[My] Life in Wisconsin

Walker's Wisconsin. (Not mine).

Good Afternoon All;
I am (kind of) sitting here with Casey as we read up and wish we didn't have to learn ANY more than we already do about this crap and lie s(h)ituation going on in our beloved state.

New State Law gives nice deal to Brookfield.
(Maybe that’s what Prosser and Walker discussed the day after the election)?

No wait, this bill was written before the election but….

Hmmmm.
Subject: gee, wasn't it Brookfield that just delivered an election to Prosser...?

Oh, yes people, WE THE PEOPLE MUST READ IT...

And what about all his unqualified campaign workers/supporters getting cushy government jobs?
Wonder if their bargaining rights are intact!

B.
The abuse of power is so blatant!  Scary!
Is it because he thinks we are so stupid.... or because he is???

Subject: hi all..

We just got the greatest news that we have collected enough signatures for calling for a recall election for our state senator, Bob Cowles.

We needed near 16,000 signatures in sixty days and have more than that now.  We feel excited to have made such progress in so little time.  What a great group of people we have met and worked with in Shawano and Green Bay.

Our neighbors in the Clintonville area have also gotten the signatures they needed for the recall of their Senator, Luther Olsen.!

Maybe now Walker and his crew will begin to think twice about ruining our schools, cutting aids to counties and reducing healthcare for our vulnerable folks and seniors.

Thanks to all for your support!
{K & J}

PS
The 1st is a note from my sister-
PLEASE read the pdf formatted link she sent
; should you wish to face a few truths...

The second is also from herself- For those of you who might think she has NO experience in dealing with these matters.
Intelligence and compassion run very high -on her side of the family. hehehe.

Funny too, re: my comments section below:
(Later) you will find out more about our 'wunnaful Wisconsin' republic.
Sorry to have to ruin your weekends with it all...

Will be back later-
Casey and I have to run to town for a while; a few home repairs that are driving me crazy to even LIVE with.

_____

Private PS to Polly;
I did receive your beautiful letter- and appreciate ALL of your own efforts on my behalf.  I promise to reply soon- (much easier just doing these short notes for now filled with a whole lot of copy/paste stuff).
We will talk on Sunday if not before...
All my love. Always.
XOXO
Me

    ‘Found’ Votes Tip Wisconsin Court Race to Walker Ally Posted By Mike Hall
    On April 8, 2011 @ 11:04 am
    In In the States, Legislation & Politics, Working Families Vote | Comments Disabled It’s not unusual in any big election for a few ballots to go missing or not get counted. But when a county clerk suddenly announces the discovery of more than 14,000 votes from an entire city two days after an election decided by just 204 votes—with more than 10,000 going to the loser—that’s hard to fathom. But Waukesha County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus (R) wants us to believe that’s what happened in the race for a seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court between incumbent and Gov. Scott Walker favorite David Prosser and JoAnne Kloppenburg, an assistant attorney general. She says the newly found votes went 10,859 to Prosser and 3,456 for Kloppenburg, giving Prosser a 7,582 margin. Yesterday, Nickolaus said that on election night, the votes for the city of Brookfield did come into the clerk’s office, but that she forgot to hit save on her personal computer she used to tally the county votes and didn’t notice the 14,000 missing votes when she turned in the county total that night. She told reporters she discovered the missing votes Wednesday but did not announce the find until yesterday. In a statement, Kloppenburg campaign manager Melissa Mulliken said: Wisconsin voters as well as the Kloppenburg (campaign) deserve a full explanation of how and why these 14,000 votes from an entire city were missed. To that end, we will be filing open records requests for all relevant documentation related to the reporting of election results in Waukesha County, as well as to the discovery and reporting of the errors announced by the county. According to The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel [1], “Nickolaus has had a long career in Republican politics” and worked in the Assembly Republican caucus during the time that Prosser, a former Republican lawmaker, served as the Assembly speaker. The Cap Times [2] in Madison also reports Nickolaus “has a history of secretive and erratic handling of election results.” Nickolaus claims that it was “human error” that caused her to “lose” the Brookfield results on her personal computer where she had secreted away the data. Yet, she apparently knew of the “mistake” for 29 hours before reporting it and then handed the information off to conservativ

    Recalled WI Republican Accidentally Mailed Phone Sex Number To Constituents Posted on April 20, 2011 by Alicia Wisconsin State Senator Randy Hopper sure thinks he’s one sexy guy. First he got caught living out-of-district with his 26-year-old mistress. And that mistress, who works for the Wisconsin government as a communications specialist, was mysteriously receiving a salary that was 35% higher than her predecessor’s. Hot. Then a strange toll-free number showed up on Hopper’s quarterly newsletter to constituents. The number, 1-888-736-8729, directs callers to 1-800-475-TALK, a hotline where guys in a hard spot pay to talk with “students, housewives, and working girls.” Wow. Just wow. At least Wisconsin’s Democratic Party chairman, Mike Tate, has a sense of humor about the whole thing: Randy Hopper won’t listen to his constituents and stand up to Scott Walker, so apparently he is sending his constituents someplace where the chat lines are still open. Here’s to your impending recall, Randy. Originally submitted by volunteer editor Brandon W. Found on Teamster Nation. Feature photo found on Teamster Nation.

  12. Posting all the pertinent information several days afer initially entering a blog kinda takes the spunk out of any previously presumed point...doesn't it.

    Anyhow, although I'm not gonna go through the discombobulation of your additions, I'm still gonna ask 'what's your point'.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Oh my goodness... I don't think I have ever required anyone to read anything.

    To answer your question 'what's my point?' ... This I have done for posterity sake.
    Kindly go look up the word posterity.
    (Hell, it's even in The Preamble to The Constitution of the United States of America).

    Or perhaps it was/IS my very 1st line that you didn't understand?
    The one where I quite clearly stated, "Oops- I forgot to post the rest of the story... hehehe"

    (Then again, one simple click on my previous entry might have given you a bit of insight as to why I do not sit in front of my computer wondering if I have offended people I don't even know)... ?

    How very sorry I am to have not been posting up to your sense of par. My deepest apologies.
    But you see, this is MY blog.
    I shall post what... ~And, WHEN I DAMN WELL FEEL LIKE IT. (Thanks for asking though).

    My further apologies that you are admittedly too confused and/or lazy to learn more about the "real" people involved.
    It is my fervent hope that you do not vote the same way you think.

    XOXO
    Anne

  16. Crap- What did I miss?
    Flags?
    Length?
    Stolen names?
    Sounds wikileaky to me...

  17. There is a Multiply group called Political Soul (that some people call Political Souls).

    Some people who didn't like it started a group called Political Souls Uncensored, which, while theoretically uncensored, limits the length of comments (yes, that was a jab at someone you know). Some of them have been involved in starting other "uncensored" versions of existing groups. For some of them, "uncensored" means "you can use the N-word here, not like in those in those groups we don't like."

    I have no idea what the flag thing was about. Nor do I know where Dr. Freakenz is in this mess, from whether he was being serious or silly to whether, if he is a member of PSU, he was in on the formation of the group as a deliberate insult to the original group (which is owned by Sanytj) or has no idea about any of that. So what I said wasn't intended to offend him, just to express my contempt for a group that was formed (or at least named) just to be snotty to people who are worthy of respect.

  18. Rather long-winded to just answer a simple question. This looks like something right out of the Huffington Post or Rachel Maddow. ....and leftists think they make sense....geesh.

    Sorry, I didn't realize that you're such a crybaby.

  19. Dear Troll;
    esad-

    I neither think small, nor write short. One brief glance anywhere within my pages would show anyone that.
    So I thank you for the compliment.

    Now kindly go back under your bridge.

    No tears involved-
    I am a bitch when it is called for.

  20. Typical elitism and belittling from the left .. . . . .somebody challenges, therefore they're labeled a troll. Leftists cannot fathom the possibility that others think differently from them.

    And btw, from the beginning I asked if you were from Wisconsin. I used to live there and your snobby-ass wouldn't last 10 minutes in the area I resided.
