[My] Life in Wisconsin

Pray. (Update 7:16 PM in comments).

Good Morning Everyone;
Being lazy, not to mention short of time I shall just redirect you a bit.
I could not have said this any better.
Please click here and visit Peachie's site.

Thank you Peachie- (and for the offered shoulder too).

And to EVERYONE who has sent their love and Faith to us both (all) in this time of such overwhelming, conflicting, and raw emotion.
Your friendships mean the world to me.

PRAY.

Time for me to fly.

All my love.

XOXO
Anne

  4. Many thanks to you all for this wonderful sacred, and precious gift of friendship.

I am back at the hotel room now-
Am going to say a few prayers- and maybe nap. (Because I am very good at falling asleep when I pray).
These last few days have been a real bear to try to sleep, so maybe...

Greg has my cell phone in his room and has promised to come get me as soon as the hospital calls. They have assured us they will call with any updates.

So, I have no surgery news as of yet- I promise to let you know when I know something.

Know too that Casey will be in surgery all day and there is a possibility we won't even see her until 2AM tomorrow (Friday).

    So keep those prayers coming.

    My love to you all.

    XOXO

  5. Praying for DEAR CASEY!!!
I am anxious and nervous and excited and scared for her....can't wait to hear more!

  6. I believe I am re~energized!

As of 10:59, Caseys pancreas is out!!!
Oh, I can't believe this went so fast already. (By comparison, Mr. McCabes removal wasn't complete until 2:30pm- His surgery beginning at the same time).
I hope that is a good sign.

Now it is a matter of doing the biopsies on it, and isolating and removing her islet cells...
Then transplanting them into her liver.
This process (isolating and transplanting) will be at least another 4 hours.

    Keep praying please.

    XOXO

    Sorry I didn't leave a message earlier.
I was trying to write my own blog,

I'll keep checking back for more news.

  9. Good to hear that things are moving along better than normal for this type of surgery. But Anne, I still feel so much anxiety and worry for Casey. I know this feeling is at least 100 times greater for you. I hope you have been able to rest a little. Then be there by Casey's bedside when she wakes up.

Can't wait to hear more of the updates. Prayers still continue for you all.

  10. Hi All;

The hospital has called once again-
Casey "should be" out of surgery by 5...
We will be there when she opens her eyes.

And I will let you all know how it goes...

Keep those prayers coming. Busy as Heaven is right now during this Holy Season, someone up there is listening and hearing.
(And with voices such as all of ours, how could it be any different)?

    Love to you ALL.

    XOXO
    Anne

And now, to wait to see how she is as she wakes.
I am still all too nervous. My stomach is in knots.
I can only imagine Annie, how you are doing,
but those prayers are going out for all of you still.

    Keep us posted.

Much love and hugs and blessings ~ Susan XOXOXO
