  2. To all Parents Edgar Guest

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    "I'll lend you for a while a child of mine," He said.
    "For you to love the while he lives and mourn for when he's dead.
    It may be six or seven years, or twenty-two or three,
    But will you, till I call him back, take care of him for me?
    He'll bring his charms to gladden you, and should his stay be brief,
    You'll have his lovely memories as solace for your grief."
    "I cannot promise he will stay; since all from earth return,
    But there are lessons taught down there I want this child to learn.
    I've looked the wide world over in My search for teachers true
    And from the throngs that crowd life's lanes I have chosen you.
    Now will you give him all your love, not think the labor vain,
    Nor hate Me when I come to call to take him back again?"
    "I fancied that I heard them say, "Dear Lord, Thy will be done!
    For all the joy Thy child shall bring, the risk of grief we run.
    We'll shelter him with tenderness, we'll love him while we may,
    And for the happiness we've known, forever grateful stay;
    But should the angels call for him much sooner than we've planned,
    We'll brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand!"
  8. Prayers going up as we speak!!! They can do wonderful things now with premature babies. My granddaughter was born three months premature and only weighted two and a half pounds. She's called a miracle baby to the doctors and nurses that took care of her. She was never on a ventilator, was out of the incubator in six weeks and home shortly after that. So, keep good thoughts!
    And many thanks for your prayers...
    Sam will have a feeding tube put in tomorrow.
    They have removed the breathing tube already.
    Spoke to Roberta a few moments ago, as she was getting wheeled back from NICU.
    I have just put Master Gabriel to bed, (hope he stays there)...
    And I will be sleeping soon too.
    Hopefully.
    Gods Blessings...
  18. Oh and Roberta herself was 7 and a half weeks early. I had placenta previa with her.
    She was not classified by her weight though as she was born weighing 5#, 13 oz.
    I have a little video if Sam, but cannot post it here... Perhaps I will figure out how to email it.
    Just not tonight.
    XOXO
    Me
  24. Heavenly Father you are the ultimate healer, we ask Lord that you keep Baby Sam well and that you bless his life Lord. We thank you Lord for the miracles you have already done. We lift Roberta up to you Lord, as these coming days she will need your support to hold her up and make her strong. We also ask Lord that you be with Gabriel at this time when his mommy is in the hospital and Lord keep Anna and Kasey safe in your arms. Thank you Jesus for all you do. Amen
