The New York attorney general is investigating whether some of the nation’s biggest private equity firms have abused a tax strategy in order to slice hundreds of millions of dollars from their tax bills.
Schneiderman is doing the right thing and should be supported in every way.
I would be very surprised very much Anna if the firms mentioned are clean, we as people work very hard to get our money and save what we can in the banks or under the matress so to speak "Your 401K" there and our "Superanuation" here, we pay our taxes which we don't really mind because by doing so we hellp our countries to run. However when the greed of big companies, big bussinesses and individuals cheat us as people by hiding what they pay or should pay then they are cheating and stealing from the not only the country but from us as individuals who are left to pick up their tab. I have been banking as I call it with the Fedrel Gov for over twenty years now and always reap the rewards in Aug each year I do it by paying Thousands in taxes above and beyond what is expected of me, that way I am not taxed on what I have given them twice or three times
