BP. And wagging the dog...

Rating:★★★
Category:Other

"Ironic that BP's oil rig exploded, killed 11 workers, will devastate the Gulf Coast economy for years to come, and will destroy 25% of protected U.S. wetlands... just weeks after Obama announced support for offshore oil-drilling. Ironic that the oil rig picturesquely sunk on the 40th anniversary of Earth Day.

Painfully ironic that the rich oil industry has no idea how to cap the 7-inch hole that's spurting millions of gallons of oil into a patch the size of several New England states."

Is it irony?

  1. It might be irony... I know it is awful... Especially for the people who were injured or the families of those who were killed, and for the animals in that area that will be killed because they can't get out... I hope they figure out a way to stop that leak... You would think they would've come up with that before they even drilled. Safety precautions for the worst of situations should be thought of well before something gets built... Just my thinking...

    Love you MUCH MUCH!

  3. I agree with Casey, they should know beforehand how to fix something like this before drilling ever starts! The poor families of those who have died.

  4. It's as if the earth is bleeding.

I have read a few theories on this. Hard to know what is fact, or conspiracy. Could have just been an accident waiting to happen. But there sure have been a lot of those lately. Too many. Between school shootings, coal mine incidents, erupting volcanoes, earthquakes, tornadoes and floods.....well....there may be a lot more to this than just being coincidental happenings. All this on top of the a failing economy that is reaching around the world.....has got to make people stop and think.

  5. The quote really made me think too...

My own thoughts went to sabotage, as there are too many coincidences. (That, for lack of a better word). We all know there ARE no coincidences in this life...

I promise you there is more to this story. Much more.
