Punk has been very 'odd' (for lack of a better word), the past 4 days. She is very lethargic... She is eating and drinking. She plays for a few moments, then goes and lies down.
Her "get up and go" simply got up and went...
As I went to leave today, I said "go for a ride" She got up, moved about 4 feet, and laid right back down. Loudly too. So on our way to my doctor appointment I called the groomer and told her Punk would not be coming in. Then called Doc Spires. Casey brought her in as the appointment for her was 11:15- I did not expect to be done at my appt by that time. Dr. Spires did no tests, but everything checked out alright.
Is she depressed? (I wish I knew what went on in her head). Maybe because I have been so unable for so long- Maybe because Mr Miller doesn't come since Kelli got CoCo.
We shall see if the Minnesota trip changes this at all. if not I shall ask for bloodwork and/or Xray.
My "back" appointment was just hand me some more vicoden and lidocaine patches, and tell me to keep my appointment with my regular doctor. Damn hey. But at least I caught up with Casey and punk at the vets.
That's what I hate the most with 'back' appointment. Just going there caused me more pain... I've stopped going a long time ago & hey, my back is getting better & better! ;-)
I was hoping you would have better luck at the doctor for your back. I'm praying that you will soon find someone that can help you. I was hoping what I sent you would help, but it's far for you to travel...I know.
Well I hope that both you and Punk will feel better soon. If he thinks that you are sick, he will get depressed over it. What a sweetie.
"She" didn't even barely look at me... She asked what I needed, (and so I knew at that point what a waste of gas that way already),. I told her this, that and the other thing- (So she did this that and the other thing). And I was gone.
My regular doctor is on vacation 'til Thursday- and boy will he get an earful from this appointment. Clearly "she" had better things to do.
Me too. But she did ask if I had ever seen Dr. Mario. (He's the pain specialist in town). I asked her if my insurance would cover him. Of course she didn't know...
Woke at 3 barely able to move... But "tolerable" now- She did increase my dosage so that's something too. Just NOT enough to make it go away. I wanted to shout at her that I ALREADY HAVE A DAMN PHARMACY IN MY HOUSE! (But I am so quiet and soft~spoken I would never think to do that).
Truth is, I hadn't the energy.
Now if only I can make it to/back Minneapolis, AND sleep on my favorite bed there with many pillows.
YARK! Fox River is gross at its finest! At least remove the top layer of chemicals... There are 2 hoses here. One on the back of the house, and one on the kennel. Feel free to use them.
I hope you get some good news today and they find out whats going on and make your back better , you have suffered enough with pain ..
