  1. "What kind of nation is it that spends far more to kill enemy combatants than to help its own citizens living below the poverty line; that permits corporations to hold sick children hostage while parents frantically bankrupt themselves to save their sons and daughters; that abandons its unemployed while it spends its treasury on behalf of speculators; that ignores due process to torture and assassinate its own citizens; that tosses its mentally ill on urban heating grates?" 2. It's greed. Those who have the comforts of wealth want to keep it at all cost. The rest us don't matter to them because they know they have control. We are the puppets and they are the puppet-masters.
And because they are getting bored with controlling just "us" they branch out to other nations in order to spice up their boredom. (That's my version in a nutshell!) lol
Our world could be facing some major changes soon. All the things I have been reading has me thinking we may just be headed in the direction of a big revolt. People are tired of suffering needlessly at the hands of the wealthy and the political folks who use lies to get what they want. We are getting very close to when that proverbial "poop" will be hitting the fan!

Anne, how is Casey doing lately? How are YOU doing lately?

I've been trying to find myself a new blogging site. Can't say I'm real Happy with any of them. They all seem so confusing. But...it took a while to even get use to Multiply. Have you another site already? I know you have been far too busy to be huntin' and pickin'.

  4. A very ignorant one Anna, there are problems like this in a lot of countries, ours included, Govenments should look away from themselves for a change and their "Me, me it's all me and the money I can collect for my nestegg" books and open their eyes and look at the people and see them as a natural resorse
"The Country" because without people there is no country.
Just one soldiers wage here would be able support atleast three proverty ridden families.

  6. It is greed. But it goes way deeper than simple greed...

Why then do they expect the middle class (which IS America), to take their beatings- time and time and time again?
Greed or no, wisdom, time, and education *should* make a difference.

No one wants to take away from them.
Only that these rich and greedy bastards pay their own. JUST LIKE WE DO.

Odd though that they are unbending, unfeeling, uncaring, and downright cruel to expect everyone else to pay for them...
No, not 'odd'. It is pathetic.
