I have a bunch of running around to do today, and we are leaving shortly.

1) Would you tell if you knew someone was cheating?
That would depend upon whom was cheating. (I told my ex once that he was cheating, and he got rally p*ssed)
2) What's the worst way the economy is affecting you right now?
Stocks. Bonds. CDs. (Patience is a virtue). ;-)
3) Have you ever been angry for being born?
Of course not.
4) What has been your favorite job in your life?
SAH Mom
5) Have you ever seen a baby being born?
ALL 5 of my grandbabies
6) Have you ever watched someone take their last breath?
Yes, Daddy
7) Do you think you have what it takes to handle a real emergency?
Strange question. Stranger answer.
As many of you already know, I have terrible anxiety attacks; and yet, I am most levelheaded and calm WHILE something is happening. It is only afterward that I "lose it"...
8) Do you sing off-the-wall things while you clean?
Nope. But I always have Rock Show (Sirius-TV) on the background.
9) If you could unlearn something what would it be?
Absolutely not. It has all made "ME" what I am today.
10) Do you own any cookbooks?
Literally, dozens.
11) Is your car paid for?
Both of them are. I do not buy on credit for autos. hehehe
(Well, not the last three anyway).
12) How is the weather right now where you live?
Bit decent, warmish for February. But gloomy outside...
13) Did you know they sell Cactus in the produce department?

No wonder kids won't eat their veggies and have nightmares.

Fish and veggies (no cacti)

Who cares? It would save lots of $$$.
But with the price of postage going up, I am guilty of buying 500 "Forever" stamps too.

My hubby has been buying up a lot of forever stamps too. The price of those danged things goes up again in May! Makes you wonder if they will eventually do away with the snail mail post office system. They assume that everyone will someday be doing mail only on the internet. And......someday....they just very well may be. Not in my time, I hope.

I think thats fine.. if it will save the postal service money and in turn save us money in turn.. sounds like a great idea. Personnally I wish they would get rid of all the junk mail, but of course, this makes them money

That's a loaded question... I fell apart when I found out my Mom was close to death and in the hospital... But I think if I would have BEEN there while it was happening I would have been fine...

Lucky you. I know I could never have the opportunity. The hospital here only allow the husband to be together with the wife during labour... Sigh...

Around here, the doctors work for the patients, and should listen to them.

You're right, Anne. But it's a normal hospital regulation here. I guess I can understand the reasons behind it too... They're trying to protect the newborn, who knows what germs we're carrying around... LOL! Or was it because they're just lazy to entertain us... Sigh....

I am seeing people whom I care about losing their jobs.. Knowing people are losing thier homes and such , its very sad ..

Don't make no difference to me ..I don't use the mail often and when I do , seems like what I send cannot seem to get there ..I sent Greg a gift on the 12th of December and now its the 12th of Feb and he still has not recieved it .. GRRR

ReplyDeleteNewborns by nature have their mothers immune systems. Their mothers have the same immunities afforded to her close family.
If the mother doesn't care, it is completely silly not to allow family in the rooms.
After all, there are MORE germs in any hospital than can be found in anyones bathrooms.
Having a child in the hospital is an awful thing when you take THAT into consideration. But yes, we all do it. (Now).

I actually feel bad for your friend, but then again they say Love is Blind...
I feel worse for you having to see your own fiancee die. And with that comes the hopes and dreams you once had. How awful to be in those shoes, and yet, how wonderful that you were there too.
I fall to trembles after a crisis too. Weird that while it happens, (even with Miss Milly), I was calm, almost a spooky calm; that drive into town, and the few nuzzles from her.
She hated riding in a car, but she did just fine that night.
