Get To Know Mitt Romney

From my email...

The Mitt Romney who's running for the Republican presidential nomination has said he would sign legislation to end Medicare as we know it, slash Social Security, and repeal health care reform as one of his first acts in office.

But over the years, Mitt Romney has supported expanding access to health care, protecting a woman's right to choose, and investing in infrastructure -- just like the kind in the Recovery Act that brought us back from the brink of a depression.

It's one thing for a politician's positions to evolve over time. It's another to flip back and forth over the course of a 20-year political career based on what office you're running for and where.

And that's exactly what Romney has shown: He has no core convictions or values. With him, it's all just politics.

It makes you wonder -- which Mitt would we get in the White House?

And which Mitt would we be relying on to make decisions on behalf of millions of Americans, during a crisis, or as commander in chief?

So we took a hard look at his record, everywhere he's stood on the issues, and put it all together in the form of a new site, WhichMitt.com.

We can't predict exactly how Mitt would govern as president, but you can take the quiz to test how well you know his track record to get an idea -- and perhaps learn a little more about the man some are calling the Republican front-runner.

Which Mitt do you know?

The answer may surprise you:

  2. FROM THE CHEAT SHEET:

    "Romney Team Advised ‘Obamacare’ "

It’s no secret that Mitt Romney’s universal-health-care program in Massachusetts was the model for President Obama’s federal law, but the relationship was even tighter than previously known.

White House visitor logs show that three Romney aides paid Obama’s team at least a dozen visits, and had at least one meeting with the president himself to help plan the health-care legislation.

Romney has deflected criticism from conservatives over the similarity of his health-care scheme to "Obamacare" by saying that if the administration had asked his advice, Romney would have told it its version would "bankrupt the country." But it turns out it did—and he didn’t.

  3. Even some of the comments are 'brilliant'

Thank God for National Health Care reform!
My Doctor tells me what to do; not some chiseling insurance clerk in a Hartford Connecticutt Office Building cashing my checks and denying my health care costs.
    Keep it up Obama!
And you guys on Wall Street ought to make a Cross Country trek to Hartford to support what has been accomplished since the Zillionaires plundered America and enthralled the Tea Party with Murdoch's & Koch Brothel cash.
    _____________

These are big ideas on how to use big government. McCain was no different with his own health care plan that cost 50% more than Obamacare and a budget that would have produced larger deficits than Obama delivered.

Look again at Scroto bragging about GOP "big ideas" then wonder how these frauds can cling to the pretense that they are in any way conservative.
