The winds are atrocious-
(Gee, I hope nothing hits me in the head). hehehe
Casey resumes her infusions today- And has been so very sick of late. Please just keep her in your thoughts and prayers-
Know too that I am saddened by the possibility of any American losing their newly acquired hope for HealthCare.

Know that Republican vote, city hall to senator, will kill many people like my Casey.

Casey is in my thoughts. BTW did you see the story on the unintended consequences of the Healthcare reform. It seems that many employers are conidering dropping medical coverage for their employees. From the recent research done by Deloitte employers are saying they don't want to be the 1st to do it but will be a quick second. *sigh* Apparently between the taxes on the better plans and the rise in premiums it will be cheaper for them to pay the $2000 fine per employee than it will to continue the benefit. Some employers are just pushing so much of the cost of premiums to employees that it will be cheaper for them to voluntarily opt out of coverage and into the Federal Plan. Makes me so proud ... please note that was sarcasim
ReplyDeletewhile I will pray for Casey, it's so true...there will be more damage done by this new healthcare bill than good.....there are some good points in it; i.e. no pre-existing conditions and no limits, I like those and think that insurance companies should do the same..I do agree that there should be healthcare reform, but I do not think that the government should be involved.....have you had any or much experience with Medicare or Medicaid? Even CHIPS.......all government ran entities.....I'm so sorry that you and your family are having to go through what you are going through, but if your prayers are resting on the new healthcare bill......I would come up with another option, what about your Indian rights? don't you get some sort of benefits there?

Well I'm not saying healthcare reform is bad or that this plan is even bad - frankly I don't understand enough about it, but I do think there are and will be some unintended consequences that will have to be rectified

You have time and time again spoke out loudly and quite unforgiving toward anyone who spoke 'for' healthcare.
So please don't come to my page and tell me now that "I do agree that there should be healthcare reform"

Even Punk hates being outside when it is so violently windy... Too cute she is.
She cannot figure what she smells or where it comes from. This obviously pisses her off bigtime- I see the question mark floating over her head as she looks around... hehehe
As for the house, the windows rattle a bit- (The four I didn't replace)- a few shims there fix those right up.
Still, somehow these are the winds that suck the heat right out of the house-
It is warmish outside- 55- so I'll not complain about that- But if this rain was snow we would be having one hell of a winter blizzard- (So I am left not to complain about THAT either)!

ReplyDeleteIf you are at all in doubt how to vote, please- you have my permission to copy the picture of Casey and take it along with you as you cast your vote. And do not forget about the other millions of kids like her.
Too many people are so simple that all they see is that it 'might' cost them an extra dollar on their paychecks.
They overlook the "people" factor. The fact that this saves LIVES!
People before profits.
