[My] Life in Wisconsin

Coming My Way Soon!

Good Morning All;
What's the weather by you?
I have written to my aunt this morning too- She lives in Philadelphia and has been dumped on with lots of rain already- Today they are to be under a heat index warning...

And uh-oh here we go... It is just now beginning to rumble, thunder, and lightning- So much for the "soon" in my title.

Casey had her 6th infusion on Monday- And boy, do I have a story to tell!  Know that she is alright though.  I will have to play "ketchup" after this has passed. Time for me to go offline now.
Have a safe, and cool, and 'wunnaful' Wednesday!

Love to all!

XOXO

  4. Hi All;
We got off real easy this morning..
A TON of rain, but nothing real dangerous. A few rumbles is all.
Dark skies on and off all day, but only a drop or 2 more, if any, after the front came through.

Days like this is how I wash my quilts.
I hung them out last night and hoped for some real good rains- We got that of course!
And I am happy to report that they are all washed, sun~dried, and back inside already.

    love to all

  6. Well aren't you lucky hanging out your washing there Anna:

PERKASIE, Pennsylvania (Reuters) – Carin Froehlich pegs her laundry to three clotheslines strung between trees outside her 18th-century farmhouse, knowing that her actions annoy local officials who have asked her to stop. Froehlich is among the growing number of people across America fighting for the right to dry their laundry outside against a rising tide of housing associations who oppose the practice despite its energy-saving green appeal.

At the moment is is a lovely 22 C or 71.6 F ( not too bad for Winter hey ) we get our moments of rain here and then and it gets down to 45 F during the night Brrrrrr, please don't fret yourself about me Anna I'll be OK LMAO
We washed a curtain today and it dried in no time at all.
All the best to you Anna

  7. We had some thunderstorms over the weekend. Its the time of year here they can blow up at a moments notice and in 5-10 mins its all steamy ..lol

Hope Casey got thru this visit without becoming a human pincushion. Drew adds a new Dr in the morning..and Infectious Disease Dr. Just what we needed 1 more Dr on our payroll..lol They did culture his foot last week and he does have a staph infection and another that I can not spell or say..
he was put on meds for that on Tuesday.

Going this weekend to get my grandsons...I haven't had them with me in over 2 yrs and I'm so excited!

    Ya'll stay safe and dry!

  8. I hate it when it is so muggy that you go outside and have to wonder where the oxygen went...

  9. I can't stand doing anything outside (besides doing my clothes etc), when the sweat just drips into my eyes.

We were quite safe. The weatherpeople thought we would not be an issued all kinds of warnings before stuff got here.

  13. My sister Mary actually bilt a home in a neighborhood with that same restrictive covenant.
How st00pid of people to say no drying laundry outside when the world is trying to green up!!!!
Who makes these rules anyway- who submits, then seconds, then allow them to actually pass???
    Idiots. That's who.

71 in Winter? That I have never seen.

  14. Those afternoon storms sure can be that way-
I was watching David Letterman last night- He commented on the heat...
"In New York City it was 89 and sultry. ... Just like Betty White." (I giggled at that).
I love her dearly (always did), and hope she has many many years of entertaining us all.

Casey is quite well- It was her nurse that was a doo-head.

I am SO happy that you are getting to spend time with your grandbabies! What a nice weekend you have to look forward too!
