[My] Life in Wisconsin

Short Note

Dr S and Casey!
03-16-2009

Hi All;
Yes, we are home, getting here yesterday evening...
We did speak with Dr. Sutherland after her tests, but he had not yet had a chance to go over everything. We should hear from him soon I would think/hope?

At this very moment Greg is once again bringing Casey to the hospital. Maybe she is having reaction to the barium she had?
Just bad pain all over her abdomen.
Not too sure what else is going on now...  I just wish I could stop all this suffering somehow for her.

Know we did have a good day here- Highs in the mid~60's-
Casey drove out... I made a bit of meatloaf too. Mostly, we enjoyed sitting outside, and playing with the pooch!

I will blog tomorrow- For now maybe a bit of supper and a nap.

Hope all is well with everyone.

Love to all.

XOXO
Me

  8. Get some rest and congrats on the warmer weather.

I know of this barium you speak of.....I call it the medicine of the devil. It always does one thing or another to me.....I hate it. Still saying prayers.

  9. Barium can and does cause some people to have a reaction. Not all things are actually safe for all people. Seems like I read something somewhere lately about Barium and it's side affects. Wonder where I saw that.

Anyway....aside from Caseys pain....glad the temps was good there so you all could enjoy the outdoors a bit.

  10. Greetings!!! I've been looking for something you might have blogged and thought I must be missing
it. I'm not too bright sometimes around a computer (or anything else for that matter)..LOL I was
pretty happy when I came back and found this. I'm glad you made it there and back. Hopefully
you will hear from Dr. S soon. I'm so sorry Casey is gone back to the hospital with pain. I can't
imagine how you both hold up so well, I guess it's all the prayers and the love that goes out to you.
I know that I say a prayer several times during the day when I think of her and what she must be
going through. She is so thin in her picture above. Hopefully your wait will be over soon and she will be good as new!! God bless you both and lots of hugs. xoxoxoxoxoxo

  13. Barium - yuck. I remember when I had a Barium test done they forgot to tell me to take a laxative afterward. I finally ended up passing it but it was about the size of a tennis ball - OUCH!

I hope Casey is feeling better real soon.

I'm so glad to hear the weather cooperated with you this time.

(BTW I'm taking Punks package to the Post Office tomorrow. Look for it in about a week.)
