Arf, S*X, and the "F" Word

Arf, S*X, and the "F" Word
Arf, S*X, and the "F" Word magnify
hehehe

.

ARF!!!!
And you ALL know what THAT means...
(And if you don't, please double~click on the 'written by punk' tag).
Sometimes I have LOTS of fun messing around with her computer... And mostly I get caught too.

Seems I get caught at lots of things lately. More later on this...

Life sure is getting interesting around this place. I love that it's much warmer out and that we can all go outside for a LONG time! it is so much FUN!

Her friend Kelli came over with MY friend, Mr. Miller, and we all went for a walk back to the woods. Even the little one came along. But they miss all the fun too because me and the Miller Man got to walk in the mud, and play in the snow!

.

.

Ooh, can you believe that the snow is still this deep back there???
Wow!
er, I mean ARF of course...

.

.
My 'she' does lots of work around here.
And while I am not sure what "Make Do" means to her, it means fun for me...

Well, at least yesterday it did...

She scraped up the yard really good, and then had to 'drag' it to get the little stones all even. Since she doesn't have a real 'drag', the little one and I took to helping her out.

.

.

.
.
She said she needed more 'weight'...
hehehe
.
.
Between the little one and me, I guess we had that weight...
.
.

And OH, we went really FAST too!
So much fun!!!! ('Til the catch broke anyway).

But that was "it" for me yesterday too... And then 'she' started getting so mean.
The little one had gone inside my house, and was talking into that one box thing that rings and startles me sometimes. I really don't like that box...

Me and She were still outside. She got to dig in the dirt and the snow that's left too.

.

.

But even with all of these critter holes, she won't let ME dig!
n' that's really UNFAIR, I tell ya...

.

.

I was hot! ~It really WAS hot for me cuz I still have my winter coat; (well most of it anyway). And all I did was go lay in the shade.

Then 'she' says I'm sassy and that she will never play with me again...

.

.

Hey, can I help it if my shade was a little wet?
I heard her holler, "OH NO!"
Getting up, I go running to see what is wrong...
...And she calls me a BAD name!
(I'm sure it was bad; she called me a 'sassy dog')!

.

.

So I pouted for a while... (still in the shade though)!

.

.

And THEN she wouldn't even let me inside my own house!
She said something about 'drying~off'; and then even mumbled something about 'blowing~away' too.

See, SHE is SO MEAN!!!
And she puts a cable on my necklace and puts me out by Mama~Milly.
So that was OK; at least we can play a bit when Mama Milly isn't being mean to me and stealing my balls away.

So later came, and I'd dried off.
(But too much weight to blow away).

She brushed me really good, and all kinds of dust was blowing around. (Maybe that's what she meant)?!?
And then before I go back in, she has to wipe me down. Even between my toes? And she called me 'stinky' too.
See? MEAN!

We go inside. The little one is gone to town for a while, so it's just me and she.

She gets on this computer and cusses about 'slow' something or another. I try to comfort her and lie down by her feet.
Usually she snuggles her toes under me, and usually those toes are kinda cold too- (I don't mind warming them up). But she had her other 'paws' on yesterday- Guess they keep her toes warm too.

And suddenly I don't feel so good at all.
And I make like the little one always does- I have all these weird noises coming from my throat.
Nope. Don't feel good at all...

She drags me out from under her table.

I barf on the floor. She says what the heck? (Is that bad)?
But then she gets mad all over again cuz "she" says that I ate Mama Millys food. (How did she know anyway)?!?
I get a few little kernels of Natural Balance; the kind that has all the veggies in it- Mama Milly gets the GOOD kind, with kibbles and other junk in it. And it tastes SO much better than mine.

Anyway, while 'she' is scrubbing the floor (and muttering something about her 'dammback'), I walk to my dish and take a BIG drink of water. And I feel better.
She also said 'ya better enjoy the water because that's your supper for tonight'

I've never not had my supper before...

But, with making her scrub the floors, I even got her away from the computer!

She finishes and then goes to turn on the box that talks with pictures on it. (Says she has to watch the news)...
I don't like this box either, so I go lay on the steps in the entrance. It's cooler on those steps, and if she goes outside I am ready then.

Restless, I come back in the house, just not where she is.
I already know that when the news is over she wants to get back outside.
YAY! I can't wait!!!
(She always ignores me when that picture box is on)...

But when it was done, she came around the corner and found me standing there.

.

.

And, she said another bad word too that I won't say here
but what followed that bad word was:
"Well for the gods sake, just how much did you eat?"
.
.

She gets me more water. I drink it all down again.
It does make me feel better.
And then she starts scrubbing the rug after she throws all my food out in the garbage thing.

We finally get to go back outside. It's fun out there.
Mostly.

Until my "she" gets one look at Mama Millys food barrel and then says STILL ANOTHER bad word.

OK, maybe I shouldn't have ate it ALL; but it was there, just begging me to eat it! (Besides, Mama Milly had played all day long and wasn't feeling like playing again).
So, I'd just got bored and I ate while I dried out to dust.

So when we finally come inside, 'she' tells me I 'friggin' look pregnant!
("She" had me fixed, so no I ain't)! But I sure was awfully tired... And I lie down on the couch. By this time the little one is back home and they both kinda laugh at me...

.

.

I mean, C'mon, do I really look pregnant???

.

.

And she says I MUST go for another walk to the woods. And then she said something about waddling!
(I take it that's an insult)?
We play a bit, and wander a while. But I do not poop like she wants me to. She told me I'd better not be waking her up all night long either.

I didn't.

But I sure made a lot of doo~doo this morning!

I am still really tired. and I think I am too tired to get in the shower like she said yesterday.
She gave me breakfast, but I am still not hungry.
Maybe later...

She says I always make her worry so much on the weekends. Guess that means that I won't be going to the doctors unless I do something else silly...

Dang it. I like that guy! He always gives me a BIG treat when I go!!!

Maybe she will be in a better mood today. Maybe not too. The Little One had a really bad night again last night and so we were up a LOT. (She's been up since two)!

Oh, it's almost time to go back outside!
I can't wait!

ARF to all!

Love,
Punk!

PS
Did you ask about my title???
The "F" word is for the fifties we had yesterday...

And the S*X you ask?
That's for the SIXTIES we'll have today!

ARF!!!

(It is the link from Chereis blog).
I apologize for not including it within my 360 blog earlier.

Good Morning...

I was all set to write a blog and to reassure you (and myself) that Spring is still in the air in Flintville...

hehehe
Do you like the bug???

And of course I ended up 'surfing' ...and trying to keep up a bit here too.
Honestly, how much can be written about my daughters illness on here, and still they can't find anything to help her?
WTH?
Yes, she was once again at the hospital last night... She is better today?

In my regular email was an update for Baby Mariah. As many of you already know, Mariah 3 years old, has a potine glioma, and has been fighting it for almost the past year.
Please take a minute to click here, (or on her name); and to say hello to the wonderful Klein Family.
It will cost nothing but your time.
I found this poem in her latest blog...

A Pair of Shoes
Author Unknown

I am wearing a pair of shoes.
They are ugly shoes.
Uncomfortable shoes.
I hate my shoes.
Each day I wear them, and each day I wish I had another pair.
Some days my shoes hurt so bad that I do not think I can take another step.
Yet, I continue to wear them.
I get funny looks wearing these shoes.
I can tell in others eyes that they are glad they are my shoes and not theirs.
They never talk about my shoes.
To learn how awful my shoes are might make them uncomfortable.
To truly understand these shoes you must walk in them.
But, once you put them on, you can never take them off.
I now realize that I am not the only one who wears these shoes.
There are many pairs in this world.
Some women ache daily as they try and walk in them.
Some have learned how to walk in them so they don’t hurt quite as much.
Some have worn the shoes so long that days will go by before they think about how much they hurt.
No woman deserves to wear these shoes.
Yet, because of these shoes I am a stronger woman.
These shoes have given me the strength to face anything.
They have made me who I am.
I will forever walk in the shoes of a woman who has a child with cancer.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I can only begin to imagine these familys fears dealing with all their babies and loved ones.
Some are given such a short time, while others lives are even shorter.
How dare I complain about my own pains...
Also please offer your love and support to my friend Beth T.
Again, please click here, or on her name... Her own mama is quite ill, in the hospital, and Beth cannot be there as she would like.
Your words and kindnesses have always helped me so much that I believe you can offer her a bit of your comfort as well.
On another separate (but "p*ss me off"), topic, comes a blog from Cherei. Her blog has to do with 'cougars' -of the pedophile variety- and the like.
Are we allowing ourselves to become so removed from reality that this is becoming the norm?!?
http://shine.yahoo.com/channel/sex/the-quot-official-quot-cougar-boot-camp-154103
Because God knows it is NOT acceptable no matter HOW we try to complicate it.
Allow me to simplify it for you, for myself and for all parents and grandparents...
Wrong is wrong. (How's that for the simplified version)?
Having raised 4 daughters, and having 2 of them sexually assaulted while they were still minors, I cannot begin to tell you how sick this all is.
So please take a few moments of your own time and visit these people and to let them know you were there too.
And then go have yourselves a "Wunnaful" Weekend!
Love to all.
XOXO,
Anne
Spring in Flintville,
Enjoy!
What do you want?!?!
~
Good Morning Everyone!
There are days that I can sit here and read my news stories, follow links and completely lose track of the time.
Today has been one of those days... And so my own time is limited now. My apologies if I haven't gotten to your place...
I am still getting the ice/water out of the old garage, and so I had a pretty busy day yesterday- Happy that all the important things were covered for the winter- The water will not damage anything, except my spirits.
Casey drove to town to pick up Berta and Gabriel. Barely out of the car a minute or two- (Hugs all around first), and he was raring to go for a ride.
.
.
C'Mon Grandma, Hurry!
.
.
After throwing an old blanket in the wagon, they were BOTH ready to go!
.
.
Can't have the 'kids' getting slivers in their bums...
.
.
And after a few lazy turns up front, Roberta joined us and we went back to the woods.
Tough getting back there, and am glad I have the chains still on the tires... The path is quite wet yet- Muddy too; and we sank in a few spots. But didn't get stuck. (Just a whole lot of mud kicked up by the tires, and deposited on the back fenders of the Cub).
Funny to see everyone ducking though.
The snow back by the woods is still deep. We watched as Punk got 'stuck' a few times, and once even went @ss over teakettles...
.
.
.
.
Master Gabriel decided that looked like fun, and wanted to check it out himself.
.
.
Had he gone 10' back toward the woods we would not have found him 'til it all melted.
.
.
And then back up to the house...
Trying not to fall in any holes, Master decided it was great to have his own tractor.
.
.
.
.
And the holes you ask???
hehehe
.
.
Cnv2284.........Cnv2285
These two shots are indicative of my entire yard!
(Think lots and LOTS of target practice)!
hehehe
.
.
But it IS WAR when they get into my old flower beds...
.
I want to "bomb" them, like I did some other varmints a few years back...
...Little fookerz...
.
.
So many birds are back now- Highs to be in the 50's so I can get my windows open and shut off the heat for a while.
So great to be hearing them all once more, (I almost had disremembered what they sounded like)...
I'd better close for now.
I hope you all have a great day!
Get outside and enjoy the sunshine!
Love to all.
XOXO,
Me
Disremember...
Spring has Sprung the daffodils!
kinda~sorta anyway...
.
Good Morning Everyone!
I have been gently reminded that I have not blogged in a few days... My apologies, but truth be known I have been outside more often than not; enjoying the melting snow, (and even a few little sprouts that have decided to come up too).
Mostly weeds, but as long as they are green it doesn't matter to me!
.
.
A few tulips have braved this past winter and have begun to grow.
.
.
I am still trying to dry out the old garage floor. I have shoveled the chipped ice, (I have even salted the floors)! And have been running the fan out there every day... Since there is no open southern exposure it is a long task with only 40 degree temperatures to be melting it all. I did have to chisel a little river through the ice, and it worked great, even after getting over an inch of rain on Monday!!!
Bad boys:
I see that my 'boys' have done a bit of damage between last fall and yesterday. Last September, Greg had done a bunch of weedwhacking... Taking out 3 of my baby lilacs, and even whacking off the antennae lead behind the house...
Casey claims he is crazy with that trimmer of his and we should be careful that he doesn't whack the whole house down!
hehehe
In shoveling snow around Christmastime from in front of the garage, Rick had also killed off one more of the little lilacs... Maybe they might still grow; (?) ~they are the last of the bunch from Ginny Ryan that had originally come from Mama in the first place.
At this point in time, I have only one more that has survived.
(Leave the poor thing the heII alone boys)!
A few little repairs. And one I hope won't spook any birds away either.
The wind had wiggled this box enough that the roof had actually come apart. A bit of hot glue, (I hope) will do the trick...
.
.
Poor little bird house...
.
.
Miss Casey and the Punk played with a frisbee in the back.
.
.
Casey and I also moved three wagonloads of wood chips to the driveway; which was more mud than anything else in some spots.
With Casey not feeling up to par, it does her a world of good to at least be able to get outside and move around a bit if nothing else.
Her EUS is scheduled for the 15th of this month down at Froedtert. Hopefully they can get to the bottom of this all for her. And while you hate to have anything bad show up, this has been a world of hurt for her and we want something fixable that will show us all what is wrong. The ultrasound should do this for her... Pray.
Not too sure if they will keep her overnight or not for this procedure.
And back to more 'playing' outside... Miss Milly was particularly unsociable after playing fetch with Punk and I for a while; and was already back in her kennel...
.
.
The flattened ball behind her-
(Methinks it should be harder to blow away now)!
The stick on her mouth?
Do we really have to wonder why she gets them stuck in places
where they obviously do not belong?
.
.
A walk around my garden plot only showed me that it has to be tilled up to be ready for a seed or two...
.
.
.
.
And we wait only for it all to dry up a bit...
I hope you are all having a "wunnaful" week!!
Love to all!
XOXO
Anne
Oh, and before I 'disremember'... This little tidbit came across my monitor a few days back...
disremember • \dis-rih-MEM-ber\ • verb
: means to forget
Example sentence:
"'It was the British who did it,' I said quickly. 'I disremember the place and time....'" (E.L. Doctorow, Loon Lake)
Did you know?
English has been depending upon the word "forget" since before the 12th century, but in 1805 a new rival appeared in print -- "disremember."
A critic in 1869 called "disremember" both "obsolete" and "a low vulgarism," and later grammarians have agreed; it has been labeled "provincial and archaic."
In 1970 Harry Shaw opined that "disremember" was "an illiteracy," adding, "never use this word in standard English."
(By 1975, Shaw amended his opinion to "this word is dialectal rather than illiterate.")
"Forget" is indeed a vastly more popular word, but "disremember" still turns up occasionally, often in dialectal or humorous contexts.
I say we bring it back!
How can this very cool word be overlooked for so long???
Obsolete?
Low vulgarity?
I think not. It's too poetic to be "dissed" like this.
Good Morning!
Kind of a dreary morning here- Cloudy skies, with the potential for T~Storms early tomorrow morning... And turning to snow then after those.
Rain expected .. Snow expected .. Rain expected .. Snow expected .. Rain expected.. Snow expected
~Rain, snow, rain, snow, rain, snow~
It's just GOT to end sometime, doesn't it???
.Here's my forecast from WBAY TV...
Good morning Anne,
A strong storm system is heading for northeast Wisconsin as we go into the early week. Ahead of the storm, skies will be mostly cloudy today with a few sprinkles here and there. Brisk southeast winds will become gusty northeast winds later tonight as the area of low pressure arrives.
Look for heavy rain with maybe some thunder from Green Bay and to the south. Some flooding may be possible, especially in low-lying areas and near riverbanks.
Meanwhile to the north, heavy snow will fall.
Oh well...
.
I went out to the big shed yesterday morning to get a bit of a headstart out there.
Getting in was a big problem...
.
I took this photo last week,
(even before most of these melting days).
Notice too how the ice has gone up the apron and over the doorstop...
.
.
I did manage to chip away at the bottom of the door.
Only to realize that the door pull was also frozen solid in that ice too. (Nothing that a couple of good kicks couldn't fix though)!
Finally to heave that old wooden door up.
.
.
Ruh~Roh!
A brand spankin' new indoor ice rink!
.
.
I dug out the old fan, and ran it all day to try to get some of this moisture out.
In doing that, at least I managed to get to some dry concrete!
.
.
Short~Lived joy...
The only dry concrete was UNDER where I had run the fan.
.
.
.
And so I see that I have my work cut out for me.
No, I will NOT run my dehumidifier out there either...
.
Maybe just strap on those old skates and get busy.
?
In the rain.
?
Not.
.
.
I shall have to chop out a little river for the water to run though... The mile high snowbanks are finally coming down a bit, so maybe there is/can be room for it to run; because I sure as heck don't want/need any more water in the garage.
Needless to say here...
Bad mood.
Headache.
BOTH are present and accounted for
~So's the danged jackass.
Before we left for Froedtert, Miss Milly got a brand new beef bone...
.
.
She had to check it all out before she went and buried it too.
Guess it tastes MUCH better when it has rotted a while?
.
.
Punkie got one too, but was more concerned about Casey at the moment.
.
.
.
.
Even down in Milwaukee...
.
Punk wakes Casey up!
And kept a close eye on her always...
.
Well, until we got back home...
And it was back to her bone!
No cats allowed!
.
.
Now, that bone MUST be guarded 24/7 .
Sputnik can look at it, but he dasn't even lick it!
.
.
Guard. Guard. Guard...
Unless the "Sputty~Perp" is fast asleep...
.
Just where I want to be!
Been playing on here for too long now.
Not too sure if I agree with this or not-
(Maybe one of you can interpret it for me)?
And maybe I hadn't had enough caffeine when I did it...
.
Time for me to fly! (er, I mean 'skate')...
Have a great Sunday!
Sputty looks as though he is saying,
WHO ARE YOU AND WHY ARE YOU IN MY HOUSE???
.
Good Morning;
I know you await a magical update regarding Casey.
I do not have one at this point; and this damnable waiting 'game' continues...
Froedtert would like to do an EUS, (endoscopic ultrasound)- It would definitely be another diagnostic tool, and not a solution. Kinda saddened by that, as I see how very much pain she is in all the time.
They will call us on Monday to get that all set up.
More news then? ...hopefully anyway.
To say that this has Casey very depressed, I believe, is a gross understatement.
I know I whine and complain about my migraines, and the barfing, and the anxiety that can leave me almost paralyzed, etc etc etc.
But really, these are things that mean almost nothing when compared to what she is going through.
And yes, I was up last night with my own fookin' head... and if it wasn't Saturday i would go in. But then again, with the morphine and the oxyco~something that Casey is taking, I don't think I have a driver anyway...
Hmmm...
And if Berta doesn't get her danged license back soon, I will have to beat her, pregnant or not.
hehehe
We had to make a bit of a pit stop on the way home yesterday afternoon, as Casey had yet another "episode" of not being coherent, nausea and vomiting. This time with difficulty swallowing.
As this happened after lunch at the Planeview Restaurant in Oshkosh, I called the clinic and they got her in as soon as we could get there. Her heart rate was still over 100- As it had been down at Froedtert as well. And she sat slumped over in a wheelchair as she was examined... (Sorry, that invisible jackass that kicked me in the middle of the spine really did a number on me, so there was no hope that I would carry her in)...
This time, it was blamed on her meds...
Maybe. Maybe not.
Let's see... We have meds, pain, anxiety, etc etc etc...
Hmm?
(Just curious to what they will blame her next "episode" on is all).
And no, she is not allergic to a pancake!
She is still alseep for now. And she SO needs that sleep; as well as the bit of escape it provides for her.
I need to get outside and get the big garage open. It is sunny and breezy today, a good time to get out there and get busy for the sale.
May you all have a beautiful weekend!
I am going to try because by tomorrow night I hear it may be snowing...
>sigh<
Love to all.
XOXO
Me
