A Migraine (Mine), A Moron (Me), Multiply, and More

Best to grab a cup of coffee, or a nightcap.
It's kinda long... Sorry.

Dear Santa;
Please send me a Sony digital camera.
I am truly lost without mine.

Good Afternoon!!!
And happy Friday' to all who are here blogging/reading on our new site. I hope everyone has their sites, info, etc all migrated away from Multiply since Multiply will close very soon.

'As the tummy growls' ...
I am famished right now, and will catch you all up on my day shortly.  (But at this point, I am also way too tired to even think of cooking anything).

If you have read my previous notes on Multiply, then you already know that my car broke down eons ago...
Not really needing to go anywhere, I tried to ignore that specific dark cloud. Which was

ARF! Punk to the ResQ!

"Kris" -An my "She"

Kris and I- Totally Sexy us! (Check our feet)!
Totally sexy!

ARF!
(An we ALL know what THAT means)!

A really  L~O~N~G  time ago now, me and 'she' went to this place called 'the lake'.
Maybe it just feels like a really
L~O~N~G time...

"She" tole me I hadda behave, or 'she' would bring me right back home.

We drove -almost like my little one was sick- (Well, that same road ennyway).
But then she turned off really early-
And then we went on all these corners.

Then we got lost!  I din't care how drippy my tongue was either- I could smell the water- An it was all around us!

"She" leaves me in the car while 'she' goes to ask directions.
(An that's how I know my 'she' is a "she"). Arf!

Finally we get to a house, an I met these 2 ladies.

Judy and Kris!
They are really COOL! (Cute too).

The lady on the left is called "Judy"-
The one on the right is called "Kris"-
Or, as my 'she' calls her, "SissyKrissiePoo".

Oh! An I could just SEE the water!
I was SO happy, an almost ready to jump in, when I was called back to the house.
What?!?!
"Oh no!" was all I could think...

But it was for...

For FOOD!!!

So then I knew right off that this was gonna be the very best day EVER!!! An I was gonna be real happy here!
* My 'she' says that I had better love it there cuz if'n ennything ever happens to her I will get to go live with Kris n Judy.

At lunch, that lady "Judy" was the very nicest, cuz she left a whole bunch on her plate fer me to 'clean off'!
After that I got to eat some bites of wieners, potato salad, some chips, and all else...
My she gets on some differnt clothes, an we all get to go outside...

...And INto the lake!

"She" was a little scared, so me an the Kris lady went swimmin'-
My 'she' had tole me that no one ever drowns around her sister cuz Kris is a "Life Guard" (I thought maybe that was gonna be "my" job).

We even had a race across the lake!

Guess who's winning!
OK. That's not true.
We was just chasing my ball.

But then, my Kris went an fell down- and underwater.
I had to drop my ball to go fetch the girl!

"OK. Hold on- Here we go"
She held on tight after that, an I brought her to the dock.

Somehow, she managed to get my ball away from me.
She tried to hide it under the water too, but I could still see it!

Making Punk dive for the ball.

Then she threw it way far out, and we went racing to go fetch it all over again.

An ya know what happened?!?!

"Res-Q Pup" -Dragging Kris back in, for the 100th time-
Yup, my Kris lady fell backwards again, an I hadda bring her back in!
This was fun- (even after the 50th time)!

I dunno what "Life Guard" means, but I think it must mean that the people fall backwards and almost drown (a lot); an that I gotta guard her life.
I unnerstand why my she decided I would go to Kris n Judy's It's cuz they NEED my help!

Too soon it was time to take a break...
(So said the drowning lady ennyway).

"Watch 'er Mom, She's gonna try to hide the ball on me"
But I didn't wanna get out of the water.
"No way. No how!!!"

I did get out for about 10 seconds, then I went right back in again.

Oops.
My Kris had to go get a bag to pick up...

 sumpthin'...

Eeeee-Oooooh! Pee-You!
Sheesh-
It was just too nice "in" the lake to get back out and do poo~poo, ya know.
My 'she' hollered at me, but my Kris thought it was funny!
And get this- Neither of 'em had ever even heard of a dog doing it's "thing" in the lake!
I thought it looked just like a Baby Ruth bar.

Of course then we hadda swim some more-

My Kris found these.

Zebra mussels on a clam
They are called Zebra Mussels (click), -an they poke holes in your feet so the humans hadda wear shoes!

Mr. Bill came out to play

Punk wanted a ride too!

I wasn't even afraid of him; (though he looked funny to me on that thing).
Between you, me and ennyone who reads this, I wanted to go for a ride too!

Here comes Mr. Bill on the jet ski!
But i was havin' too much fun when he came back that I forgot to ask.

I don't think ennyone should ride that thing when something like this goes by.

Quack Quack

They were w-a-a-a-a-y cute-
And they swam by a few times too!

Soon we got out of the lake for real.
It had been about 4 hours, or more, that we swam and played- My she said it was gettin' on time to get home.

"Ooh nice! A little to the right please?!"
My Kris wiped me off real good.

An then I...

Well I...

I din't do it.
(Really I din't).

I did NOT do it!!!  Was dat lady behind me.
I was just layin' there as the lady next door came an pulled out my Kris' flower things.

I mean LOOK WHAT SHE DID!!!

Didja see wat dat lady done?! Oh is she gonna be in trouble!
She just smushed them all.
They thought I did it.

But it wasn't me.

Dat is NOT a flower in my ear. I am on da brick fer Pete sake!
Cuz I went and laid on the bricks, ya see?

"Someone" took this picture-
I don't know how, or when even-

Dis NOT me! I wood never do sumpthin' like that!
But THAT'S NOT ME!
(Musta been some other dog, cuz I wouldn't do such a thing)!

See this one...

See? Dis IS me. I rolld on da brick!
THIS one IS ME!
See, I am bein' good an only rollin' on the bricks!

I still say that lady, Donna, did all the damage.
Now my she said she was going to have to send some seeds to my Kris n Judy.

We went home- almost right after a squirrel ran right by my 'she'on the porch steps!

Did my she get up and chase it?
"No!"
(An that's just pure stupid if ya ask me).

We drive all the way home- An no, I didn't go to sleep once.

When we get home, we see this!

Something Died- and Disappeared
UH~OH
Yup, that surely looks like part of my Sputty! "Neener~neener"
Sputnik got hisself stuck in th' mousetrap!"
He musta made a bad sound when THAT happened- I was glad I was gone when it did.

But when we go into th' rooms, we see this...

Sput on a Sill....
An there ain't nuthin' wrong with him!!!

No one kin figure out what the heck got stuck in th' trap.
(But I already tole ya how stupid "she" is).

I gotta go.
I s'pose my she wants to use this.
S'Been stormy out, and real hot too.
Wish we were back at th' lake!

Maybe soon?
I'll be good.
I always am! (And sides, it's been a really L~O~N~G time since we been there).

May your 'he's' and 'she's' always be ready with a lotta love fer ya!
And may your bowls always be full!

Love, Punk

Spirometric       Classification

The       normal lung function, when measured with Spirometry, diminishes       approximately 5% every 10 years after age 35 years old.  Therefore, it is       rare for a person over 35 to have a “100%”   In addition, the normal       values for the FVC and FEV (2 of the measurements in a pulmonary function       test) vary depending on age, height, sex and race.  The numbers are higher       for:

  • 35 years old vs 65 years old
  •
  • Taller than shorter builds
  •
  • Men than women
  •
  • Caucasian than most other races.
  •

The number used (FEV1) is a percent of the average       expected of someone of your height, age, sex and race.   It is       expressed       as a percent of predicted.  Any number over 80% is considered normal

"The Storm"  -As seen through SissyKrissiePoo's Camera...
At home on the beach close to the CloverLeaf Lakes area, Kris lives only about 40 miles from here.
Here was her summation

Cartoon from here.

Good Morning Everyone!
I am reading that you all have had a "wunnaful" Easter weekend! I even got a card in the mailbox! (
Snail mail, not the inbox).

This card and letter from my birthmother- She is so good at writing letters and such.
I once was also, but when my hands went kaplooey that all stopped.
Casey and Greg had stopped in to see (birthmother) Donna and (her husband), Bob while they were in Milwaukee last month...

Donna and Bob will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on the 23rd. (It does my heart good to see real marriages last this long; through the good and the bad, and everything in~between.
They can still laugh together. (That says it all about happy marriages)!

Since I don't think I ever did post the pictures that Casey took while they were there, here they are now...
Gosh I have a crappy memory lately...

Donna and Bob own a tavern down in Milwaukee-  Each year for St Patrick's Day she makes 60 pounds of corned beef. (Each year she says "never again" and then makes it anyway).
They rarely, if ever, have any leftovers either! Yummy!
My sister, DeeDee, runs the bar- Money for her, (she's the one that lost her husband in 2008 to cancer).
Donna and Bob have 3 daughters. Kathy, DeeDee, and Shari.
Donna, having been married once before, also had a daughter, Patty, who died in 1976.
My sister Kris and I were the 2 given up for adoption.

This is SissyKrissiePoo!

We had gone down to Kelli's and had stolen her trailer back again...
This worked much better than my decrepit wheelbarrow.

Besides, Punk can't ride in the wheelbarrow.
Hmmm   What about that shoulder?!?!

Cnv0339

Then they all took a well deserved break!
Kris treated us to lunch from Krolls West   YUM!
If you are ever in Green Bay, you have to eat here just once.
I guarantee you will want to go back.
Check out the autographed celebrity tiles on the walls too while you are there!

It was in the 70's that day-
Today it is raining and gloomy- a candle kind of day. But oh, how we need the rain!

I have much running around to do today, and will try to get all my errands done before I go back to the 'toe' doctor tomorrow.
YIKES!

I had given Kris a book, (which she forgot to take with her when she left). I will mail that out today. A few other stops too,. First will be to make my vote count.

Casey has an appointment for another UTI.
I'm beginning to think she will never be rid of those... She drinks lots of water, juices, etc, so everything should be working all right.
Perhaps it has something to do with her missing spleen?
Hmmm...

I'd better close and get on with my day.

Hope all is well in your little corner of the world?
Have a happy day!

XOXO
Me

The Moon and The MRI

-Full Worm Moon- click for more full moons

Good Morning Everyone!
An already warm enough morning here- The above picture of the moon over the treeline was snapped when I went out to get my little dumpster out to the road. I thought is was very pretty...

Now, on to even more very very "pretty" ...

... Keeping in mind that beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
(You have been warned)!

Cnv0317
hehehe

I had another MRI yesterday. (I will not have the results until next week).
But I can sure tell you what this one was all about...
My appointment was at 8:15-  Casey came along, as I take diazepam before I go in for my anxiety. Not a good thing to be driving around high as a kite.

Upon arrival I was given a questionnaire of everything from soup to nuts. (No soup, and no nuts).
They even ask what kind of music you want to listen to. The MRI machine is very noisy with its thumping and clunking and whirring. (Know that the headphones do not drown out those noises).
I was taken to the changing room, (pictured above).
I could keep my shirt on, minus the bra as it has metal in the clasps. My socks~n~undies also stayed on.

That doughnut hole is where I get slid in.
Darn good thing I can add a bit of self relaxation to the pill I'd taken.
(And a dry washcloth over my eyes too, to darken it even more).

Then came an hour and a half of laying flat on my back. (For me, this is the hardest part).
It is also why I feel so "out of alignment" today- (I'll simplify that- it hurts like hell).

And life goes on...

Cnv0282
Do you ever wonder what Punks face looks like after she does this?
.

Wonder no more!

Cnv0305

Sorry I wasn't closer.

As for the dark make up, the cat needs none!

Cnv0306
He waits to see that feral cat that lurks about.
Lordy, that'll be a godawful noise if they ever do 'meet'...

I'd better close for now-
Kris has just called and is on her way to help get the lawns taken care of. Casey will be coming out a bit later to help also!

Hope you enjoyed my 2nd MRI - (And I hope you enjoyed it more than I did too).
hehehe
At least now you know you have nothing to fear if you ever need one.

Have a 'wunnaful' Wednesday! My love to all!
