a new school built and they decided to split everybody up and send the kids on one side of town to one school and the kids on the other side of town to the other. It was to fix the overcrowding in that one school. But I only went there for one year. But since I no longer had contact with my first crush, I found another young man who caught my attention. His name was Butch. He is the one who drowned 3 years later during my freshman year in High School while he was living with his mom down in Louisiana.

  15. Hi Mr. Nut!
It is always so nice when you come and comment.
(But forgive me if I don't like your story at all).

That is so sick and so tragic- Guess you don't have capital punishment in your state, because that sounds pretty cold, calculating, and definitely premeditated.
And to be as close as step brother and sister. I can't imagine!
    I am sorry-

Do guys keep track of their crushes, or was it just because your dad was dating her mama?
(Yeah, I already know I am nosy).
    hehehe

    XOXO

  17. Sweet Pamela!
I am giggling at him chasing you and hitting you!
(And how many times have you heard that he did that BECAUSE he liked you)?
Methinks he liked you just fine...

Poor Danny Goldberg- I hope he grew up not to be hitting girls anyway.

    XOXO

  18. Sweet Bev;
A very cool friendship story that grew out of a crush...
But such a(nother) tragic ending as well.

Know that 10 years of friendship, give or take, is more than most people have even with a marriage!
And for that you are very blessed.

    XOXO

  19. No story, but I will share my own 1st crush...

He was my friend Judy's older brother by 2 years. (He still is for Petes sake)...
And oh he had the dreamiest hair! -Remember I graduated high school in 1976, and everybody had long hair back then. (Which to this day I like on guys as long as it is kept nice).

When I was in 7th grade, we had some roller skating thing that we could invite guests to.
He held my hand that night as we skated 'round and 'round. (I thought I would die of the pleasure).

It never went past that, but wow, what a night that was!

    XOXO
