[My] Life in Wisconsin

True Story; Please, I Need Your Input. Paranormal

Good Morning Everyone!
I received the neatest note in my email this morning, and would love to know what YOU would say to this person...

Here goes:

Part One- Edited for privacy.
(A letter my friend received)

Hi,
My daughter called while I was shopping...
Last Friday night, her fiance was working in kitchen at 2:30 am and saw orbs.
He looked outside to see if it was his eyes but nothing there.
He looked in kitchen again and they were still there.
He decided to go to bed But went outside.
He felt someone over his shoulder, sorta hovering.
He looked and nobody was there, though felt it still.
He closed up garage and went in; deciding not to tell his fiance.
She saw her man sunday night.
Lady at work said there are alot of haunted houses in Green Bay
I actually don't think I want to sleep over now...

It was forwarded to me, and included this note:
Also edited for privacy.

Hi Anne-
They just bought an older home in Green Bay together, and she had previously called to say she saw "a man in a yellow shirt looking down the hallway" when she got up in the wee hours. When she saw it, she could not speak, or scream; and froze in her tracks.
She knew it was not a 'real man', but was freaked out.
The home is 88 yrs old.
Their Boxer pup, cowers in her cage when both are gone at the same time.
I never read Sylvia Browne, but I have seen her on tv a couple times, and know you've mentioned 'orbs' in your photos.
I have read one book by Allison DuBois, from "Medium".
Both she and Browne seem to be the real deal.

My question is simply this...

How would YOU reply to this note?

Have a grand Friday!

XOXO
Anne

  1. Gez Anna - I don't know how I would answer this, if they didn't feel threatened I think it would be ok and you'd just move along.

  3. I think people are too afraid of spirits. Scratch that, people are too much preoccupied with stereotypes.

Ghosts are just that ghosts. Treat them as you would any other being (wwith respect and dignity) and they will do the same. I have only ever had two experiences with ghosts who were less than respectful out of all the ones I have dealt with in my life adn both straightened up as soon as I laid out some ground rules.

One was simply an annoyance (turning things off and on (pre remote control days) and teasing the dog). The other was more of a bully (sitting on people and jumping on the bed in the night). Like I said though, once they knew I was aware of who they were and laid down the house rules, they were fine.

I am with you on the camera thing, take pictures of nothing. Use the old trick of "looking down the horses ears" and see what you see.

For those who don't know, the theory was that if your horse spooks, you should lean down and look where they are looking from between their ears. You will see the spook that spooked them.... same thing works for dogs and cats.

  4. Twice in the 26 years I've lived in my present home have I been scared out of my mind. The first time ''something'' was trying to smother me and darn near succeeded...the other time? A little too personal to discuss...suffice it to say I was unnerved. Both times I was in my bedroom. The first time my bed was facing East, the second time West...once the bed was facing South all was well.

I've smelled cigarettes or cigars when there was no way I should have...I've heard music when there was no way I should have, I've been cold when there was no reason I should have been cold (come to think of it, my ''office'' is now in the very spot where I normally smell the cigarettes or cigars and have been cold when there was no reason to be...not even during the winter months. Umm.

Silly things have happened, items have been lost (mostly jewelry) and all but the jewelry have been found.

I've never seen a ghost (or don't think I have anyway).

Do I believe there are evil spirits that can, will and have done a great deal of harm or cost someone their life? Darn right I do. Why do I believe this way? It happened in a town about 30 miles South of where I live a few decades ago. I know a few of the people involved, and also know they are credible.

A side note here...a few times I've blamed things on him/them when in actuality what was lost or went wrong was my fault. I made sure to apologize to him/them. (I'm beginning to think there's more than one here.)

Respect MUST be shown on both sides. "Play" nicely and all should be well.

If the entity is evil, that's a whole different ball of wax.

By the way, the only time I've seen orbs have been in your pictures Anne.

For the puppy, let him have a four-legged friend; he's lonesome and misses his mom (maybe taken too early from her side).

  5. Advise her to read some of Sylvia Brownes books! I just love this stuff when it is really happening. Wish it would happen to me. Maybe it has and I just stopped paying attention to it.
The plain fact is.....the spirit world does exist and most likely it exists right here where we are but on a different plane of existance. Since nothing is really perfect, maybe we manage to get a peek at them and they sometimes get a peek at us. Things will scare us because we have been taught not to believe that anything else is suppose to exist or be real but the world in which we live in right now. Maybe our own existance in this time is what is really not real. What if everything solid around us is really an illusion and our true existance is in the spirit world. I suppose some day we will know the answers won't we.

  6. I think I would ask if they got a feeling of security or anger.

I know I see someone occasionally and I know John sees him too.. but there is never a bad feeling. I know he is freaking them out.. but it is probably not something to overly worry over. Nikki acknowledges him too...

As I have said before.. I think hes my guardian and watches over me.. and has followed me from house to house for many years.

I know its probably difficult for them.. but I think I would research the house. Might actually find out who it is.

  7. Interesting topic. Do I believe in ghosts? no....Do I believe in spirits? Yes! For me these are two entirely different entities. The first time I saw that pic of Miss Milly with the orbs, my first thought was "oh, you have little spirits in your house!"

  8. The presence of these orbs are what I call angel lights they are guardians of souls--and are generally related to the person or object they appear next to or arround---I will contact my aura/raiki pal in Arizona--if you feel threatened do a salt protection ceremony with prayer and holy oils---This topic always intrigues me--and have most of Sylvia's books and watch Montel whenever she is on---Take care and like catsmeow says--"respect on both sides is extremely necessary when dealing with bad spirits or confused or lost souls--generally they are attached to locations..

  9. I thought that was just me.. we have silly things happen and missing things that turn back up right where they should have been while we were looking... usually several months later.

I have to be careful with that because.. just misplacing something isnt the same ...

But when you know where something should be and you look and it isnt there then you start searching every nook and cranny and it is no place to be found.. and then all of a sudden one day its right were you looked the first time..

    Thats a little odd.
