[My] Life in Wisconsin

The Trip. The Tree. (And The Tale of Them Both).

The butt of what we didn't need...
.
.
Good Morning Everyone, and Happy Weekend too!
As you know by now, Casey had a very happy conclusion when she saw Dr. Sutherland-
NO MORE INSULIN!  (Still thanking God for that)...

But there were a few other things that caught my camera's attention for one reason or another...

After she was done, we saw these 2 guys were working hard.

Concrete is heavy heavy work
....

.
Or maybe I should say, "HARDLY WORKING?
.
.
Cnv0645
hehehe
Just send the other guy away and whip out a book!
No way to tell what this obvious foreman was reading either.
.
.
But I did wonder if he was the one holding up 6 miles of oncoming traffic?
.
.

.
.
Then there was THIS place...
.
.
Cnv0641
C'mon- You have to pull in...
hehehe

Whew! `It was a gas station, and NOT a front for a whorehouse.

(Or maybe it was where that guy bought his book)?

.
.
.
.
Not really wanting to relieve ourselves at that station, (would YOU HAVE?); we opted for the next "Park and Potty" (rest stop) up the road...

Even Punk needed a bit of relief.

Obviously stumped, (no pun intended), she had to ask...

" But Mama, what IS it? "

I, very s-l-o-w-l-y, explained to her it was a "TREE"...
hehehe
.
.

She was SO happy that she saw a tree,
that she just HAD to take a picture.

Casey is such a little kid sometimes.  Now that she has my old camera, she takes many pictures too.  (She just never gets around to uploading them).

A car wash at Shell to remove all the illegal alien bugs...
And to allow us to see out just a little bit

More catching up in a bit-
Unless Casey pulls in. (Then I'll probably get beat up for telling y'all about the "tree"). hehehe

Love to all!

XOXO
Me

Now let's see how soon before she gets to this blog...
hehehe

Yup, Still giggling....

  1. YYYYAAAAYYYY!!!! You're back!!!! I have SO missed this.

I guess after you send the peon off the "boss" gets to loaf.
I am always glad to be going in the other direction when I see those 6 mile back-ups.
I am guessing these trees are different from the common trees you have on your place. That would explain the confusion.
Punk looks so cute in her harness and posing for Casey. They are both such lovely girls.

So very, very happy that Casey doesn't have to take insulin anymore. I must have missed that one. (Does a happy dance, good thing you can't see, it's an ugly sight.)

    BIG BIG, HUGS.

  8. I had to laugh at the Kum n GO, too hilarious. Still can't help thinking better safe then sawy when it came to the restroom. Who knows, maybe the mirror was a window on the other side...

Reminds of how bad my van needs a bath, van has been sitting outside since we started prepping for the yard sale.

I've never seen a wheel barrow quite like that one. WOW, *in my best man wanting a new toy voice* I want one!

  9. Sweet Snotball~Cille!

You made me happy that you missed me!

We thought it hysterical that the boss was loafing too!
I was very happy to be going in the opposite direction, AND to be going the right way too!
Trees are the same. Casey is always 'cornf00sed'. hehehe
    Punk. Carwash.
Trust me, that wasn't a pose, (and if it was it was a prime effort on her part).

No more insulin was here: http://flintville.multiply.com/journal/item/825

There is never anything ugly about anyone dancing.
There are many uncoordinated attempts, but never ever anything ugly.

  10. Sweet Becca;
...had to let the dog out, and go up and wake Casey...

Laughing at the tree being small.
(But yeah, not too many things are smaller than she is either).

Hope you had a good one, and so sorry for not replying sooner-
When a nap calls my name, there is no ignoring it.

  11. Sweet Carolyn;
Hearing that there was no need for additional insulin was the icing on her little cake with respect to the TP/AIT (transplant).
Being out of pancreatic pain was instantaneous, and then the waiting game for her islet cells to embed in her liver and work...
Seems like SO long ago already, and yet not.

Now about the Kum and Go... We did see the pumps out front, but ya never know what they might have been dispensing either.
    hehehe

  13. Sweet Sweet SD;
    Happy you came on!

And you are SO correct- All pieces are accounted for.
I firmly believe that between Dr. Dua and Dr. Sutherland- (and one guy in Green bay here) that there MUST be a place in the world where they are hiding all of Casey's "lost" organs.
After all, they ALL mysteriously went on vacation after removing her innards. hehehe

  25. A tree, Huh? bet she would have a fit over a bush..hehe

Some great shots! I have been known to walk out of a place even though I really needed to potty because I just couldnt do it there. Makes me wonder many times how some places can be so nasty and how some folks can be so nasty. Now I am not the cleanest person in the world but dang! hehe

Speaking of which I dont think this house has been this clean in like forever! hehe Of course Im about to pass out from the bleach fumes!

  27. LOL!!! That story just makes those pictures hilarious!

Nice... Just for the record... I was taking a few close-up shots with the sun coming through the leaves of the tree... Hee hee heee.... However when Mom was editing the pics she was showing me them and after the first one, she said, "It's a tree Casey..." and put the second one up and said, "OH! A tree?? I'll take a picture of it then!" it was HILARIOUS!!! Definitely fit with the pics!

I haven't found a way to change the sizes of all of my pictures on here in one quick step so it'll be a while yet... Trying to do a little per day, as much as I can stand before my eyes go nuts! :D

When we went to/from Texas, Nyk, Jen and I stopped at a couple Kum&Go's and I thought they were hilarious! Just your average gas station with a not-so-average name!!! Hee hee hee... Wonder whose bright idea that was?!?!

Quite a shock to see that on the little blue signs before the exits... Glad it wasn't under "Lodging" though!

    Love you MUCH MUCH!
    ~Casey
