[My] Life in Wisconsin

Anyone up? hehehe I hope everyone had a Gr-r-r-eat Daddies Day! As for me, I am still barfing- (I have a Dr. appt later this morning). Oh, I am just soooo tired. I have also decided *not* to get my pain pump implant. It seems to be wrong for me for right now. And I generally do listen to my guts. News and doppler is showing me that we have more than a few HUGE storms coming too. We are soaked already!! S/W states are dry as an old bone. somebody has to point these nasty clouds southward. Oh, maybe I shall try to nap a bit before these storms get here. XOXO, Me

  2. Not sure about you Heidi, but with the exception of Sweet Pea and Pamela, I don't think anyone on my friends list will stay dry today.
    hehehe

Looks like we will miss the brunt of this first storm line...
    Fingers crossed.

  6. Hi Anna and yep I'm finally up, What a lovely photo that is truly,. You sound very sick indeed the last post I saw of yours had the dreaded "C" word in it and I do worry about your health mate. I to have been very ill Anna upchucking my lil heart out here feeling very weary indeed just like yourself and only done one quick post and answered a few of peoples and that's all I could do but I hope I'm on the mend now. We are in winter now and have days of 60 F with strong winds. Volcano dust closing a few airports but people are taking it well.
All the best Anna hope you feeling better sooner than later mate

  10. Sweet Judy-
UGH! I won't trade you temps- (I think our "high" today was about 70).
But I sure would share some of this rain. Gratefully too.

My daughter lives in Texas- Called last night and said her temps had been over 100 for the last 3 weeks.
    GROSS!

  11. Oh! My Sweet Snotball-
Between you and ScootchieBaby, I promise you that those calls mean the world to me. (I can even live on them for a while)... But not too long, you hear?! hehehe

Soooo, what was the "buzzing" from? Did you ever get to figure that out?
Funny too, that every time my dryer buzzes- which I hate, now I think of you!
    hehehehehehe

  12. Sweet Anne,

I will call more often, just to make you smile. (((((HUG)))))

The "chiming" was me not pushing the right buttons in the right order, LOLOLOL.

I love you!!! I'm glad I can make you smile.

  13. Mr. lester;
They haven't ruled anything out yet-
At any rate, please do not ever worry about my health that way.
... Because when you get down to it, I do firmly believe that we "chose" these paths, LONG before we ever even came [back] here.
Wondering now WHAT THE HELL I WAS THINKING??? (And what my other options must have been that I would have chose all this shit?!
    hehehe

They have had coverage on the news about all that ash floating over your way. Do you at least cover your face so you are not breathing it in when you go outside?

I *am* a bit better tonight- But methinks that might only be because of the ZOFRAN, (ondansetron hcl), she gave me today. I slept (napped) all afternoon, and I still need a nap! (Methinks that's from not having any 'fuel' stay down for 4 or 5 days now).
But hey, the soup I had for lunch did! (Say "YAY!").

Winds here kicked up a few times today too- (on again, and off again, storms still stuck over Wisconsin).

I will get to your post the next time I wake up, as very shortly I will need to go sit again.

    XOXO
    Me

    PS
I can't even begin to imagine "Winter"- and a 60 degree temperature...
Wind or not, this "Frozen Tundra" friend of yours would take that over 30 below zero any day of the year!
    hehehe

  14. I can remember driving home from my daughters housewarming party.
Keep in mind that, as the crow flies, where they lived was about 5 miles north of here.
At the party we got a bit of rain- (a "bit")??? <--- we actually got quite soaked-

Anyway, coming home there was a line, straight across the road- about a mile north of here- They got rain. I got nothing here.

Even in Winter, i can talk to Casey on the phone and mention how much snow we got, while Green Bay gets none...
    Weird how that happens.

    XOXO
    me

    PS
I tried to send you that hail I was getting on Sunday past when we talked-.
    Guess I overshot my target...
    hehehe

  15. Oh yes ma'am you DO make me smile, but if you don't mind, I am still going to think of your new washer every time my dryer buzzes!

What noise does your dryer make, if your washer does the buzzing???
(Nothing like driving people crazy, right)?! hehehe

    Love right backatcha! ~< ;-)

  16. Keeping fingers crossed for tonight- and the rest of the darn week too-

  19. Hope you are feeling better. We are sweltering here on the Gulf coast. I'm staying in and out of the heat as much as possible. Having no AC in my car helps with that decision...lol As I don't like peeling my fat a** off my front seat. : D
Soup sounds good. I'm headed to bed as I have to have the hubby at the Drs at 6:15am..for an endoscopy. I hope I can find a comfy chair to nap in..lol
Take care...send any unwanted rain southward...we will take it.
    xoxo me

  20. Aim those storm clouds toward New Mexico! Its so dry here its pathetic. They say rains will be here by the end of this month. They say! Ha! We'll see.

Hope you are feeling a bit better today. Gosh I hate those nausea and barfing times. How is Casey and Gregg doing? I need to do some update reading to find out don't I.

  21. Sweet Denise;
We are to [maybe] get to about 67 today- My weather alerts tell me that you will still be hot.
With the exception of Sweet Pea and Sault Ste Marie, MI, it seems as though all my friends will be cooked today. Nasty that-

We had the same yesterday, but got overheated anyway when the humidity kicked in. Humidity, which was NOT in the forecast- (the weatherman apologized for that this morning)! hehehe
I flipped the A/C on but late, and have a headache today.
I would NOT do well in your temps.
Daughter Jenné in TX, has told me that she has gotten "used to it"...
I promise I would never adapt to your temps or hers. UGH.

    XOXO

  22. Sweet PeachieBaby!
I owe you a long overdue thank you! And you know what for!!!
THANK YOU for thinking of me and brightening my day!

I remember a few drought conditions around here- So dry you can't even spit...
When it breaks though, it breaks in a fury.

Casey was about 1 or 2 the last time it was like that, and that bad- When it finally rained, even though there were storm warnings, we ALL went out and danced in the downpour.

As for Casey and Greg, they are OK- They went out to eat with Greg's sisters last night at Pasquale's; and hopefully had a blast. She emailed shortly after ten last night when they got home that she will be here this morning before ten.

It is SO dark!!! Another storm I don't think- But a dark sky with openhearted clouds --- AGAIN.
Everything was wet when I let Punk and Sput out at 5. If it stormed I slept right thru it. Nice that.

Methinks you gals are going to have to come and get that rain. It is not listening to me.

    XOXO
    Me

As is par for the course, I am now fending off a bloody migraine because of yesterdays humidity...
