  6. A 79-year-old Wisconsin woman said she used an ice chopper to kill a rattlesnake she discovered on her patio !!

Surely she knew that's where she left it last time she used it ?

  8. From my email came this from my son in law, William

..."Hey that was a prairie rattlesnake and no they are not endangered. She probably got it in a planter or bushes, or some plants that she has just bought. That happens a lot down here. Especially plants coming up out of FL. But most of ours are little pygmy rattlesnakes no more than 18 to 26 inches long. Lawrence named it off when he first saw it. He loves his snakes. Love you."

  9. It would never have dawned on me that this was a rattler in the 1st place- unless I set off his rattles somehow...

    How awful for her!
