[My] Life in Wisconsin

I don't know who said it, but it makes a heart soar- especially for those of us facing degenerative and mortal diseases... "Never trade the thrills of living for the security of existence". Pretty good, huh? I will be offline for the majority of the day as I am waiting for my pain doctor to call me in response to a letter I wrote to him. Grrr... It wasn't pretty, but hey, that's why I blog, right? hehehe And I promise to get better at doing so, as soon as I can get around the damned pain anyway. My love to all. XOXO, Me

  2. Quality over quantity means a lot too. I would rather live a short life filled with living than to live a long life and not live at all. And yet....I will have to just endure it one way or the other.

  3. I heard nothing.
I don't know whether to be angry, or hurt.
The fact is that I need to be seen again.
i will call tomorrow for that.
But one thing is for sure, i will never allow anyone to treat me like dirt, and I don't care who he is, or what his credentials might be.

    XOXO

  4. You have said it exactly right -
There is a huge difference between young and dead, having LIVED; and old and regretful for not experiencing/seeing what might have made all the difference.
    The [age] numbers mean nothing.

  5. It's possible that whoever opens the mail didn't pass it on or that he's speechless with shame. Make your appointment and tell him in person. I hope he can get your pain under control and that once again you can sit at the computer for hours and enjoy the little things that surround you and make existence worthwhile.

  6. Welcome Miss Loretta!
that would be an option; save for the fact that Casey brought the letter in, gave it to Judy and watched her hand ti to my doctor.

I will call as soon as I can this morning-

    XOXO
    me

    PS
I love the "speechless with shame"...

  7. Hope by now you have gotten some response from the Dr. More importantly that you have gotten back in and they have gotten your pain back under control. Maybe a letter to the State Medical Board would bring some needed light to the certain Dr's uncalled for bedside manner and practice.

If I was closer I'd come jump all over him for you....as I have not had a Dr to chew out in quiet sometime....lol (mostly because the ones I've done it to here either avoid me or have better sense now than to cross me...lol )

    Hugs! ME
