I have seen "toothies" (purposely misspelled) like that many times. But the way she displayed that blog had me thinking the tooth got knocked out.
If that root dissolved like that since last year she better keep a close watch on the rest. My daughters bro-in-law lost the enamel on ALL of his teeth. They feared the root system to go next. He has had a lot of work done on them with no guarantee that any of it will last for long.

Your brother in law probably should have saved himself all the time, all the worries, and all the money and just gone for the full plates. Dentists are too rich anyway. hehehe

I totally believe that sometimes you just have to laugh .. life is funny that way.
