.

Good Morning!
First of all, Punkie seems to be better; having woken me so she could pee, poo, and EAT!

Or maybe she woke me because something was up. (I am still not sure what that something may have been).

I left her outside- a bit after 3AM.
As I walked out with her, I noticed parking lights, on the road, but by my 2nd driveway.
I slowly walked toward Punk (who had to pee worse than anything), and grabbed her collar, telling her 'shush'.
(No that didn't work).
We waited and watched for a minute; me trying to subdue this 100.3 pound dog of mine, and to squelch the growling too-
Finally, I hollered out, "Who the hell is out there, and what the hell do you want?!?"
A few seconds later, a car pealed out-
(Mach 3 at least)...
Like I said, I am still not sure what that was all about.
Yes, as my mouth is, so my guns are at the ready if need be.

As I said above, Punk does seem better this morning-
As Peachie suggested, and I concur; methinks it just might have been a bit of depression for the wee pup.

Either that or it is very odd that she seemed better after a visit from these two.

We all took a walk to the woods.

On the way back home then...

And so our day and visit went... It had threatened rain all afternoon, but none came. (Why do I get the feeling that Mother Nature is saving the precipitation for me to shovel)?
.

.

.

The game is an early one today- Noon here. (1 eastern, Bug).
And I am positive that almost everyone on here knows I am a Green Bay Packers Fan.
.

Who wouldn't love a face like this?

hehehe........
Aaron Rodgers by you.
.

.

Yet, being a Packers Fan doesn't run in my whole family.
(I hope you were sitting down for that sentence).
Punk chooses NOT to watch these games; rather she falls to sleep on the couch during them!
WTH?!?!?

That may be my own fault... As I watch, I have a tendency to be silent, and quietly 'coach' to the best of my ability.
Every now and then, something akin to "Tourettes Syndrome" strikes me; I holler, curse, and scream-
Perhaps a bit LOUDLY...

This of course startles the poor pooch into being wide awake...
.

.

And UP pops that head,
...and those eyes!

.

.

Cnv0293 by you.

You do NOT want to know what she says when this happens.

To that end, (among others), I hope the my Packers will kick the poo out of Tampa today.

Love to all.

XOXO
Anne

About my title?
If you know what my favorite movie of all time is, then you understand those words.

  2. Glad to hear that Punk is feeling better....maybe he was just missing Caseyface.

That would be spooky going out and find someone sitting at your driveway. Me thinks that they were up to know good beings they took off as soon as you hollered at them.

You watch packer games the way I do....only thing I'm quite verbal through out the whole game....lol!!

  3. Sweet Beep;
Like our Mama's would have said, "Must be the weather"...
Glad that Nikki is better too!

Now as far as Dallas goes, please do not ever use language like that on my page again.

  4. Sweet Pam;
I generally AM louder and more vocal; except it was a night game, and I was alone, (with the exception of the sleepy dog that is!

I do see that the tire on the back of my Rendezvous has needed a bit of blowing up 1 1/2 week ago.
Now the front driver tire on the Roadmaster suddenly does too?
    So what's up with that?
I am guessing I have pissed someone off.

  5. Sure wish I could get those games here! I do not unless they are night games or Mondays...sucks! I think depression is a good answer to the Punks issues, but who knows for sure? I am sure seeing those 2 cheered you ALL up! Nice pictures as always!

  6. I am so glad to hear that Punkie is feeling better! Depression can do weird things to people and animals alike. It very well could be that she was missing Casey. I'm sure she knows that Casey is sick also and misses and worries about her just like you do...

About the strange car in the middle of the night... Teenagers trying to play pranks maybe? Someone trying to steal gas out of your vehicles? Either way, whatever they were doing, it had to be unnerving... I probably would have messed my britches! You are MUCH braver than I am LOL!

I don't know what your favorite movie is but I can be quite the researcher at times... Paul Newman was an outstanding actor and his charity work will always be remembered. The world lost a great man when he passed on Friday...

    GO PACKERS!! GO BENGALS!!

    Love Ya,

  7. I am glad your dog is feeling better, I hope she stays well. Finding someone on my property in the middle of the night would scare the bejeezus out of me. I don't have a gun and my dogs are not savvy enought to bark and growl at anyone, unfortunatly.

  8. Glad the pup is feeling better. Tuff Packer game though.

  9. Glad to see me lady punkers all perked up!

It twas depression no doubt. A bit or boredom too, probably. She must have been missing Casey for sure. And getting a little attached to Greg as well.

You know it is the time of year for the toilet paper rollers to come out. My sister was sitting on her screened in front porch one night and watched this car drive slowly by and two teenagers got out. She sat perfectly still and watched their every move. They were rolling toilet paper across the grass and was about to toss it into the trees when she spoke up and said....."NOW.....YOU WANT TO PICK THAT BACK UP!!!" They took off running and one fell down the embankment and got up limping and the other one ran smack into a big pole. They were both running and limping trying to chase down the car they were in. They dropped several rolls of good TP which my sister kept and used. Hehehehehe! You never know who may be sitting and watching you in the dark!

  10. I'm so glad Punk and Casey are feeling better. Maybe Punk was feeling Casey's pain. They both look like they're feeling fine again in the pictures : )

Being that I live alone too, seeing a car parked in, or even near my driveway, in the middle of the night would scare me. What do you think they were up too? Did you check your gas tank? There's been a gas shortage here, and even more so down in Atlanta. Over the last three weeks every time I need gas I have to hunt for a station that's not out of gas. The situation seems to be getting worse daily. It's gotten so bad in Atlanta that people have been reporting gas being siphoned from their cars.

I had a laugh over that tomato... looks like a discarded body part, of some sort.

  12. your favorite movie is a candy bar...?
either we are related in some way or we have the exact same Tourette-y type response to Packer games.. i know the feeling about A-Rod, sometimes i wanna kiss him and other times want to choke the living sh-oot outta him... who knows, maybe in one of my prior lives we were married.. yikes..!

ps-hope you don't shoot the milkman...

  14. Go on Craigs List Sweet RubyBlue;
Make friends with Packers Fans from Fresno- Chip in for the sports channel where the Pack is and everybody get together 14 times a year to watch!
    (Just don't allow dogs).
    You are in Fresno, right?
Oh I am such a forgethead.

You are right. A visit from those two would cheer anyone up!

(I still want to add the 6K after that)...

I had Gabriel the day after Casey had been at the hospital too.
As we drove by St. Marys, he said "Look Grandma, it's Casey's hospital!"

    About that car...
I have locking gas caps on all the cars.
Paranoid that way- A healthy paranoia...

You are right, Paul Newman was quite a man.
    So was Henry Gandorff.

  16. Sweet Judy;
Please remember that your dogs love you very much- and I believe that if tested, you would be surprised at how quickly they would come to your aid.
We had a Great Pyrenees/Golden Retreiver- friends with everyone-
Kids could ride her when they were little.
Would put out a 'gwroof' when a car pulled in...
One day a truck pulled in with some guys in it-
Ma held Heidi Dog back, not even realizing what was happening til afterward.
These guys wanted to 'paint' the house barn and shed.
    She said she wasn't interested-
The guy tried to get out of his truck and Heidi got very upset.
They left. never to return either.

    Dogs always KNOW somehow.
    The good. The bad.
    And everything inbetween.

  18. Great story about your sister Sweet PeachieBaby!!!
    Still laughing!

    Now about that last line...
    Thanks, I needed that.
    hehehe

But if someone is watching me, they lead a more pathetic life than I do!
And there is comfort in that somehow... ?

Never having boys, I thought I would not have to worry about the toilet paper angels that appear once a year.
    I was wrong.
We awoke one morning- back when we lived on Jaworski Road; and the girls were all in high school, and all my trees were tp'd.
It was hilarious too. My trees were all so little then, and they looked like little lumps...
    Somewhere I have pictures

    YAY!

Remember that I have a 200 foot driveway, so it's not like they were close by at all.
See my comment to Stasha (Slurk) above. Gas is all locked up.

Who were you married to in a prior life?

  31. I hate that feeling when you know someone is out there in the dark and you also know they can see you, but you can't see them. Creepy... One day we will solve this mystery... Until then I am happy you have Punk inside with you for ample protection.

I am gland that it was just depression and she is feeling better. Next time she wants company though, tell her to just mention it. That's just way too drastic to stop eating!

Getting to walk and play ball was some much needed fun and exercise all around! I think the end came because of my tiredness! Everyone else seemed like they had never-ending supplies...

Muntant tomato looks like either a screwed-up heart, a tumor, or two boxing gloves stuck together. Watever it is, you got a great picture of it...

No mentioning of precipitation that comes in freezing cold solid form! I just can't face it yet...

I really wonder what goes on in Punk's mind on game day. I still remember her as a puppy during her first game. That poor dog probably spent a half hour at either the TV or the cheering people watching it! So much so that by the 3rd quarter she barely could keep her eyes open! Slept great after that though...

Also, that picture of her is just darling!! True impression of "WTF is wrong with you???"

I didn't get the movie reference, I thought it was "Gone With the Wind", then I looked Mr. Henry Gandorff up and found "The Sting". I don't remember that line though. I will have to watch it with you sice someone was cool enough to buy you the DVD version! ;)

Oh, did you know that when you enter "Henry Gandorff" into Dogpile that you are the 5th result? Cool, huh? :D

    Love you much much,

Too busy to check all that...

You said, "I am gland that it was just depression and she is feeling better."
A bit of a freudian slip there?
    Too funny !

I am sorry you were up in the middle of the night again.
Glad that you came online though too.
