"
Don't interfere with somethin' that ain't bothering you none"
Many of you knew me LONG before I started blogging. Most have known me for most of my words on 360 and here...

A few days ago, Maidens blog had begun as some laughable words she'd taken from her FaceBook, and later on turned into me offering the following:
"You are welcome to snoop as long as you wish. And it's funny, because I was never ever even slightly political in my life.
That is to say I always voted in a very informed manner, but I never would have blogged about it- Not until my Casey got so sick- (has been for almost 6 years now too).
Then came the healthcare debate. The rest, they say, is history."

But that one line
so close to my heart (and highlighted above), sums up completely why I have added my politics to my page.  If it applies to humans in America it is important enough to write (and even rant) about.
We are ALL humans first.

Now what's your favorite?   -Why?

XOXO
Me

Yes that is my dad in the photo!

Flintville blog to follow, later this morning...

  1. words to live by, I loved them and laughed about most of them. I'm on the same political rant, something has got to be done regarding our healthcare system in the States, I'll admit this isnt my first rant about whats going on politically however its the most important one to my heart.

  2. In Joe Bidens own words, "Republican strategists think they can turn 2010 into 1994. They think they can take control of the Senate and undermine President Obama in the process. We have just four months to prove them wrong.

Four months to tell the American people that Democrats haven't stood down in the face of great challenges. We've stood up. We've put millions of Americans back to work, dramatically reformed health care, strengthened our standing in the world, and done so much more.

It wasn't easy, and it wasn't always popular, but we put the country back on the right path. Republicans didn't lift a finger to help.

If we want this progress to be the first chapter and not the end of the story, we need to make sure the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee has what it needs to do what they do best - elect Democrats to the Senate."

    In his "PS" he added,
"By standing up for working Americans, by passing health care reform, by supporting clean energy, President Obama and I have angered many corporate special interests. As a result, the Republicans don't just have the Tea Partiers standing behind them. Thanks to the Citizens United decision, their deep-pocketed corporate backers can give them more support than ever before. That's what we're up against."

If we do not Sweet Pam, we will lose that healthcare.

We all need to hang in there, and keep the faith (and the votes), or all the hard work will be for naught.

I gotta say this is my favorite.

Like a roller coaster, life has its ups and downs. May as well enjoy the ride, huh.
