[My] Life in Wisconsin

Long Week

Good Morning All;
I have been up since midnight- Falling asleep watching TV, and waking with a kink in my neck. Been reading ever since.
My dear friend Peachie had commented a while back that she wondered how awful life would be for us if we didn't/couldn't read? I cannot even begin to imagine! Around my house there are books and books and books and...  Then there are boxes and boxes of books upstairs too.  Even though I have not read them all, life would be so boring without them. Life would be very nondescript if one didn't have access to the internet, where ever you choose to go on here.
...My little opinion anyway.

I have a distinct opinion on going to the dentist too. I think we all do!

Note that plastic smile...
.
.
.
I had one of these in the back...  OW!  Cnv0299
It's the same one that was hurting me so badly when Casey had those last 2 surgeries.  At least now we know how long that Temparin lasts. (I'd mentioned my toothache over a month and a half ago)! The Temparin is all gone now. So's the tooth, never to pain me again!
.
.
On the way there, Casey saw the neatest chemtrails in the sky-

Always makes me wonder how close these planes had come to each other-
.
.
Then she spotted one of the planes too-.

Great shot, Casey Face!
.
.
My mouth is just fine for now. I do need some work, but will live.
I also think it would be nice to have dentures- No more toothaches- EVER.
Mom and Dad both had dentures, and I never heard them complain.
hehehe

Punk and I did get back to the woods-

For whatever reason, Punk feels she must wait for me...
.
.
Cnv0260
She keeps me on my toes with these looks of hers, "Sheesh! C'Mon already!"
.
.
She stopped to sniff this old squash
.

.
Cnv0261
I had NO idea what is was, even from only 10 feet away- Just looked icky.
(I don't think Punk knew either).

And she was off once again! I watched her disappear down the gully; and by the time I finally caught up, she was nowhere to be seen...

Hmmm   I do not know why the trees and such came out blue?!?
.
.
As we came back up the trail, I realize I am hoping that this snowmobile trail will not be open anymore this year.

The SnoBirds Club will be along in the next few weeks to retrieve their signs.
.
.
Back at the house to notice that Spring is really trying to come to us.

Soon anyway...

The dang 'wabbits' haven't eaten this tulip -yet...

Punk had to make sure her paws n claws still worked...

They do...

Punk dreams of meeting the animal that lives in this one!  hehehe
.

Even with walking, there has to be time for playing too.

So far we have uncovered about 3 toys that were lost in Winter.

.

My sister will be coming to help get the gravel and dirt out of the lawns. Thank You Kris!  I had written to her "
It is hard work, (dirty too), and I cannot pay you, but I would be more than happy to feed you."
To whit, she replied "Dirty, unpaid work?  Hmmmm,  ok."
Still laughing at that!

I had an appointment with my spine doctor last week- I have to have another MRI as he is thinking that I may have an additional fracture or two. That is scheduled for next week.  I told him I SO wanted to have a garden this year- He didn't think that was going to be possible, but seeing my face, he added quickly that it will depend upon the MRI and how much pain I have. Tough to lie about that if the MRI is going to contradict me. hehehe

I'd better close for now- Time for Punks breakfast, and maybe for us both to nap a bit!

Hope you are having a 'wunnaful' weekend!

XOXO
Me

  3. Oh I sure hope that you DON'T have any fractures! Nice to see your smiling face, even with a plastic smile, lol. I've never really minded going to the dentist office, was only scared when he wanted to pull my wisdom teeth, so at first I just had him do the one that had a cavity. It was all fine. I later had him pull out the other three at once. Take it easy and have a great week ahead, and thank you for posting the pictures I always enjoy them!

I hope your MRI goes well and you can do a "little" gardening , you don't want to overdo it ..

  6. Anne...lol...remember the old Twilight Zone/Outer limits programs from the earlier black and white TV days? Remember the one about the man who wore glasses with the really thick lenses who loved to read. He was in a book vault...reading...when his world was destroyed around him. But he didn't care. He had books. Tons of books. And now, all the time he wanted to read those books with no one around to bother him. Then he broke his glasses. LOL! That would be me.

My upper teeth are dentures but I still have a toothache every now and then. My bottom teeth are still my own. One of which is a pure mercury filling and the other is an entire crown. And I asked to have those removed and the dentist said....he wouldn't because they were worth keeping.
But there are days I get the "toothache" feeling in my uppers as well. But that pain is mostly from my sinus and migraine headaches. As you know, those migraines pretty much make everything hurt from the neck up!

LOL! When I first saw Punk digging I thought that next pile of dirt was where she got a little carried away. LOL!

  7. Hi All;
SissyKrissiePoo was planning on coming out today to help with this-
She emailed me early this morning to say that they had been up all night with their own little pup ("Mr. Jeepers" is now 15 years old). And he was feeling quite poorly.

Please say a prayer for them all?

    XOXO

  9. LOL, I think if she works at it she could accomplish one that size....hey, maybe she'll find gold, or liquid gold :)

I really do hope you have your garden this year....you have such a green thumb.

Well wishes for a much better MRI than the doc might expect.

  10. Anne

I know I’m late I’m always late :( I also have a few books, I feel however not as many as yourself Anne, I have The Bible and the Survival Guide from the S.A.S and lots of odd ones, the weather looks great there already Tuesday, March 30, 2010. I love walking through lil forests like that one there Anne. Is the SnoBirds Club in any way politically aligned because most politicians leave their signs up long after the event also? Spring: The new growth looks really nice I think Julie planted her Tulips upside down cause I’ve never seen em in 7 years. I don’t really mind going to the Dentist Anne, I always get a Gold Cap I have 4 or 5 at the moment, Mine all mine :-)
