Good Evening All;
I am very tired... and not knowing when I will be able to post again, I thought I would share a few more pictures with you.

Roberta is doing well, but needs to bring her blood up soon or they will ultimately do a transfusion. I am sure they will keep her there until her blood is replaced...
.
.
This now, to go with the above picture...
.
.

.
.
.
.

And just to give you the correct size of Big Sam's tootsies.
.
.
.
.
When we got to NICU, it was very apparent that Samuel was wasting no time waiting for us to come...
.
.

.
.
And as soon as we got there, a miracle occurred!
.
.
.
Check these beautiful eyes out!!!!
.
.
Sam says "HI" to all!
.
.
.
And so it goes that Master Gabriel has gone from 'baby' to "Big Brother" in the wink of an eye!
Suddenly being SO BIG too!

At least big enough to finally push the buttons for the elevator!
.
.

And darned proud of himself too!
.
.

Gabriel and I also did a bunch of shopping.
His wardrobe a bit sparse at this point in time.
But no longer!

By the time we got home, he was one pooped out little kid. He has been asleep ever since. I am thinking that with all this excitement he will sleep all the night through. Wish I would too

Love to all

XOXO
Anne

  1. Looks like our prayers are hard at work and glad to hear it. Yes, Master Gabriel sure does look like the proud big brother. I'm sure he will be a big helper for mom when she is finally able to come home. Hope you get some sleep, birthday girl. I think ya need it!

  6. Such happy news! Sam is beautiful! Gabriel is going to be a great "big" brother, I can't believe how tall he's gotten in just the last few months - he's growing like a weed! I hope Roberta is feeling better soon, and that she won't need a transfusion. Get some sleep Annie!

  8. I'm glad "Little Sam" is doing well. Isn't it weird that my last grand daughters name is Anna and you have a Sam? Be safe and I'm glad mom is doing OK also.

  10. Good Morning Sweet Pam;
Gabriel is very nonplussed at the moment when I go to the NICU. And doesn't even ask a single question... But I catch him just peeking with this bit of awe and wonder- Haven't been able to catch that on the camera though...

As far as him being a big help to his mama, I am sure you are right. And want to let you know what a HUGE help he has even been to me here. I am having such a battle with my back... mostly with gravity, and he is always there to help pick something up!

Yes. I think I am going to have to keep him.
    ;-)

    XOXO

  11. Good Morning Sweet Morysa!
Quite obviously that 'cuteness' is part/parcel of their DNA!
    hehehe

And Big Sam has this dark skin with red hair!
    That hair!!!
Not from the Native side, but from the Sullivan side.
(Maybe I should call him O'Sam)!

Now that you mention it, I do have to stay on top of these pills of mine.. I woke around 2 and could barely move. SO much pain.

And to everyone else too, THANK YOU FOR THOSE PRAYERS!
And funny, isn't it, how God does work in mysterious ways all the way around.
This whole week has been like that...
And I will share that all in later blogs.

About that cuteness, check out my comment to Morysa!
    hehehe

  14. Sweet BethieBaby!
hehehe Master Gabriel sure is a little pistol!
And he is not only big brother to Sam, he is little brother to Lawrence.
So yup, he is middle child...
Will have to watch that all for him.

Between you and I, Sam kept opening his eyes and closing them again.
I keep the flash off by him
(the nurses say I don't have to, but I feel better for him if I don't flash in his face).
I must have taken 20 pictures, and only three had him with just partially opened eyes.

I said AWWWWWWWW too when they uploaded to the screen!
    hehehe

  20. I'm sure Master Gabriel is totally awestruck with everything going on AND with his new little brother. I hope you are able to get that in a pic. I'm sure that will be great pic indeed and one for mom and nana to cherish forever. Glad to hear that everyone is improving. It's amazing what they can do now days for premies. My granddaughter, "blossom" as I call her was born almost three month premature and weight a whopping two and a half pounds and she's growing like a weed. She'll be in kindergarten this coming school year and that is so hard to believe.

What did you do to your back anyway? I'd recommend a trip to the chiropractor but I don't believe in them myself. I've heard to many horror stories about them. Hope you get some relief soon. Til then, try to kick back and rest your weary bones.

    Love ya!

  21. Anne I seem to be missing everything!!!!! First off.....HAPPY "BELATED" BIRTHDAY TO YOU MY FRIEND!! And second.....HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO SAM!
I have had a heck of a time with my multiply page lately. With company for the summer I have not had a whole lot of time to sit and do what I need to do to figure out what the problems have come from. It gets frustrating when you have 4 kids under your elbows and in your face constantly asking questions. Makes me forget what I started out doing!
They are all at the public pool right now. But for some reason I go to bed with a headache and wake up with one. Not the migraine though. My sinuses are all messed up. Inhaled a lot of smoke during the past few days of fireworks. Kids and those colored smoke bomb things! They loved the colors in them but I don't want to be around those things anymore. At least not without an oxygen mask on!

  22. Oh.....and CONGRATS to Berta! Hope they get that blood issue straightened out soon so she can go home. Rest while she can at the hospital. If that is possible there, that is.
