Punk yesterday.
Just as the sun was breaking...

.

Good Morning Everyone!

Yes, my previous blog is still open for your ideas, (and of course for a whole lot of fun too)! hehehe
As I mentioned in my comments back at you, I am leaning toward Ask~Anna~(almost)~Anything!
So go dust off your thinking caps!

Got my backside outside early yesterday to get the upper hand on the snow. Not too much, maybe only 3 or 4 inches. Just enough to mess up the yard, and the roads. I saw only one lone snowplow go through while I was out there, heading toward Suamico. Traffic was barely crawling along either way; and I noticed that the more daylight there is, the more bold they all become. Idiots.

It began to snow HUGE flakes!

.

.

Note the shadow caused by that one snowflake on Punks side!

.

.

Mama Milly was more than content to crawl back into the relative warmth of her insulated, cedar~lined doghouse. But Punk had to go "in search of"... Not too sure what she would find, but not for lack of trying either.

.

.

She believes those gophers might be back?

.

.

And always hears the camera, even though I have silenced it!

.

.

Everything seemed to be part of this Winter~Wonderland too. Hardly any wind, and everything just so very decorated...

.

.

Cnv1565........Cnv1566
From the old shed........... To the Willow Tree!

(The shed roof even looks good with the snow on it)!

.
.
Cnv1567.........Cnv1555
From DeeAnne's Thistle....To the Weigelia, sp, (never mind), "BUSH"
.
.
And it was high time to get the Cub Cadet out, and make the yard a bit safer!

.

And it had no problem firing right up and moving all the snow either!

.

.

I had to laugh though as I finished off the end of the main driveway. .

.

My fire number was completely covered too!

.

.

And "someone" had put a brand new tree in the front yard!
.
.

We should have left the bulbs on it too, don't you think!

.

.

Judging by the paw prints from the rabbits feet, they'd been out playing in it too!

.

It took me about 2 hours, but I actually had fun.
('Til I got off the darned little tractor anyway).
But only my back was hurting; and yes, it will get better shortly.
My back not even being the worst of it yesterday. The damned migraine that snuck up on me was. Still, the Maxalt I took for it absolutely did its job! I took a bit of a nap, and when I woke up, it was all gone! (Oh, I do love it when it works as it should).

Besides, I was in no mood to be feeling crappy for today either...

Not wanting to be sick for a Packer Game!
No way!

.

There was a >Packer Pep Rally< last night; and even a few Seattle fans were in attendance... And, Packers fans from as far away as Alaska too!!!
That article aptly entitled, "Bring on the Seahawks"

I came across a little page with so many links it will take me til The 4th of July to get through them all!

(Especially when one has a tendency to click on the links that they have within them too)!
>Here< is that link if anyone wants to be "in the know" for todays game!
Get your Packer jerseys and sweatshirts on kids! Here we go!

Punk does hate the games... More specifically she hates the tourettes affectations that seem to present themselves as the game unfolds. But it has always been thus, so maybe I shall have to find her some doggie earplugs! hehehe

I hope you are all having a WUNNAFUL weekend!

XOXO
Anne

I Need Your Help!

Good Morning!

FIRST OF ALL, EVEN THOUGH I TRANSFERRED ALL OF MY ENTRIES HERE, THE NUMBERS DO NOT ADD UP TO WHAT 360 CLAIMS. Since I began there, and all of my blogs have been restored, I am using their numbers to claim # 500...
This then, is my 497th blog entry.
And life goes on! ~and on and on and...
Looking through my tag cloud here, I have noticed everything from the mousies, to Sidnaw, Michigan, to dogs and cats, life, death, family, my stupid lawnmower, (and more than a few cans of worms), etc...

I am perplexed, and more than a bit in awe of each of you too.
Because after all is said and done, it is my friends and family that have faithfully encouraged me almost every step of the way for these past two years.

I had written a note to SissyKrissiePoo earlier today. In that note, I had written how true it is that we really don't miss what we have until it is gone.
Yahoo made me realize how very much I have come to rely upon my little blog each day for my little corner of life.

Did I never truly know how very important your daily interactions really were, until you were gone?
I think I did, and just kind of lived in fear of December 17th when Yahoo closed. That fear, was always in the back of my mind. The what~if of it all.
But I am back now... hehehe

SO
, what do you think I should write about to make #500 a memorable blog for all?
Or...
Shall I just make it "Open~Season on Anna" ~an 'ask me (almost) anything' entry?
Remember my halo though, (I did say"almost")...

Or... ?
You answer that question, and I will say from your lips to my ears! hehehe

Have a 'fandamfabulous' Friday!
Love to all!

XOXO
Anne

A few weeds in the fields...

.

Good Morning All;

What a difference a few days make here...

That last snowfall making it tough to do anything but 'march' (or slide) back to the woods with the pups.
Given the mess I have made of my back, I chose to do the marching, and step over the snow.
(No pain, no gain)?

UGH.

.

.

Miss Punk (left), and her Mama Milly ~back by the woods...
(Miss Punks "Golden" daddy is really showing in her coat now)!

.

.

My little Punk always goes through this awful "I've~lost~my~mama" thing every time we go back there. (And only because she refuses to leave me behind, alone).
By the time we get back there, Mama Milly is long gone.
She has usually gone down by the river, and finds something rank to be rolling in.
And in the meanwhile, Punk pretends to look for her. Knowing our routine, she gives up quickly and comes running to wherever I have gone to.

.

.

.

Then waits for Mama Milly to return...

.

.

Soon Milly is back... and their fun begins!

.

.

Then they BOTH go down to the river...
Punk always waits for Milly to get all the way down before she will go.
(I do not know why)...

.

.

Waiting for her mama to get all the way down.
Maybe she doesn't want to get tripped or to fall?
.
.

But getting back to my title...

There is a saying that if you don't like the weather in Wisconsin, to wait a minute and it'll change.

.

Two days ago, as Punk waits once more...

Contrasted rather sharply by yesterdays photo...

What a difference a few days of rain, and temps in the upper 30's, made!
.
.
.
.
Punk runs down by the now 'open' river...
And I'd taken this picture right before I'd heard the "splash"
(Lasting all of about 4 seconds before bounding right out too)!
.
.

And with that soggy pup came a fast trek home to get her dried off too. Talk about "dashing through the snow."
She has been sleeping on and off ever since we got back here too. (Mostly 'on'). hehehe

Her back must be bothering herself too. She is slow to get up wherever she lies down for the last few days; and am happy I had asked Dr. Spires for some extra of that Rimadyl the last time we were there. I haven't given her any yet, will keep an eye on her.

So between the two of us, gee, aren't we quite a pair?!?

I have just gotten my forecast here.
The subject line reads: "Goodbye sunshine, hello snow". They are forecasting another 1~4" of new snow by tomorrow.
It should also read: "Goodbye 30's, hello winter"

(Guess that "wait a minute and it'll change" must also apply here)!
So does, "Here we go again!"

Hope all is well (and warm), in your little corner of the world!

Love to all!

XOXO
Anne

See blog for fascinating info on this picture...

Good Morning ALL!

Having gone to the fridge for a pick~me~up shot of caffeine, (read: Wild Cherry Pepsi); I found something inside that assaulted my delicate olfactory sense.

The following became obvious to me to me in a heartbeat:
Overnight, as I lay sleeping; something crawled in my refigerator.
"It" has now died.

*From the smell of "it", I believe it might be yet another dead, rotting chupacabra.
(See photo above of one I had taken in the woods 2 years ago)...
.
.
Damn things.
(And here I thought my goat would be safe if I kept him in the fridge).
>sigh<

Time to find the bleach, and scrub.

Have a good one.
Love to all!

POLLY DID IT!!!
.

Good Morning All;

Seems an odd Sunday already... No Green Bay Packers Game. My helmet will just have to wait 'til next weekend!

And that's OK with me; (in that I won't be having to jump up and down today at all).

I hurt my darned back the other day carrying something that would have been better carried by two. Right now, it even hurts to take a deep breath.
This too shall pass. (It always does)...

If you have ever 'thrown' your back out, you know that with this pain comes one heck of a tough time to even fall to sleep...

I went upstairs early, wishing only for the sandman. (Sad, that).
But I did fall asleep before too long.

Then comes the process of trying to remain asleep.
~Telling myself before sleep came NOT to move. (Didn't work too well though).
So inbetween those hours of a waking, painful sleepiness I did try to roll a few times. Big mistake.
I have been up since about 2:40AM.

These waking hours coming only after having been woken up quite fiercely by a thump on my skull.

Not fun.
Certainly not funny either.
And especially no fun when one is startled even more painfully out of sleep.

A bit of background here...
The "thing" pictured at the top of the page is a handheld wooden massager, given to me by Polly some years ago. I call him Arnie, and I keep Arnie on the headboard of my bed when it is not down here rubbing someones back.
Up until last night, keeping it there was never a problem.

A bit MORE background too...
I have a cat. His name is Sputnik.

***This cats sole purpose in life, until last night, was to catch any mowisses that would dare to enter my home; and to pester the dogs at least twice every day.
(Mr. Sputnik gets very high accolades in BOTH of those departments).

Back to last night now...

...As I lay sleeping, (dreamless, but still asleep), of a sudden, something collides directly with the middle back portion of my noggin; hitting it with an obvious catapulted force.
WTH?

This was not a mere 'gee, it fell off the headboard' thing... No, this "thing" was actually thrown at my head with great force.

Simultaneously, I just about jump out of my dang jammies, (definitely out of the bed), and come fully awake; feeling Arnie laying on one of my pillows.
repeat, WTH???

Until last night, Arnie never moved of his own accord...
...(At least I don't think he ever did)...

Time for a bit of light and some eyesight too.
Being that my back was hurting, I could not reach my lamp.

Nor could I even find my glasses!
Clearly, they were NOT where I had left them last night!?!??
(OK, OK,
not so 'clearly' then)!
...And even Miss Punk, lying sound asleep at the foot of the bed, was more than a little confused too.

With great effort, (and a bit more cussing at my head and my back), I find my glasses 4 feet north of where they had been taken off, and 3 feet down.
These too seemingly having been tossed off the nightstand by some godforsaken unknown sweeping force...

Locating them, AND the lightswitch, I finally have eyesight (AND light)! What more would one possibly need at 2:40 in the morning??? And with that light came the discovery that Mr. Damn Sputnik was trying to curl himself up all comfy~like, upon my headboard.
(Nice of you to dust it off for me, Sputty, but no you may NOT sleep there).

And yes, I had to fight the urge to bat that cat off the headboard!!!

.

Cnv1009.jpg......Cnv1297.jpg
Sputty as a 'working' cat........ . Sputty as a pain in the @ss

.

Not being able to fall back to sleep, what to do but to come back here and read. Yes, I have been running around silly on the web here today...

Casey and Greg got here pretty late (um, 'early') ~and with herself in pain all over again. She sleeps right now. Thankfully so.

And I do believe that before the day is done I shall be napping a bit myself.
*Makes mental note to close and lock the cat in bathroom before heading back upstairs at any point...

Have a wunnaful Sunday!

XOXO
Anne

With These Words...

With These Words...
With These Words... magnify

Good Morning Everyone!

I see that I am back!
How cool! (Well, for ME it is)!

Casey has been up/down all night long, once more in obvious pain. Too much for her to manage on her own, and so she has taken a few pills.... Please keep praying!

As for myself; yes, I have pinched myself more than a few times already...
Aside from a few bruises from all that pinching, all is well. And I hope the very same holds true for all of you.

Having received an email from Customer Care two days ago, I feel as though I have been holding my breath ever since.

With these words, my cautious hope sprung:

Hello Anna,

This is a message from Yahoo! Customer Care-Account Services.
My name is Brandlyn. I am contacting you due to your recent post on a Yahoo! blog. This post stated you were having an issue with Yahoo! services.
Your email address has been gathered from the posting and will be used solely to assist you with the problem.
I understand your 360 page was recently deleted. I would like to investigate the cause.
In order to do so I will need a little information from you.

When was your page deleted?
Was everything deleted?
When did you sign on with Prodigy?

Also please feel free to include any further information that you feel better explains the issue.

We apologize for the frustration that this issue has no doubt caused and will do our best to find the cause.

Kindest Regards,
Brandlyn

And I don't even know where they saw my complaint because in truth, I went a little crazy posting my notes all over.

...From any site at Yahoo! that I could connect to, ie: even Rumor Control, links on Yahoo's help pages, (even IF they did not apply to my 'shituation').

...To the Yahoo! 360 Product Blog, (which hasn't been updated since October 24th, but all comments are supposedly read).

...To AT&T. (Do not get me started on these creeps).

~Didn't ALL our problems begin AFTER AT&T merged with Yahoo anyway???
...To MyBlogLog pages where Yodel Anecdotal has found a little corner of the web too. Join My Community at MyBloglog!

...This all, in addition to speaking with TONS of people from both Yahoo! and AT&T; and the vicious cycle they each have of sending me from one place back to the other. (Made more than a bit dizzy by that all too; as I became their daily ping~pong ball).

Not to mention I might have even been a bit ~ahem~ "surly"

.
I DO believe Miss Beep had promised to call me "The Queen" if I ever found me.
Well, I found me!
Yup Sweetie, I am holding you to that.
(Besides, "Her Royal Highness" sounds a far cry better than 'Snotball' anyway)!
hehehe

.

.

And so, I am thinking that it is high time for me to go fire up the camera again!

Happy Saturday!!!!

Love to all!

XOXO
