Car Question for Everyone

...And not enough "givens" for a poll.

What kind of car do you drive?
Why?

I shall have a new blog shortly- but in the meanwhile I am just curious...

  4. It depends on what I've got going on. Around town, when it's running *got to get my mechanic on that*, it's a 97 Subaru Legacy wagon, roomy, comfortable and good on gas. Long trips with lots of stuff, to my daughter's to take her furniture etc, 92 Chevy CK 1500 4 wheel drive pick-up. Comfortable, not too bad on gas and room for hauling. Working in the woods getting wood etc, 87 Chevy Blazer 4 wheel drive to get where I'm going and haul some butt. Both the Blazer and the 92 make it much easier to get off the ridge in a heavy snow.

  6. I drive a 2002 king cab Nissan Frontier. Why? Because that is what Rob came home with the day our Jeep Cherokee died. I hated this thing when he pulled into the driveway with it. It looked like an ugly monster. I always thought it was much too big. Till one day I couldn't find it in the parking lot at Walmarts. Then....there it was....dwarfed between two huge SUV's. Made my truck look more like matchbox toy truck!

But, I have loved having a truck to haul things in when necessary. I do like a truck over a car. But hauling piles of groceries in the front seat of a regular truck is not fun. So that backseat has really been great. It's like the best of both worlds in one vehicle. But you do have to adjust to driving and parking with a larger contraption around you. LOL!

  7. Brand new Nissan Micra, City, we were in the shopping centre one day having a coffee as usual and Julie got up and said she was going window shopping, I said don't come back with anything RED, an hour later she returned with a New York Blue Nissan Micra, 443,9 for a tank of 12.68 gallons, it's only a small looking car but seats 5 adults and shopping easily, so comfortable we only travel around the hills area mainly so it's great. Lovely lil thing too and these day when cost of petrol ( Gas ) is a worry it works great for us.

  10. VW BUG...Is the best Car I have ever had....Plenty of room, speedometer goes up to 160, gas mileage is great and sooo easy to maneuver. Heated seats. warm the buns, lots of bells and whistles...lol..I will always drive one from now on....Lots of glass so getting the windows tinted was a good idea in the Texas Sun....

  11. I have a 2003 Ford Mustang V6(red)...nothing special. I drive it to go to the store or anywhere I want to go when Bruce is at work. Its easy to park anywhere. We paid cash for it so its been great ! The Grandsons love Nana's car...lol
Bruce drives a Ford F150(white) pickup. When Bruce isn't driving it..I commandeer it..lol Its good for hauling groceries..or yard sale finds. Its also good for hauling Drew and his crutches(they are a tight fit in the Mustang). Bruce complains that I drive the truck like it the Mustang..lol
We put about $40 in gas in the truck every other week and I put about $20 in mine once a month(unless I have a busy month..lol) Living a mile from work for Bruce is wonderful and I'm not far from anything I need as well.
