My Resolutions for 2012

Good Morning All;
And Merry New Year too.
I had 2 resolutions for this new year.
Sorry to say I have broken them both already.

And that is, "the rest of the story"

  3. I don't makeresolutions anymore. It always turns out that I forget them or break them. So I just try and live the best way I can and leave it at that.

  4. One of them were of mind over matter.
    1. was to never ever have another migraine. (Should have meditated over it longer).
and the 2nd one was to listen to my doctor(s).
I woke this morning with bile rising, and unable to even barely lift my neck, let alone get to the bathroom to barf...

Now... My doctors tell me I am not to shovel snow. So people tell me they will come and shovel.
After our last snow, no one came and it never got done 'til I did it.
As you can see by the pic above, it is snowing.
I have gone out and shoveled twice so far.
(Damn fine thing that I have an appt on Tuesday to get 6 more shots to my back).
Now that the wind has kicked in, it's pretty shitty out there now, so next time I will have to wear a coat.

    XOXO

  12. I stopped making resolutions years ago when I realized they were usually never going to be fulfilled. The only one I EVER made and actually did, was to read my Bible every night till I completely read it from cover to cover. I may not have understood every word of what I read, but it sure felt good to have finished "something" that I committed myself to on that day.
Plus, I have always heard that if you make yourself do something for 30 days in a row, it will pretty much become a habit. And you have to strictly do it EVERY day during that 30 days too. The hard part, seven days into something I usually slack off then stop. So, lol, I slacked off on resolutions till I stopped doing them. Hey...it did work!

  13. I don't make resolutions. . . Although I DO have a couple goals for the year.

Please be careful shoveling. I would say to not do it at all, but I know you are stubborn and will do it any way.

Happy new year Annie! Take care of you!

    Love to you,

    Slurkie
