Track Marks

I don't know what varmint left these weird tracks in the snow...
.
.
Good Morning All.

It is late for me to be posting; and I have been busy getting ready for this next snowstorm. (I think Pete Petoniak called it "Julia" on the news).

I have never been spooked by a silly snowstorm. Not sure what feels different about this one?
Good grief! I have lived through many many snowstorms; certainly ones in excess of the silly 5-10" we are to get this afternoon/evening.
Just unsettled is all. Much to do yet...

Have a wonderful Thursday!
Be warm.

XOXO
Anne

  1. Weird that the tracks are in a line... Sure it was an animal??

Maybe your feeling about the snowstorm means that it will be worse than what they are predicting?? I hope not though...

    Stay safe and warm!

    Love You!

Maybe the menehine won't like and work his magic so it's not so bad!

  5. Looks like a running fox to me. Well, we know it wasn't drunk or high so it would've passed a sobriety test! Lo

  6. Strange tracks, I've never seen anything like that before. It doesn't look like anything a four legged creature would make.

Snuggle up with Punk and stay warm!

  7. Looks like a rodent to me....
I hope the snow is uneventful and passes quickly.

  8. I have no idea what would make tracks like that....but I'm just hoping its moving away from your house and not toward it.

Sounds like a good night for some soup, a good book, and plenty of blankets!!! Good luck and remember we're suppose to be suffering from Global warming!!! **shrugs**

  9. A rolling rock maybe?! Or a hopping rock?! LOL!

Seriously though....maybe a rabbit. A baby rabbit. Bugs Bunny?

    ReplyDelete
  10. I did some research earlier and the tracks kinda look like they could belong to a red or gray fox... Not sure if there are foxes in your area though?

    ReplyDelete
  11. HELLO? I said they looked like a running fox's tracks. I wasn't kidding. lol

  18. Why would a bird 'walk' all that way?
    That's about 25 feet?

    Hums "Tennessee BirdWalk"...

  19. Sweet Shari;
It was way behind the barngrade, but it was heading toward the house...
The tracks stopped at the dirt so I don't know where it went from there.

    Rolling Rock makes me thirsty.
And it would have sunk- The snow (last week) was fluffly.

No baby rabbits at this time of year.
And bigger rabbits leave different tracks.

  21. Oops.

    Anyone know what "fluffly" means???

    ReplyDelete

  22. Yes, we have many fox around here.
    Just no little bitsy ones...

    Wolves.
    Bear.

  25. I am giggling at this paragraph...

"Everyone that lives in Hawaii know that the Menehune has magical powers and have created great deeds throughout the Hawaiian Islands. They were no different here on Maui.

These three Menehune's names were Ha`alulu, Eleu and Molowa. They were well known by all the other Menehune living in Hawaii of possessing very unusual powers. Ha`alulu was so named by his kupuna (ancestors) a long time ago because he was always shaking, which is actually what it means, to shake or tremble.
Actually when you think about it, anyone that lives in Haleakala Crater would be Ha`alulu from the cold.
His magic gift was that whenever he would start shaking, he would disappear and no matter where he went, he was invisible."

    Too funny!

    I am Ha`alulu

  29. Hiya Rock,

I get those feelings sometimes too.. sometimes it turns out for good reason.. sometimes its just because something is different.. and sometimes its just a false alarm that is messin' wit' my brain!

I think that track is a single toed sloth... ya know sometimes you see them slurking around when you lest expect them. They arent dangerous ya know.. unless of course someone steals their beer...

didnt you pick up some beer cans out in the yard not long ago?????

  31. Here is current...

...HEAVY SNOW HAS DIMINISHED... WHILE THE HEAVY SNOW HAS DIMINISHED...RADAR SHOWS BANDS OF MODERATE SNOW WITH STRONG WINDS WILL CONTINUE OVERNIGHT. AN ADDITIONAL INCH OR TWO IS POSSIBLE OVERNIGHT. NORTHEAST WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH SHIFTING TO THE NORTH WILL CONTINUE TO PRODUCE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW AND CREATE TREACHEROUS DRIVING CONDITIONS.

  32. ...in my next life I might wanna be a bunny!

    ;-)

  33. Sweet Beep!

The doom and gloom seems to have passed... But I say that with caution-
It will be completely gone by morning.

Maybe I do have a messy brain. (You will hafta ask JT about that). hehehe

    A sloth?
    A frozen sloth?
Sloths don't live in Wisconsin, do they? (Like in my backyard)?

    Everything in Wisconsin drinks beer.
Or drank beer at one time or another.... It's almost patriotic in this state.

But they should never leave their beer cans in my yard.
Wait. How would a single toed sloth open those cans anyway?

    And my window is WHITE!
    (As is the snow)...
I have no idea what the reflections are either. My ceiling is flat. (Really).

  39. Another weird picture for y'all...
Please let me know what the heck resides at the bottom of my stairwell...

It's either a floating toilet seat???
    Or
A headless thing with her arms outstretched..

    Please let me know?

  40. You spooking me Ms Flintville. Why would anyone need a floating toilet seat. And where would you keep it. I'll never to get to sleep tonight pondering this.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Anne..I have walked around and looked at this for a bit. I see a face. It looks like an old face and they have a straight across smile that crooks up at the corner.Looks almost like they are wearing a hat that sorta hangs down a little. You cant see the top of the hat, just the wide brim around the head.

    ReplyDelete
  42. OMG I see the face too! But I don't think it 'goes' with the other 'thing'...

    ReplyDelete
  43. Wait I see ANOTHER face by the one Peachie is describing... :O

    ReplyDelete

  47. Sweet SlurkieBaby;
I have looked at your picture for about ten minutes- every which way, and see nothing in the background...
My steps, the doorway, and of course the damned toilet seat!?

    Blind in both eyes...

  48. I see the second one, left diagonally from first, towards the stairwell.

  50. I don't know, but it brought creepy tears to my eyes. The shadow inside part looks like someone kneeling and praying.

    ReplyDelete

  51. hehehe
The circle in the toilet seat looks like a carved pumpkin.

The red circle, I see nothing. Sorry.
    1/2 blind then?

hehehe Just kidding- I don't really ever get spooked; just at few and far between times.

HOW COME I CANNOT SEE THESE THINGS????

But you must have forgotten about this one from last week or so.

  55. Do you think the tracks were made by a bird....hopping along? How did you fair with the snow storm?

    ReplyDelete
  56. Anne....does this help any to see the person I see. I added some dots to the picture to gently outline it a little. I am still looking at the other location. Can't make anything out of that other spot yet.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Here's what I seen and what I thought Peachie seen... I didn't make anything out of the toilet seat other than it might be a body minus the head LOL

    ReplyDelete

  58. HOW THE HECK DO YOU KIDS ADD THE CIRCLES AND THE WORDS?????

    ReplyDelete
  59. What's HP?
    (I know, I live under a rock).

    ReplyDelete

  60. I have a bunch of paint in the basement...

    ReplyDelete
  61. Hewlett Packard. It's the printer program.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Paint was a program that came with Windows on the Dell computer. Many people have it.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Any program that you can edit images on, you can draw circles

    ReplyDelete
  64. You must have Photo shop...right?

My HP printer also prints, scans and copies. But you can take a picture and add things to it from the options on HP. I cannot print words on a picture with Paint. Just doodle, dots, color, draw and add things to it.

    ReplyDelete
  65. I use MS Paint or GIMP or Photoshop

    ReplyDelete
  66. Back to the picture....do you see anything there yet?

    ReplyDelete
  67. No.
I have Image Mixer- Came with my very first digital camera. But I can't add a circle.
And if I can I don't see it...

    ReplyDelete

  68. No photoshop.
    Sorry.
    Casey has it on hers.

    ReplyDelete
  69. do you have Paint? It comes on every puter

    ReplyDelete
  70. I think Casey put some kind of photo program on my laptop...
    But that's put away already...
    Hmmmm...
    Maybe it was a gimp

    ReplyDelete
  71. Nothing 'cept for the pumpikin face in the toilet.

    ReplyDelete
  72. GIMP rocks!

Am I the only one who seen the two faces ABOVE the toilet seat??

    ReplyDelete
  73. Maybe my eyes just don't WANT TO see it???

    Do I live in denial???
    NO!

    ReplyDelete
  74. Did you look at the one I did with the yellow circle? I dotted the outline of the hat....and put a larger dot for each eye and smaller dots for the nose and then a line crooked up on one end for the mouth.

    ReplyDelete
  75. It's weird they are plain as day to me

    ReplyDelete
  76. WTH is a "pumpikin"??????????????
And why is it in the toilet?????

    ReplyDelete
  77. Pumpikin is what I call Kaylee and she isn't in the toilet LMAO

    ReplyDelete
  78. hehehe
That's the one I thought was a pumpkin...

    ReplyDelete
  79. I think I even see the one that Ohio circled. I see a face that appears to be wearing glasses and they have really short hair combed over to their right.

Is that what you see Ohio?

    ReplyDelete
  80. And right next to that one is another face

    ReplyDelete

  81. Did you two happen to see the farmer in the hat next to the dumpster in my todays blog?

    ReplyDelete
  82. Todays blog....Wham bam??? or something else?

    ReplyDelete
  83. The picture of the dumpster with snow on top Anne??

    ReplyDelete
  84. I saw the two dumpsters while you were at the post office. Can't make anything out as far as people over there. Do you mean another dumpster somewhere else?

    ReplyDelete
  85. I don't see the face that Anne says she sees to the left of my circle LOL...

Maybe we are only seeing what 'they' want us to see??

    ReplyDelete
  86. I also saw the dipsy dumpster. The big blue trash can to me, (lol!) and I see some lighter colored lines or impressions there to the right. Can't make anything out of it yet.

Anne....sometimes I get up and walk away from the monitor and then step closer a little at a time and the images then will look clearer. That's how I see things.

Well....I will be back later. Ghost Whisperer is about to come on. I'll come back later and look at for that other face.

    ReplyDelete
  87. I seen the lines by the dipsy dumpster too... But wasn't sure if that's what Anne was talkin' about LOL

    ReplyDelete
  88. Yes. sorry. I was waiting for you two on my other blog...
