Casey has just called. Greg will be bringing her in to the E.R. She is quite sick- (Colon I believe). Please say a prayer or two... XOXO, Me

  2. Thank You so much
I can't even go with her, (or TO her).
I took my back meds just about 45 minutes before she called. (Damn. Damn. Damn.).
    This is scary now-

She called again. Has a room in the E.R., and they have already drawn blood, looking for any/everything.
I hope I can stay awake... Or at least hear the phones ring if I do fall asleep.

    XOXO

Going to go turn the TV on now...

  3. Is she in pain? Good to know that the good docs there are on the ball!

If you can't stay awake, make sure you have your phones as close to you as they can be so you WILL hear the phone when it rings...

Turning on the TV is the WORST thing I can do when I am tired but want to stay awake...

    Keeping the prayers coming!

    *HUGS*

  5. Sorry Casey is having problems. Praying it is something minnor. Mel had feeding tube put in again, her GI tract is not working. Everything looks good, just not healing quickly and hasn't started functioning yet. They are optimistic that it will begin soon. Mel is on Delauded and it no longer makes her sleepy it just makes her restless and keeps her awake. Used to knock her out though. Works but has some Mule kick! I will be going home today, she has made friends and wont be lonely. Dr. Lamount said that he worked on one of Dr. Sutherlands patients when he was in MN. Said she was 22 and her name was Casey. Unlikly that it is your Casey I think it was a few years ago, but would be a small world if it was wouldnt it. Guess I will go and start to pack up stuff. Best to both of you girls, praying for quick relief and comfort.

  7. Hi Everyone-
Sorry. I keep falling asleep, then waking up, then falling asleep and waking up...

The last I heard was around 3-
All of her blood tests had come back good!

I still don't know if they kept her or not. I am guessing she is back home, asleep in her own bed. Otherwise she would have called at some point when the nurses etc came in to wake her up...

She told me a month ago that she had to call Dr. Sutherland and get back there.
I don't think she ever did...

    Love to all.

  8. OK
I couldn't stand it, so I called her and woke her up...

They know nothing more than before-
She is home, and has pain-
Thanks to the zofran, (?) her nausea is gone, but since she is still asleep she has not eaten anything.
She will call when she wakes up.

    More later.

    XOXO

  11. So much going on here too, Annie. My niece, who I was taking care of for awhile,
needs to have heart surgery. It will be her fourth one. She is only 17.
I'm so sorry to hear that Casey is having health trouble and pain again.
I will pray for her to get well, and for your back to get better too.
Miss and love you both! XOXOXO

  13. Oh dear Lord!

Well...I just scanned down and read a few comments. Glad to read she is home. I pray this is not flaring up again for her.
Hopefully she can get some rest tonight.

  14. Sweet Annie,

I hope this is just some odd flairup and not the start of something worse.
Take care of yourself and I'm sure Greg will take care of Casey.
