Good Morning All; (barely 'morning', but still is)!

Ford? Chevrolet? GMC? Is there an old vintage pickup truck in your dreams?

Sitting in a 'theme' restaurant last week, for a bite of breakfast after one of CaseyAnne's doctor appointments, Master Gabriel has already spoken to his preference in cars... er, pickup trucks...

.

.

stolen from HERE >CLICK< (The picture, not the truck)! hehehe

.

.

As we ate, and as the child filled up, he began to check out his surroundings. Spying one of those old antiqued pictures; he LOUDLY exclaims 'truck' !! ...(as only a 22~month~old CAN say it)...

Casey, a bit red~faced, says "T-T-T-T-T-r-uck"...

He repeats it back to her, clear as a bell.

Then KC very sweetly says "Chevrolet."... "Can Gabriel say Chevrolet?"

He looks at her, looks at the picture again; pointing, and very clearly says "Ca~Ca!"

HEHEHE!!!! (And yes, everyone within earshot laughed)!

.

.

But back home, the tomatoes and squash are being harvested by the wagon-load here.

.

.

Should you want any of these, you will have to go to Chicago!
That's where these fields are ending up anyway.

.

.

Master Gabriel didn't like the loud and busy "tratter" very much...
(And he didn't like Punkie barking quite angrily at the workers who might have strayed out of the field either)...
.
(I say, "Good doggie")! hehehe

.

.

He was also quite miffed at the "Deaf FWY" that had remained in Milly water pan...

.

.

.

.
But he LOVES his bed, and watching out the window at the workers too!
Even Miss Punk has to keep an eye on him.
(He does escape from naptime every now and then).
Oh, to let you know, that room really is less purple than what is showing up in this picture!

.

.

And then it was snacktime... hehehe

.

.

Miss Milly gets her corncob...
.
.
.
Master Gabriel gets his "cobba" too...
.
.
.
And Miss Punk had to wait patiently, playing with the husks...
.
.
In a flash, all of that calm and quiet serenity changed...
.
.
Milly finished her cob, and went "in search of" another...
Finding Gabriels, it was stolen in a NY Minute.
Punk seeing all of this, got up and fought her mama for it.
.
.
While Gabriel had to watch...
(Good thing it was almost gone, or there would have been a small child in there too)!

.

Time for BOTH dogs to go cool down a while...

They have been exceedingly sassy together, and toward one another. This is UNacceptable, (and even more~so when I have grandbabies here)...
I actually put Miss Punks training collar back on yesterday.
(She was NOT happy about it; but boy did she behave well after it was on too)!

Life.

...Yeah, it's kinda like that...

...Even for the dogs...

Back to the mid-upper 80's today; and have to run to UWGB with Casey to check her schedules and all else so she can start back to school next week. My head is MUCH tamer than it was 2 days ago, (it's just the dogs and the baby that aren't)! hehehe

Hope you ALL have a "wunnaful" Wednesday!

XOXO
Anne

"Ketch"ing Up!

Good Tuesday Morning!

Am hoping this finds y'all happy and healthy!

I am sure you are wondering about Casey~Face, and about Baby Mariahs Benefit too. I promise to get you current and UNwondering shortly...

I have been awake for hours already... Wakened by that all too familiar nauseated feeling, and my head STILL freakin' hurts. Nasty, that. Oh well. Add a head/chest cold... and one of those shattering sneezes every now and then. Methinks i am ready for some chicken soup.

Had an 'odd' day with Master Gabriel yesterday. By odd I mean that I never even got dressed out of my sweats, and Gabriel got dressed TWICE! Oh, he can be so funny, such a handful, such a little pistol, and yet can be the most understanding young man too. He played ever so quietly, knowing that grandma didn't feel too good... (I think it helps that Berta gets these nasty headaches too). *Sorry, Berta.

Of course, Gabriel and The Punkster are best buds.

.

.

He gives her LOTS of kisses; (and gets lots in return)!
But do notice how Punkies feet are very carefully tucked out of his way...
Those shoes HURT, should they accidentally step on a paw or two!

.

.

WAY cool! And just as good as gold...
I do not ever have a problem with him listening either;
(well, til Mama gets here to pick him up anyway)!

.

.

.

Mariah's benefit...

CaseyAnne, Derek and Myself went as it began, and already there were 100's of people! Was so happy to see that. It was rainy all day, and I don't know if they even held the bike run. Doubt it. Too dangerous with the wet, slippery roads and all.

The first person I spoke with was Miss Micki herself. I had looked right past her too. (Sorry Mrs.). What a saint she is to be keeping up with everything... She was looking only a little bit tired, but so happy that this day had finally arrived. I could see the anticipation in her eyes, looking forward to seeing everyone, and that all of her efforts to this end seemed to be going quite well too! Her husband Mike making all of the rounds too, to welcome everyone, and to thank them for coming. These two kids are just wonderful! (I should probably not say 'kids'; but like my own, they will always be just that in my heart). Mike is 33, Micki is maybe a year younger. All grown up now, and with a wonderful little family!!!

.

.

Derek bought Casey a "rose"...
(Derek also won a TON of stuff)! ...Lucky dog...
.
.
.
.
This is Judy! (We too, have been best of friends, since 4th Grade)!
.
.
.
.
.
And now, the STAR of The Day!!!!

.

.

Isn't Miss Mariah just as CUTE as a bugs ear?
Laurie with Mariah, My Godson Sean, (and me too)...
Baby Mariah is just a living doll!!!

.

.

Sean is in the Army, stationed in Kentucky for now; and I was SO happy to see him! Wasn't too sure if he could fly home or not. He is engaged to a local gal, and will be getting married in February. I am ever SO proud of him!

*I didn't receive one of his last emails either. (That was back when my email and bulk mail was all screwed up). Am still wondering if Unca BoBBie had written anything those last few days; sadly, it is one of those things I shall never know.

Miss Eleanor, (Unca BoBBies only sister), called here on Sunday evening. We chatted for a long time. She misses him something awful, (as do I). She has the daunting task of cleaning out his home, and drives down every week for a few days to get this done. I feel so bad for her, but she is hanging in there too. Hard for everyone.

She asked about CaseyAnne... And I filled her in on all of the required biopsies now. Casey has yet another raging UTI, and they are looking into the possibility of Crohns Disease. The biopsies, and the results from all those biopsies will probably take us back down to Froedtert Hospital at least twice/thrice more.

I thank you all once more for your amazing support for Mariahs Benefit, (and for putting up with me too)! hehehe

And for now, I do believe it is "shower" time!

Hope you are all having a grand week!

XOXO
Anne

"I Believe" ~Still~

Good Morning All;

There are many newcomers to my pages that may not have read this, to know these things about me; or to really think about these things from my heart.
I am only me. (But I am a pretty great "me" too). hehehe

Though I have added a comment or two within, the beliefs I hold dear remain the very same now, as then. (Yeah, I am kind of boring that way).

As stated, please keep in mind that you need not agree with me on it all. I have a tendency to celebrate our differences, and not whine about them...

And yeah, I really AM the person I have written about below... (kinda boring that way too)!

Here goes...

.

"I BELIEVE"....
.

Good Morning to all;

...Before you push that button to ask to add me as a friend, there are a few things you need to know about me...

*Should you still want to be my friend at the end of this, please feel free to send me an invitation.
I cannot promise to be able to correspond, but I do promise to try.

I am finding it very hard to be keeping up with everyone, and apologize for this- Yet I do wish to be thanking everyone that has asked to be added as my friend too.

I have denied but a few people- on the grounds that I will never add an empty/closed page, or one without a photo; save for my personal friends and relatives. I am not the subject of anyone's fantasies (save for my own)- Nor do I wish to be added to be gawked at, or laughed at. I do not think I am that kind of "gods gift" or anything. I am not that kind of person.

I am not afraid to call a spade a spade. I believe this ability to be a positive thing- (although the situations I have lived through to be able to do this were not always thus)...

I do not care for nudity on my site or yours- .I will not be having a naked friend on my site- .I do not believe that to be necessary for friendship. Please keep your nudity in your clothes.

I am Indian, (Native American). Proud.

I am Irish too.

..

I am hoping that you will know me as kind, compassionate, caring; (and halfway creative ~most times anyway)-

I have many positive energies- as well as a few negative ones- (we all possess those and work on them daily).

.

In the course of my life, I have been someones daughter, I have been someones friend, someones sister, and someones enemy.

.

I am someones mother.

I am someones grandmother.

I am someones heart. (Just that I don't yet know who that is)...

Yet even with all of this, I am always and forever a woman.

I am active, though not as active as I was after having fractured my back- (in too many places).

I am not afraid to sweat or to get my hands dirty- (although I wish never to get my name dirty).

I love and respect animals, (and yes, I abhor spiders).

I can run hot, cold, ---and every conceivable degree inbetween--- (I reserve my hottest for the most appropriate times-, and know when to be absolutely cold also).

I do NOT tolerate immorality.

I do NOT tolerate drunks, druggies, liars, thieves, or cheats.

I do NOT tolerate gossips for the sake of 'malicious' gossip alone. Although I have been known to gossip myself on occasion.

I do NOT abide suffering or pain; especially that kind brought on by someone who is supposed to love you with all their being- heart and soul. Nor whether it is physical, mental, psychological, (or even just imagined).

.
Simply put-
Pain is pain. ..
..
Suffering is suffering.

..

I have panic and anxiety attacks- sometimes fierce in their intensity- but yes, I have lived through them all, (duh?)- and I am *still* learning how to help myself through them.

I am in awe of thunderstorms, and reserve my utmost respect for the forces of Mother Nature; whether she is spews forth in in Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter.

I do not like to be too cold- or too hot.

I enjoy beauty- and all the wonders of nature- (except for those damnable spiders).

I really do enjoy mowing the lawns- I can be almost hypnotized when mowing, and my thought world can go anywhere. As in the shower, I sing while I cut.

I do not like to shovel snow, (but appreciate the added exercise it affords me in the dead of winter; as a few more calories bite the dust).

I am a Christian-

I believe in the Bible; although I do not practice reading it each day.

I believe too, that the ONLY words actually written by the hand of God are "The 10 Commandments".
I try to live by them.

I am neither fanatic, nor judge. You live your life. I live mine. (Although I do have a personal issue with those that do not believe that there is someone, something, greater than ourselves).

I believe in the Afterlife.

I believe in Heaven.

I believe in Spirits.

I believe I have been here before, and that I will be back again- (especially if I don't get it right this time).

I believe our lives on Earth might be Hell itself; or at the very least, a purgatory of sorts.

I do NOT believe in the devil, or whatever you choose to call him/it. Although I do believe that there are some very dark spirits and entities living amongst, and near, to us all.

I believe in Angels- of every phylum.

I believe I have chosen this path long before I was even conceived.

I believe in karma.

I believe there are good, bad, and downright ugly people in this world.
I believe because I know a few of them.
(I believe because I truly love a few of them too).

I believe in honesty; and in friendship.

I believe there is an innate and basic goodness in almost everyone.

I believe that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I believe that dogs and little children are the very best judges of character and integrity. I further believe that these same creatures clearly, and absolutely, see and understand things that I do not.

I believe that there is nothing that is absolutely black or white in this world;
- except for, well, black and white.

And I believe I should have said that first...

Have a good one.

XOXO
Anna~Anna

Jiggety~Jig~Jig

Good Saturday Morning to all!

I am sorry to have been so impossible this past week. (I have been known to be worse)! hehehe But we are home for now.

Casey must return to Froedtert Hospital at the end of the month for some biopsies. We shall worry when/IF we have to, so please do not be thinking anything negative. We are not.

The photo above is of Lake Butte des Mortes, near to Oshkosh. The traffic being horrendous as we near the end of the summer. And I think everyone and their brother is heading up north. (At least they sure were yesterday afternoon)! And so, the traffic was very slow. But it gave Casey the opportunity to snap a picture of all the lilypads in bloom. It was SO pretty!

Pulling over at a rest stop, letting Miss Punk out to do her 'thing', we met up with the nicest lady. From Racine, and her hubby was in the car taking a nap. Her Bailey looked exactly like a few of Punks brothers and sisters...

.

.

A few WHIFF~and~SNIFFs and they were fast friends!
(I loved the reflection in my bumper of the two dogs)...

.

.

.

And here we were almost ready to leave; in fact, we were pulling out when we spied that dog. Casey and Punk had taken their little break out by some cattails...

..

.

Sheesh! They both look SO happy!!!
(Probably because THEY weren't driving)! hehehe

.

.

Miss Punk even found an old log to chew on for a bit!
The lawnmower dude isn't going to like that she pulled it up either!

.

.

.

And then we were back on the road...

Home again, to a very happy Miss Milly too! Kelli had come to care for Milly while we were gone, and had taken Miss Milly and Mr. Miller back to the woods. A nice walk now that it is cooling off a bit.

Kelli stopped by right after we had gotten back home...

.

.

... happy to be seeing Casey in one piece!

.

.

.

Kelli and I took all 3 dogs back to the woods, and down to the river too. On the way back, Punkie had found a squash... a really tiny one (must have fallen from the vine). And played with it until it finished falling apart...

.

.

The dogs are still relatively clean in this pic... and very, very dry too!!!
Sadly, that clean, dry doggie fur didn't last long...

.

.

.

Mr. Miller was either watching fish or crustaceans...
.
.
While Punk and Milly played a bit further upstream...
.
.
We are so far behind on precipitation that there are places in the Suamico River that are just a little trickle at best...
The photo above, taken right below the ridge straight back of the house...
.
.

But we all had a great time... And it sure beat the heck out of battling with idiot drivers that apparently are too illiterate to read... or comprehend what they read.

.

.

NOTES:
Your RIGHT is

 • ...the one you are holding your newspaper in...
 • ...the one you are putting your make~up on with...
 • ...the side towards the passenger in your damned car...
 • ...the side toward the ditch...
DUH?
.
Hmmm... Is it just ME that gets irate over this?
Or does it make YOU mad too?
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

.

Oh well...

And of course with the Motorcycle run scheduled for tomorrow it is supposed to rain for Mariahs Benefit. YOKES! ~hehehe~

But IN-side the Alehouse will be nice and warm and dry. So no problems there! Here is what I have found on one of the TV stations info page...

Benefit Motorcycle run starts at the Suamico Ale House

Registration 9:00am-10:00am $20.00 per person or $30.00 per bike includes free admission to benefit...

So it will be a fun day. I see that the local Sts Edward and Isidore Church Picnic is also tomorrow. Maybe if they all get rained out they will come to the babys benefit!?! Hope so!

Love to all! Have a grand weekend!!!

Please...

Good Morning All;

Gee, would you believe that we are down in Milwaukee? No big surprise there... Spent over 7 hours at the ER at Froedtert, and all they did was treat her pain. (Not that it didn't need treating, just that we need answers)! I am waiting for her to wake up so we can get hold of her surgeon... DAMN hey?

I do not know what else to do...

So-o-o-o-o-o-o...

...Yesterday I sent a note to ALL of my friends in my own 360~World.

I have received but one response. Thank You JEN. CLICK HERE

Maybe you will copy/paste it for a note/blog of your own?

Please?

Special request for you in my newest blog...

Hi All

We sent b~day cards out to the kid in UK/Canada that wanted the world record for birthday cards...

I am hoping you will take a moment to "Blast" Mariahs Benefit. (blog entitled "Mariah, Casey, Gabriel and The Pups")

Won't you please help this baby, and her family, out a bit? It only takes a moment to do this and forward it on.

Mariahs grandmother (Laurie), and I go back to 7th grade and have been close friends throughout our lives. Her son Mike is Mariahs daddy.

Mike and Mickey have 2 daughters, Morgan and Mariah. These two little angels came to them after years of doctoring to even HAVE a baby in the 1st place.

I am trying to get word of her benefit out worldwide.
Perhaps your friends will "blast" it as well if you forward this note on to them?

Her benefit is Sunday. 8/19/07.

Do not worry about anything that would arrive late as there will be plenty medical bills to cover now AND later...

I am hoping that you can do this. Or even send it to anyone in your regular email list too...

Love to all,

XOXO
Anne

Are we immune to the problems of others?

Of babies?

Or do we simply not care?

And yes, I do know that there are a handful of you that simply can~NOT afford to send anything... That is OK, but maybe could we just let the whole world know on your pages, or in your own blog/blast/regular emails?
It doesn't cost a penny to do that...

I thank you in advance for ALL of your efforts on baby Mariahs behalf.

God Bless.

CHALLENGE!!! (at the bottom)!

Good Morning to all;

I cannot believe I have already been up for hours... Surfing, reading; and once again trying to catch up. (Emphasis on the three letters "try"). Par for the course here.

Seems as though our hot and muggies are over. And hopefully not for just now either. And yes, I did have to mow a bit of lawn too. Under the apple trees (so it will be easier to get the deer fed over in Little Suamico).

I brought Master Gabriel out with me, planted him on the porch steps and told him to stay there. Seems as though Miss Milly and The Punk also felt the need to stay with him...

.

.

Cnv0498
Every time I reached down in the bottle holder on the rider to fetch the camera, Gabriel would start to laugh and laugh.
I could not hear him over the mower, but could just imagine the squeals that came out.

.

.

Cnv0502
Now who said that yardwork couldn't be done when you have little ones???
Like Mama would say, "Difficult, but NOT impossible."
They ALL remained there, safely, until I was done.

.

.

.

After a HUGE lunch, we had gone outside... (I swear that little Gabriel can eat enough to put a grown man to shame). And that is when I had cut the front yards. And after I was finished, we all took a little walk over to the garden... Not too much to be had, ('cept maybe a little dessert)?

.

.

.

Cnv0509
A cob of corn, right off the stalk! Mmmm....

.

.

A short walk back toward the garden to check on Miss Millys progress with her own cob... (Oh she just LOVES this treat)!

.

.

Cnv0510
She was trying to get the little hulls out of her teeth!

.

.

.

Coming back to the front yard to check on Gabriel, I see that Miss Punk had gotten a wee bit closer...

.

.

Cnv0504
hehehe
You HAVE got to give her credit for TRYING anyway!
*I only give Punkie the top ends of the cob... (Corn being a known laxative and all; I do not care to be washing kernels off my floors/carpets).

.

.

Later again now, it was time for the master to be giving his lesson of the day. (Punk and her mother were very good students and listened to his every word)...

.

.

Cnv0503
"See Girls, if you look UP, that is where the apples are!"
(Well, I am SURE that's what he was saying anyway)...

.

.

Now for Casey news... Jenny Mella came last night to visit. I think they maybe watched a movie or two after I had gone to bed. Casey has pain at times that goes anywhere from a 5 to a 10; seemingly in a millisecond. She is getting through it, but I do have my doubts as to whether she will 'wait' til next week to get down to Froedtert too... We will go anytime she says it is time.

I want to thank you for all of your kindnesses prayers and support, not only for CaseyAnne, but for Miss Mariah too. Again, there aren't enough words to convey my appreciation for all of you that have written and or sent cards and notes to them both!

Love to all! ...

Have a "wunnaful" Wednesday!!!

XOXO
Anne

What's On YOUR Shirt?

Good Morning All;

I just had to ask about your shirts... I am thinking too that these are already a bit retro, but I wore mine LOTS at one point; at least once a week! hehehe

"Aim it. Fire it. Admire it."

I shot league darts for almost 15 years before my hand/fingers betrayed my aim. (And we were GOOD too)! That, and lots of fun as we got together every week back then. I miss it. Years before that, I shot in mens league. Masters. (Yes, I said "mens")... That too was tons of fun. Oh enough of this. I only wanted to immortalize my shirt before it is turned into a scrub rag, or a cut~off work shirt of sorts.

Here's the picture from yesterday, in daylight

.

.

Cnv0485
Ma and Dads headstones, along with Grandpa and Grandma's to the far left.

.

There is a shed around where that 'flame' appeared to be in yesterday photo. A caretakers sort of a shed. But no light source either. Go figure...

Such a busy day yesterday. And of course to begin with Caseys doctor appointment. Originally she was to have had a CAT Scan here in town; but after speaking with Froedtert, she will be having the pancreas scan down there.

*To be of note too is that they could not get her seen any earlier than next week. Her regular doctor called here late yesterday afternoon and said the next time she is in that awful pain to bring her directly to the Emergency Room down at Froedtert.

She is still receiving (giving herself) the Octreotide injections 3 x day. The doctor has now given her a script for compazine for her nausea/vomiting. Hopefully once her system adjusts to it, this part of the problem can be relieved a bit... Yes, even drinking water, in small sips, causes her pain.

****I have a problem with someone who is to love her telling her to get used to it (the pain). To put up with it. A "grin and bear it" mentality that would work (maybe) if this wasn't friggin' pancreatitis!

Duh?

What the heck do people NOT get about this all? Happy at least that her doctor is doing everything he possibly can for her. I am VERY mad about this, and somebody had better realize how damned dangerous this is to have going on inside of her body??? ...

After all that running around, we came back here... A message from the vets office reminding me that Miss Punk was overdue for her Lymes Disease booster shot. We brought her straight in, and that is done with til next June... As are all her shots, tests etc. She still gets pretty miffed when we leave home without her. She has gotten over her own travel sickness and LOVES to go for rides now.

...*Knock on Wood*

Knock. Knock. Knock.

Coming back home, Master Gabriel figured if he crawled up the opposite side of the old Simplicity that we couldn't see him.

.

.

Cnv0490
Oops... Caught AGAIN! hehehe

.

.

But he at least got a short nap in later, waking completely refreshed!

.

.

Cnv0496
And just LOVES his apple juice!

.

.

.

Suzy Q and her hubby came and got my deer apples. About 2 bushels. I also sent along a few cukes that were threatening to become Slim Jims out in the garden. They cleaned up the pear trees too! Yay. I will get out there early enough and mow that part of the lawn real close to the ground. I am just so happy that they come and get them.

I'd better close for today and get busy before my little man gets here... I believe I have bored you long enough!

Have a grand Tuesday!!!
