  2. http://www.naturalnews.com/027257_hemp_America_farmers.html
    As anyone who isn't smoking crack has already figured out (and even a few who are, America's drug policy is a scandalous failure. Not only has the so-called "War on Drugs" utterly failed to stop the flow of recreational drugs in America, it has criminalized struggling farmers who seek to grow industrial hemp as a profitable, renewable crop that's in high demand across multiple industries.

    The War on Drugs has accomplished one thing, though: It has filled the nation's prisons with small-time "offenders" who got caught with an ounce or two of weed in their pockets. America's drug policy, it seems, is a boon for the prison industry, but a curse upon our nation's farmers.

  3. I once lived near a rope maker and in that location the smell of hemp seemed cleansing.

  5. Good morning Bill;
    I have neither smoked nor ingested marijuana since I was in High School (or shortly thereafter).
    But know this- I always loved the smell of it. And to this day, walking through a crowd, and to get a whiff of it still makes me smile.
    It is a nice aroma.

    But, I also believe that in those days- (and I am talking about 30+ years ago), the marijuana we smoked at lunch on the high school grounds was plain old pot. Home grown, and clean.
    I don't think the same can be said about todays market.

  8. I thought that maybe you would appreciate it Mr. Lester.
    There is much information available to those who wish to know.

    Unfortunately our Sweet Suzy lives in my state- There are no regulatory laws on the books yet to ensure that we get treated for pain- or for anything else this drug might correct.

  9. I have to agree. I haven't smoked pot in well over 25 years but I still like the smell of it. And I despise the smell of burning tobacco.
