[My] Life in Wisconsin

Got to run for today. Casey sick- and needs blood. Not sure what will happen as she damn near died in MPLS with such an allergic reaction... She has been given some kind of iron elixir to take, but is so afraid to... (Wasn't even given an Epi-pen in case of any reaction). She awaits a call back from the nurse. Gotta fly offline now- XOXo, Me

  6. Ohhhhhhh! You are all so very sweet to think of her, - and myself - (and Greg too).

She did call her doctor, and since she has a blood test on Friday afternoon, they will give her the elixir right at the lab.
She is to wait there all afternoon then while the doctors are there. (If needed they can transport her through the ambulance bay).

This week, the week from hell as far as doctor appointments go so please keep us in mind.

I do worry more for her, as my own biggest problem is pain. Hers, once again, *can be* life threatening; though at this point her numbers are still high enough that they are double what they were when she 1st begun her infusions.

OH! What WILL I do with her?
    hehehe

  7. Just checked my email-

Yup. She sure wasn't feeling good last night-

    5:40pm
"Nope, pain is too bad right now. Greg is already telling me to get back to sleep before I turn into Crazy Casey on you both again. Ugh. Why does this has to happen when I had plans with you both tonight? Ugh this sucks. But know that I love you so very MUCH MUCH!

    6:34pm
" Was able to eat a bit and so far it's staying down in spite of my awful GI tract behavior right now. Tomorrow I'll come out come hell or high water or diarrhea or pain! And I'll stay the night spending Wednesday with you as well. I'll keep you posted as to how I'm doing tonight. I don't think it's anything major but Greg said he'd check on me while I sleep to make sure a fever doesn't break out. He'll bring me in should that happen. We'll let you know if it does. Love you MUCH MUCH!"

    7:21pm
"Also wanted to make sure you know to call immediately if you are worried or scared or just need to talk. For I am here for you always, if not literally then in full spirit. I'll keep you posted and will head over as soon as I'm able to do so. I love you very MUCH MUCH! I'm sorry I've been stopped by my own body and have failed you tonight..."

    ????

Her blood is low. Her pain level, HIGH.
    This is hard.
I will call her before she thinks to head out here this morning- She was going to go to the doctor appointment with me... (My 1st of 4 for the week).
    Crap and dammitall.

    Love to all.

  8. She was just saying the other day that she didn't feel "right". I see she didn't listen to me telling her to take it easy, rest herself, and get in to see her doctor... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Can she get better so I can kick her butt?

    XOXOXOOXOX

    Love to you both.

  9. It's hard to look after another person when you yourself feel just as bad with your own health problems. May God give you all the strength you need for one another.

Still giving big Hugs and Prayers!

  10. yeah.... this is what I was telling the momster when she was running herself into the ground taking care of CaseyAnne and then again to my darling sis as she promptly turned around and did the same thing...

You can not stop those two.

  11. Yeah- i didn't think she would listen to me either when I told her to go in. (I think Polly told her also).
She can't *not* listen to the three of us, can she?

I am going to giggle at the image of you trying to0 kick her butt.
No, But(t) wait, she's short too.
hehehe - Yeah, it'll be fun to watch this one...

  12. I did what I could.
    Really.
Just that after this last January trip to Minnesota, and well after we got home, I did tell her that I can't take her there anymore.

I have yet another doctor appointment today. A new guy, and she will come out about noon. (She is very quick on the trigger to realize when/IF someone is yanking my chain).
She is bright. Not always articulate though, but she gets that from me. We get mad and can still get our point across, just that sometimes...
    hehehe
Reminds me of that last doctor I told to leave a month or so ago. (I have yet to see his bill turn up on my insurance copies).

    XOXO
