[My] Life in Wisconsin

Is It Done Yet?

Babys Breath at Sunrise...

Good Morning All;
Sunday already... I have been busy around here for the last darn week, and yet I cannot see much progress.
Why is that?

So the answer to my title today is a fat, resounding, "no
".

Having gotten outside this morning, I got to watch the skies brighten a bit.
.

.

Taken from the south side of the garden...

.

.

Taken from the old birdbath...
...just a few moments later.

.

.

While Punk and I walked around; a noisy, (and obviously very upset bird) was chirping at us quite loudly...
.

.

Look closely and you can see his eyes!

.

.

And so life goes on.
I have a TON if wash to get done today... and to 'find' my house too.
Fell asleep quite early, (after taking my Xanax to go to town with Kelli earlier yesterday afternoon). Slept til 11, and have been up ever since.
Maybe I shall go lie back down for a bit.
The grass is overgrown; (here and at Kelli's), and I will try to get to that today too.

..

After our stop at Petco, we stopped over at Casey and Greg's new place.
.

.

They are just SO cute!
(And yes, that was a 'live' bear at one point)...

I'd better close for now.
Have a fan~dang~tastic Sunday!

XOXO

  1. And people think MY sleep schedule if funky! LoL Hey you sleep when you can, right?
I will have to go over to see more pics of Casey's place. I love it when people move into new digs. It's all so clean & fresh & full of possibilities!
And don't worry, you'll finish your projects.
Now if I could just get something done around here> Like that damned floor. I'm almost ready to mix mud myself to get that last corner glued down !!
    I married a procrastinator ** Heavy Sigh**

  2. Hiya Sweet Bug!
    Hysterical at your mud...
(and after yesterday afternoon, I have plenty of that for you)!
I just wanted my projects to be all done by now is all.
My head and my back are stubborn and uncooperative, and I am so tired of that.

    Tired? Yes. I am

  3. Mornin Bart,

Sorry your not getting everything done like you wanted.. but sometimes it just "bee's" that way ..
Remember patience is a virtue.. Yeah I know.. Im not a real patient woman either. I think youve just had too much rain. Did that here last year too... and our garden sucked.. to say it nicely. Then of course we had the deer helping themselves, and that didnt help atall!
Actually this year... its ok.. but I dint have high hopes for it ... and there have been issues too. Bugs and weeds ..andddd well you name it. hehe I shall be glad when we can actually get moved here and JT can actually take care of it like it should be.

I see you are getting your days and nights mixed up once again. Better living thru chemicals..hehe But you got some wonderful pics of the sun rise. That would be the upside right?

Casey and Greg are a very cute couple. I havent been checking updates lately ... I will head on over shortly to check her page out.

    Wishing you a wonderful Sunday!

    Mucho hugs

  6. Well, I guess I don't feel so bad now. I'm not getting near the things done this weekend that I wanted to. I just don't have the energy and haven't since I had that damnable tooth pulled almost a week ago--though I did sleep through the night last night for the first time since going to the dentist. I just feel totally drained and I have way to much to do to just be laying around doing nothing but what can I do? My body isn't cooperating.

Casey looks soooo happy. I will have to venture over to check out her page. Hope everything works out well for her.

  7. Oh Sweet Beep;
I'd wanted to have everything done, or at least in order, by the 1st...
    Not going to happen.
The deeper I dig, the more time I use up... And it IS a vicious circle!
Spent HOURS going through a bunch of very old coins the other day...
(Think part of that squinting is what set off my head). Maybe?

Giggled at JT having to tkae care of it too!

Days and nights are definitely mixed up here.
But I did nap- til almost noon!
Woke to light rain (of course).
Skies seem to be brightening up now though... Hope so. (But hell, like i said, there is plenty to get done INside). Just NO energy for it...

It was even a bit nippy outside this morning.
Thankful that I'd worn the leather tennis shoes instead of the canvas ones; everything was so damp.
I had to set the camera on the old cart near the garden (so my hands didn't move it) as it captured that picture. Someday I will get a tripod.
    hehehe

You (both) have a wonderful Sunday too!

  10. Sweet Pam!

Don't feel bad. If I hadn't set a deadline, I wouldn't feel so bad about it.
As it is now though everything is so turned inside out...
    Mad about that...

Happy you got to sleep through the night finally.
Maybe a tad jealous too! hehehe

I am also glad that so many are heading over to Caseys pages... She LOVES comments!
    as we all do!

  11. What a bunch of hoo~hah...

I just pulled up our local radar... And it shows nothing.

Therefore, NOTHING is falling on my head if I go outside.

    Yeah, right.
    wth?

  12. Maybe the radar needs some eye glasses!!! Just visited Casey's page and their place looks wonderful!

THEN I shall head over there and take many blackmail pictures!
No. On second thought, I'd better not.
I would DIE if someone did that to me today/tomorrow/the next day... etc

  16. Bad Mommy...very bad Mommy...to even think of taking blackmail pictures. Shamey, shamey. hehehe

Speaking of pictures...love yours. I seldom see a sunrise around here anymore as I no longer have to get up before the rooster to get to work on time. Miss the pay, not the work.

I've already been to Casey's blog...what a super apartment! I'd love to have all of that room as well as storage space...especially in the closet area. At least I have two finished rooms in the attic for the overflow.

Now leaving to fix a pot of either coffee or tea...haven't decided.
