[My] Life in Wisconsin

WAH!!!

As mentioned before (and oh, how many times?), I am a dunce...

It won't let me put my todays 360 blog on this site.  (It says javascript/css not allowed).

Now i don't know about all that crap, so what the hey does THAT mean?

It's a bunch of Blah~Blah~Bullsh*t if ya ask me.

Pissed now. All my hard work didn't take. Guess that must be why it only moved less than 200 when I tried this morning to transfer everything. And THAT makes me mad too because i am NOT going to redo all my yahoo hard work.

So, devil take it...

have a wunnaful day.

XOXO

  2. The way I am transferring is to go to my edit feature, copying the html code and then pasting it in my multiply blog.

Of course this could be exactly the way you are trying to do it too LOL.

  3. Angie and Karen...

Oh, I just want to give up...

Tired of the crap and all on BOTH sites.

Wish Multiply would give a heads up on which blogs they did transfer, and which are still not here. it's gonna take me forever to figure this crap out...

Am seriously thinking about Wordpress. No transfer tools but it seems quieter and nicer there too. And for the less BS, I would gladly transfer me...

    hehehe

    Love to you both!

  4. I ran into the CSS code a couple of times myself when I tried to bring something over...don't remember what it was now though. I just made a couple of adjustments and everything was hunky-dorey.

For what's it worth ''flintville'' I get frustrated too. I finally learned to just get up and walk from the computer for a few hours. At least here, I can get to where I want to be in seconds. Over there, it takes a bzillion clicks and I still don't know where I 99% of the time.

My 360 hasn't been looking right for about 24 hours. Something is transparent and it won't let me change that setting. Glad I no longer blog over there; it just isn't worth it to me.

  5. I'm so sorry to hear that this happened to you too, I was hoping you would be one of the lucky ones!

Todays blog: if you were trying to move it over from 360 you would probably have been better off moving it manually, which is to say in UN-Blah~Blah~Bullsh*t...

    open your blog in 360

    click on the edit button

once it's open click on the HTML box (on the same line as the tools - right side)

once it looks like something that's impossible to read - highlight it and do a right click copy

    go into Multiply

click on "post" at top of page

click on "blog" as your choice

paste-in what you copied from 360

it should all be there, pictures and all (except for your top picture - you'll have to put that in separately but clicking on the little "embed" link in the tool bar)

    Sure hope this helped.

  7. PS: From what I've heard if there is any one site to blame for the transfer nightmares it's 360. Past blogs in 360 have been very difficult to open lately - because of that they aren't all coming through en-mass, simply because they aren't available all at one time in 360. If they all aren't there - they all won't come through on the transfer. That's why you and I only got about 200 of our 300+ blogs to go through en-mass.

I'm sure this doesn't make you feel any better, but I'm just trying to help explain.

  8. deeannes is right, it's the fault of yah-oops...hehe..I like that one. I'm so glad I moved everything when I did. And I moved everything one blog at a time (the transfer tool wasn't around then). I didn't I'd ever get finished.

Yes, you do have to copy and paste, plus if you want to keep the attached comments, you'll need to go down to where you see the word ''comment'' at the end of your blog and click on it. You'll then see ALL of your comments. Highlight the page, right click, hit copy, come over here, go to post/blog, put cursor in the middle of the blog thingey, right click then click on copy. And voila! You can also do any edting that will no doubt need to be done. You can also change the date and time to when it was originally posted when you are ready to print.
