ARF! for 2008!

Yup, it's me again, "Punk"!

Didja miss me?
Well, I did start to write yesterday morning... And my "she" was pretty sick with her head again. I had to attend to her, or I would have finished my blog. The little one took her in for a shot. I got to ride along too! ~And I only barfed once! I haven't done that for a while, and am thinking that as long as 'she' was that way, that I should be too. (I think she is better today).

I started to write, and then thought I might do a few pictures...

And I went ALL the way back to January 1st of 2007...
It was so warm, (almost 50), and we had taken a walk to the woods. We still had no snow to play in, so I had to find something to play in...

I found the river!

And even tried to catch a fish!

I didn't last too long in there, but I sure had fun!

Once I get dried off at home, Mama Milly comes indoors too!

.

Mostly we behave...

.

And then it is time for my nap!

.

I love my naps!

.

.

Later on that same month was the little ones birthday!
They took lots of pictures, but I didn't even get a doggie bag!!!

..

First, the little ones friend Jenny Mella comes over and they get ready.

.

Jenny is LOTS of fun too.
('Cept she sat on my friend Sputty once).

.

"She" and that little guy, Gabriel!

There is ALWAYS lots of work to do...

And I help when I can too!

.

'She' started to trim the shrub,
and I pulled the tangled branches out.

A hard job, but I manage.
(Alone too).

Mama Milly is NO help.

.

She just sits and watches me!

.

Even AFTER I brought her a branch...
Maybe when I am 11 or 12 I can just sit and watch too.
But for now I am having fun.

I make a really big pile too!

.

Mama Milly just watches AGAIN...

.

.

.

But then it is time for my nap!

.

Did I tell you I love my naps??

.

.

The next month came, and really, I got LOTS of naps. It was so cold and snowy that it hurted my paws to play outside too long...

But we STILL got to take walks. Just shorter ones.

Mama Milly calls me a wimp when it snows,
cuz HER paws don't get too freezie like mine...

.

Mama hollers at me all the time!
But I hear tell that that is what Mamas are s'posed to do.

.

The other little one,
the WART,
got sick and went to the hospital to get her gallbladder out.

She died.
~Something about a 'vegas' nerve?
(But after about 20 minutes her heart was beating good all over again)!
YAY!
Oops, I mean "ARF" !!!

(She really didn't know any better)...

.

BUT, she was well enough to come home the next day even!

.

We played inside LOTS...

The little boy had a problem lifting the black bar...

.

.

.

So I showed him HOW it was done...

.

.

.

.

.

.

But then ONE of us dropped it on the Warts foot...

.

OUCH!
Er, I mean "ARF"

.

.

And so Mama Milly and I both had to take a nap.
I love naps!!!!
(Mama Milly, not so much)...

.

Besides, she usually naps out in the entrance when its so cold.

.

She even gets a blanket sometimes!

.

.

The little boy Gabriel has his own blanket too.
He can nap where ever he wants to...

.

Sometimes he even falls asleep on the floor!

.

.

.

Sometimes as soon as he is done eating...

..

.

.

My little one naps too...

.

Cuz lots of times she doesn't feel too good...
And then she won't play with anybody.

.

.

Some days she feels real good.

.

And other days...

.

she REALLY feels no pain!!!

.

.

.

...Even when she SHOULD be feeling it!
hehehe

Sometimes we go to a big place in Milwaukee called Froedtert.
This year we went about 5 times...
Those pics were taken there after one of her nasty surgeries.

Sometimes she makes herself be in pain too!

Yes, she was riding that trike!

It was kinda hot that day.
And when it gets too hot, I get into my pool.

.

And it cools me right off!

.

.

I like the flowers too! They are all over the place!

.

Just not anymore cuz it's snowing AGAIN!!!

.

And just like last year,
maybe Mama Milly and I can get some more "quality time"
TOGETHER!!

And so, from BOTH of us, we would like to wish for you...

A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

A whole year full of your bowl being at least half full.

A whole year to be warm.

A whole year to be happy.

A whole year of flowers.

A whole year to be loved.

A whole year that nobody EVER has to go to the vet.

A whole year to be kind to everyone you meet and know.

A whole year of smiles.

A whole year of peace within.

And a whole year of being surrounded by those that love you!

A whole year of "quality".

A whole year of "enough".

AND,

A whole year of getting your naps at the right time too!

She also said to tell you that she has received word that 'maybe' she will be getting her old blog back. The note said something about the "engineering" department finally getting her complaint...

I took that picture on one of our walks to the woods... (And before this latest storm dumped an extra half a foot of snow there too).

I still have no news about my old blog, and the process of restoring it to its original values etc. I have been reading around a bit too; maybe a connection to a friend here or there, and who knows what may happen.

So as NOT to be misunderstood, I always explain everything about this 'event' on an 8~year~old level so that there should be no questions about any part of this problem with 360.

And somehow along the way, I at least got a computer generated response.

Our Christmas 2007

Good Morning Everyone!
As promised, "Christmas in Flintville"...
Before blasting The Mormon Tabernacle Choirs rendition of "The Hallelujah Chorus", I always snap a few pictures of my home.

Missing 3 wonderful children, Brit, Jonathan and Raven; and their parents, Crystal and Russ. (Russ' parents were in town for the Holidays)...
Missing my sister Kris and Judy, Tanya and her newborn baby boy, Harman. ~Too tired to venture out after almost a month of a new baby in the house!
(And we ALL know how that goes)!

No John this year as he was working at the hospital in Appleton that day...
No 'goosies' for him this year; (but the nurses might have gotten to him too)!

Chris and Cheryl;
finally engaged after 5 years of loving each other!
~She has assured me that by next Christmas they will even have set a date!

We used to live by Chris Jaworski when we lived NE of Pulaski; and have been good friends ever since. A good man, who has found his match in Cheryl too! One of those rare couples that are perfect for each other.

I have NO idea what Casey will choose to do about blogging, but I am sure she would have had you all caught up with her own news if freakin' Yahoo wouldn't have stolen her site as well as my own.
And yes, her pain did subside enough to get through Christmas. And she was ok til about 7 that evening too... Pray that the new year is her kindest year ever.

Time for me to fly and clean up a bit more. I still have all the extra chairs in the living room and must get those back out to the garage. And then maybe to "find" my floors and furniture!
It took me about 3 hours to clear the snows from yeserdays little storm. Later today we will be getting anywhere from 3~5" of new snow, so the yard is ready for that.
(But I'm sure not).
Oh well. Must be winter... Bring it on, baby!!!
