[My] Life in Wisconsin

Flintville. Sunday Morning.

Good Morning Everyone;
Not sure about your backyard, but mine was a bit nippy this AM. (Am hoping that this will be the last day of the season that the furnace feels the need to kick on). Going to have to jack up the weatherman and tell him that it's past the middle of May...

For those of you that are keeping up, there is no further news yet on the on the Jaworski Rd. fire, and the gals death. It still sickens me though, my own thoughts about what might have happened.
Years back I had to get a restraining order against them; (he, his previous dame, and even her kids were all included). The judge had no problems granting it. Long story there.

Of course it means nothing when compared with this loss of life. I hope Madison returns all those results quickly so we can all see how silly/stupid/paranoid I have been about this all.

My back is still pretty fookin' raunchy; and so, I have been busy stagnating. (Doctors orders ya know). Suffice to say I am not amused.

I was, however, very amused by Casey and Jenny Mella yesterday.
.
.
516 Punk KC and Jenny Mella
hehehe
(That's Jenny's sock).

They basically cleaned my house!
(Even "finding" the tables and the floors).
Thank you SO much!
.
.
*Jenny was even attacked by a mouse!

I will blog about that all later today, and promise to post many more pictures too.

I have had a rough time posting this morning- (See the PS). Am going to go lie down once more. Am tired and sore, and sleep didn't come well last night.

Hope all is well in your little corner of the world!
My love to all! Have a Sun(ny)Day!

XOXO
Me

PS
Now who the hecks brilliant idea was it to put the copy/paste keys right next to each other?

If one hits the 'v' instead of the 'c' your entire entry just disappears.
Grrr...

  1. That was sure nice of the girls to help ya with the cleaning. I don't know what I would have done if Cee hadn't been along with the errands yesterday. With the way my shoulder was, there was no way I would have been able to get half the stuff that I did yesterday. Couldn't lift it. Hope your back feels better real soon. Listen to the doctor and be "stagnate". lol!!

I haven't been keeping up with that story about the fire. Did it ever say how old the mother was? If she didn't wake up when the child was screaming, maybe she had passed away in her sleep. I just hope the family gets answers soon. Also, what has become of the children?

  2. Sweet Pam;
    She was 40.
And to the best of my limited knowledge I believe if she would have died of smoke inhalation the coroner would have caught that right away, and not had to send results out.

Time for me to try to nap.
    Have a great day!

  3. Hiya Rock,
Im sorry about the back still hurting.. and what great girls to come by and clean up for you.. They definitely deserve a prize for that. Most especially if attacked by a mouse. Where was Sputty during this attack????

Now I guess I dont really understand your reasoning for thinking foul play in the fire. Other than the fact that years ago they were pretty much what most of us in the south call "white trash".

Standard procedure in Texas to send for autopsy if the person died "before their time" , most especially under extenuating circumstances. She probably had been drunk, or on sleeping meds and thats why she didnt wake and the only way to know that is with the extra tests that the coroner is asking for.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Yeah, the coroner would have been able to rule smoke inhalation so obviously he/she must think there were other circumstances that may have caused her death. Who knows? People have been known to die in their sleep from heart attack or whatever else not matter what age. I really don't think they are leaning towards foul play because otherwise I think they would state that as would the fire marshal when deciding the cause of the fire.

  5. I don't feel name calling is needed no matter the past of this family. What matters is there are children that will now grow up without their mother. No child should have to do that. And to say that the mother was probably drunk or whatever is unfair. No one will know until the autopsy is complete.

  6. Sorry Anne, but I don't like it when people speak unfairly of the dearly departed....no matter who they are or what their past may have been.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Im sorry, I was not trying to speak unfairly of the departed.. Anne herself said they were not good neighbors when she lived next door to them.. at that time this lady was not even there.. I was actually referring to the man and the original family living next door to her at that time.

If you took offense I apologize.

I still do not understand the underlying need to yell, " foul play" unless of course there are reasons like drug abuse or alcohol abuse. Which fair or unfair.. is what I have been noticing many doing here.. If a person is a drug addict or alcoholic then they die from a related reason.. sad that it may be.. it does not deter the fact that much of it was brought upon themselves.

The possiblity still stands that if she did not hear the child screaming next to her.. if she did not wake when shaken.. then either she was already dead, drunk or had taken a sleeping medication that would not let her awaken.

  8. Sorry to hear your back is still giving you probs and I hope it soon gets better..

Sounds like you had some great help yesterday ..Ask them if they wanna come do mine ???

I can see what you mean by the c and v but I guess I just got use to using the copy and paste with my mouse

    ReplyDelete
  9. It's not anyone is hollering "foul play". That's why they are waiting for the full autopsy report. It will tell whether there was a reason outside of the fire that caused her death. Anyone can die of a heart attack at any age. It doesn't necessarily mean that drugs/alcohol were involved. I hope they find out what actually happened and what the cause of the fire was as well so the children can have some kind of closure...if that's even possible for children as young as the ones the mother left behind.

  10. Sweet Beep,
    STOP MAKING ME LAUGH.
I am not sure if Sputty did anything yesterday. (Besides fall in love with Jenny all over again). Where he was then I have no clue. But there poor Jenny was laughing hysterically...

Now as far as these 'people' go. (I stretch my compassionate side to call them that). It was really nasty to live next door to them.
No. Wrong. NOT nasty. It was hell. PURE HELL.
And I am laughing at the "white trash" moniker too.
Suffice to say that that house saw it share of drunk druggies. (Yet in all honesty, I always credited the first 'woman' for that).

    XOXO

  11. Sweet Pam;
I know that even children die of heart attacks. Maybe she awoke and THEN passed out from fear. We just don't know yet.
I wasn't sure about whether or not the coroner could tell for sure about the smoke inhalation process either.
I don't know if they always state that they might be thinking foul play with an open investigation.
They haven't even told us what the fire marshal even came up with.

    XOXO
    Me

  12. Oh Pam,
I don't think anyone has gotten past the fact that there are 4 motherless children involved.
But people do not become saints just because they die or lose an estranged spouse.
Know that the 2 people that lived next door to us WERE "white trash"- for lack of not calling them much much worse.

Do I feel badly for the children? Yes I do.

And perhaps I have a bit of an edge, having lived there for so long. But bad people are bad people.
    Yes, it was her "time".
And no that does not make him a murderer. But in my book it sure doesn't make him any less suspicious either.
It still gives me the creeps.

You are right about waiting for the autopsy.

  13. Thanks Sweetie,
Never apologize for stating your opinions on my blogs.
You know me much better than that. But knowing how we lived, (the fact that I had children made no never mind to them), I have to call them same as Morysa has.

  14. Well, the only one that would really be able to say whether it was foul play or not would be the fire marshal. He/she knows all the ins and outs of finding the cause, whether it was "natural" causes such as electrical or what not or whether there's evidence of an accelerant. The presence of an accelerant would be cause to say the fire was suspicious and foul play may be suspected. I watch alot of crime shows can ya tell? Besides both my cousins are with the fire department back home, one being the fire chief and their dad before them was a career fireman and fire chief too. The fire marshal investigation could take as little as a few hours to up to several days before he/she can determine the cause.

  15. Sweet Beep,
This Christine had moved in before we moved out, but I never did get to know her.
What I do know is that after his first woman moved out I only had to call the cops once- (A naked brawl in their backyard).

I do not even know if the woman smoked, and maybe fell asleep smoking a cigarette?
(Again, not sure, but I think the fire marshal would have found that out already)?
JT might know that. Please ask him?

  16. I really should read up on the story in more detail. I guess it's not possile she died trying to save her children. Maybe when I get back tonight I can read the news feeds.

Hope you are taking care of yourself.

  17. Sweet Carolyn;
My back feels as I would imagine shrapnel to feel.
(I am surprised I do not hear it creaking like the Tin Man in "The Wizard of Oz")...
    hehehe
    No wait. That's not funny.

Oh I was SO mad when my little entry disappeared. I shall try not to make THAT boo~boo again.

  20. They said on the news that the 2 youngest had not been told about their mothers death. The 2 oldest kids know.
All the kids are staying with their aunt and uncle.

And I know this sounds almost reprehensible, but I would like that "closure" too.
And believe me, nobody wants to be wrong more than me right now.

  21. I hear you on the crime shows. I watch them too, but I guess I don't pay as close attention as I should. hehehe
It's been since Thursday- You might think we would have heard more by now.

The electrical codes of the 70's (when the house was erected) were already such that all new constructions required the 220 wiring.
I know that because Pa saw that coming and rewired this house in the late 60's. (Well most of it anyway)- I do have a few fuses yet.

  22. Sweet Oka;
There isn't too much to read up on yet.
Posted on one of the stories is this tidbit. "Husband had at least one domestic abuse charge on record, OPEN STILL from 2002?
Twice in January, the 14th and the 29th of 2009, there was an issuance of temporary restraining order-domestic abuse, unidentified petitioner.Minors perhaps?
Hypothetically this would explain why the children are not staying with their father.
I have not looked past the fact that this was tragic, and children lost parents, there is quite obviously an in depth investigation."
    end quote.

    Makes ya think.

I promise I am taking care of myself. I am just not doing it too quickly or painlessly.
    hehehe

  23. Sweet Pea;
    Jenny is the BEST!
And of all of Caseys friends from high school Jenny has been the only one who has remained steadfast in her love and support. Not once has she even turned away because her best friend was hooked up to machines, pumps, or other medical equipment.
(And if she ever wanted to turn away, or show revulsion or fear she did a beautiful job of hiding it).
    That's what friends do.
I have a sneaking suspicion that it was terribly hard for Jenny when Casey had her TP/AIT surgery and she couldn't be there.

I do feed the dog. Was hard for a while, but Casey and Jenny made a makeshift food holder on the kitchen table for Punks food yesterday. I don't have to bend to get to it.
Punk actually had a squeak toy in her mouth she was trying to keep from Casey. (It had previously been in Jennys sock)...
    hehehe

4 fookin' disks Pea! I thought 'maybe' one... That's just ridiculous if ya ask me.
And I tried to think of a name for it- If there were 3, I could call it "The Stooge Factor"
All I could come up with was eeny meeny minee mo.
    And that's just not right.

  28. Hi Mommy!

BRRRR!!!! When is that weatherman going to be done with the winter forecasts??? I think you should write him a letter... Maybe it will wake him up and he'll get the seasons right! Hee hee hee

What a wonderful picture of Jenny and I! I love how that turned out... Can't wait to see all the other ones you captured yesterday... That was very entertaining and fun! I'm glad we were able to help. We didn't do that bad on the pictures on the wall, huh? :D I'm glad they turned out!

I'm so sorry about your entire entry disappearing. I have done that more times than I can count... I was going to mention the "undo" shortcut at "CTRL z" but that's already been done... I know how extremely frustrating that is to spend lots of time working on something only to lose it...

Hopefully it won't do that to you next time...

    I love you MUCH MUCH!

  29. First of all I need to mention that not only should people not be taking pictures at 5am, but they shouldn't even be up - unless they've not gone to bed yet.

    Secondly - get well.

  31. JT says yes they would know almost immediately.. it leaves a very specific burn pattern and believe it or not the filter does not burn. Normally the person will die from smoke inhalation.. he also says that its very strange.. 2 people can be in the same room and one will die from the smoke and the other may not.
If the point of origin was in the bedroom then that should be obvious as well.

Then the question comes if the point of origin was in the bedroom then why did the child survive and why was the daughter able to get the baby out? (my question not his)

  32. It's even been cold down here too. It's what we call "blackberry winter" - when we get a low dip in the temps (around freezing) when the blackberry bushes are in flower.

Just curious. In the picture of Casey, Jenny and Punk there's a picture hanging on the wall behind them that looks like an areial photo of "the farm" - is that what that is? I'd love to see that picture bigger.

I've been so busy working (I worked 52 hours last week, 40 hours at the hotel and 12 at a new job.) that I must have missed the info you posted about your back. Did you find out you're problem is with 4 discs? No wonder you're in such pain!

About the fire. I'm sure something the Fire Marshall and Coroner are looking into is the possibility that she was murdered and the fire was deliberately set to cover it up. I feel sorry for the kids, but maybe, just maybe, they'll end up with a better life than they had before.

  33. Casey and Jenny are adorable :)

I'm sorry your back is still "fookin' raunchy". It sounds like some extensive damage there dear :(

It was a chilly sunday here too but waking to a cool 38 here this morning was worse....it wont last...temps clinbing into the 80's by the middle of the week.

No comment on the fire today....I'm just curious to see what (if any) updates are released in the matter.

Hug yourself for me. Be careful with the back, hugs shouldnt hurt :)

  34. Gotta love Jenny and Casey for coming and helping ya out... They're AWESOME!

Hopefully all questions will be answered soon reguarding the fire and the death of that woman...

The weather was nice here this weekend but Monday started off cool with rain showers :(

Please take care of yourself... I know it's bothering you not being able to do what you want/need to do...

    Love Ya!

  35. I am also waiting on the fire details but I will say this....if that man set fire and/or did something to that woman with those kids IN the house......they best throw him under the jail. The kids being there is the main thing making me think as sorry as his ass might be, he might not be involved at all.
