Track Marks
. I don't know what varmint left these weird tracks in the snow... . .
Good Morning All.
It is late for me to be posting; and I have been busy getting ready for this next snowstorm. (I think Pete Petoniak called it "Julia" on the news).
I have never been spooked by a silly snowstorm. Not sure what feels different about this one?
Good grief! I have lived through many many snowstorms; certainly ones in excess of the silly 5-10" we are to get this afternoon/evening.
Just unsettled is all. Much to do yet...
Have a wonderful Thursday!
Be warm.
XOXO
Anne
Weird that the tracks are in a line... Sure it was an animal??
ReplyDeleteMaybe your feeling about the snowstorm means that it will be worse than what they are predicting?? I hope not though...
Stay safe and warm!
Love You!
Slurkie
Sweet SlurkieBaby!
ReplyDeleteI am sure it was some kind of animal. or maybe an extraterrestrial)? hehehe
"ET Phone Home!"
I hope your interpretation of this uneasiness is wrong.
So weird I am...
Must fly now.
Be back later!
Love to you too!
XOXO

Pea
it's a child on a pogo stick.
ReplyDeleteIt is lil Menehune marks, he is visiting from Hawaii. Wanted to see what real snow is like. LOL
ReplyDeleteMaybe the menehine won't like and work his magic so it's not so bad!
Looks like a running fox to me. Well, we know it wasn't drunk or high so it would've passed a sobriety test! Lo
ReplyDeleteStrange tracks, I've never seen anything like that before. It doesn't look like anything a four legged creature would make.
ReplyDeleteSnuggle up with Punk and stay warm!
Looks like a rodent to me....
ReplyDeleteI hope the snow is uneventful and passes quickly.
Bird maybe????
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what would make tracks like that....but I'm just hoping its moving away from your house and not toward it.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good night for some soup, a good book, and plenty of blankets!!! Good luck and remember we're suppose to be suffering from Global warming!!! **shrugs**
A rolling rock maybe?! Or a hopping rock?! LOL!
ReplyDeleteSeriously though....maybe a rabbit. A baby rabbit. Bugs Bunny?
I did some research earlier and the tracks kinda look like they could belong to a red or gray fox... Not sure if there are foxes in your area though?
ReplyDeleteHELLO? I said they looked like a running fox's tracks. I wasn't kidding. lol
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteHatches are battened Sweet Pea...
...And my yard is one rolling drift on another on another.
The chupacabra had better be sheltered somewhere.
XOXO
me
ReplyDeleteSweet SD.
Looks must be deceiving... Unless the kid was Tom Thumb...
XOXO

ReplyDeleteSweet OKA;
Menehune is now frozen solid.
Somewhere.
XOXO
Me
PS
Who is Menehune?
Sweetie-
ReplyDeleteThe tracks were no bigger than a dime. I should have shown something to gauge them by.
Maybe here the fox are "Honey I shrunk Renard!"
XOXO

ReplyDeleteSweet BethieBaby;
ReplyDeleteI think "rodent" is getting more to the size of the tracks.
Passes quickly???
I won't see my yard until July!!!!
XOXO
Me
Why would a bird 'walk' all that way?
ReplyDeleteThat's about 25 feet?
Hums "Tennessee BirdWalk"...
Sweet Shari;
ReplyDeleteIt was way behind the barngrade, but it was heading toward the house...
The tracks stopped at the dirt so I don't know where it went from there.
This global warming is blowing all over my land!!!
XOXO
Me
ReplyDeleteSweet PeachieBaby;
Rolling Rock makes me thirsty.
And it would have sunk- The snow (last week) was fluffly.
No baby rabbits at this time of year.
And bigger rabbits leave different tracks.
XOXO
Me
Oops.
ReplyDeleteAnyone know what "fluffly" means???
ReplyDeleteYes, we have many fox around here.
Just no little bitsy ones...
Wolves.
Bear.
etc
etc
etc
(Not many of those last two though... Just a few sightings every now and then...
ReplyDeleteAre there any foxy little varmints around?
Not sure about that!
fluffly = fat? LOL
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteThanks Sweetie-
As soon as I can navigate back there again, I shall bring some bananas and fish.
(Sounds like heartburn city to me)!

I am giggling at this paragraph...
ReplyDelete"Everyone that lives in Hawaii know that the Menehune has magical powers and have created great deeds throughout the Hawaiian Islands. They were no different here on Maui.
These three Menehune's names were Ha`alulu, Eleu and Molowa. They were well known by all the other Menehune living in Hawaii of possessing very unusual powers. Ha`alulu was so named by his kupuna (ancestors) a long time ago because he was always shaking, which is actually what it means, to shake or tremble.
Actually when you think about it, anyone that lives in Haleakala Crater would be Ha`alulu from the cold.
His magic gift was that whenever he would start shaking, he would disappear and no matter where he went, he was invisible."

Too funny!
I am Ha`alulu
XOXO
ReplyDeletehehehe
;-)
And for now, I am going to head upstairs and see if I can get some pics of my yard for y'all...
ReplyDelete(If my windows aren't frozen shut that is).
he is hiding over there in the bushes.
ReplyDeletehang in there spring is coming.
xoxoxo
Pea
Sure, that is how the bunny looked a few minutes ago after I got done petting the heck out of her.
ReplyDeleteHiya Rock,
ReplyDeleteI get those feelings sometimes too.. sometimes it turns out for good reason.. sometimes its just because something is different.. and sometimes its just a false alarm that is messin' wit' my brain!
I think that track is a single toed sloth... ya know sometimes you see them slurking around when you lest expect them. They arent dangerous ya know.. unless of course someone steals their beer...
didnt you pick up some beer cans out in the yard not long ago?????
beepluvsbart.com
Whatever it is, it has short legs and big tummy.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteHere is current...
...HEAVY SNOW HAS DIMINISHED... WHILE THE HEAVY SNOW HAS DIMINISHED...RADAR SHOWS BANDS OF MODERATE SNOW WITH STRONG WINDS WILL CONTINUE OVERNIGHT. AN ADDITIONAL INCH OR TWO IS POSSIBLE OVERNIGHT. NORTHEAST WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH SHIFTING TO THE NORTH WILL CONTINUE TO PRODUCE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW AND CREATE TREACHEROUS DRIVING CONDITIONS.
ReplyDeleteWhere bushes?
ReplyDeleteLiar!
hehehe
ReplyDelete...in my next life I might wanna be a bunny!
;-)
Sweet Beep!
ReplyDeleteThe doom and gloom seems to have passed... But I say that with caution-
It will be completely gone by morning.
Maybe I do have a messy brain. (You will hafta ask JT about that). hehehe
A sloth?
A frozen sloth?
Sloths don't live in Wisconsin, do they? (Like in my backyard)?
Everything in Wisconsin drinks beer.
Or drank beer at one time or another.... It's almost patriotic in this state.
But they should never leave their beer cans in my yard.
Wait. How would a single toed sloth open those cans anyway?

Weird picture, but shows the snow on the window, (before I yanked it open).
ReplyDeleteAnd my window is WHITE!
(As is the snow)...
I have no idea what the reflections are either. My ceiling is flat. (Really).

Picture # 2.
Isn't the yard pretty?
(Keep in mind that the snow really IS white)!

ReplyDeletehehehe
Sweet PeachieBaby!
I do have the most creative friends in the whole world!

Anne...HTML pictures can still be left on my blog comments or in a PM. I turned it off for the guestbook only because it slowed the page down and some distorted it.
ReplyDeleteAnother weird picture for y'all...
ReplyDeletePlease let me know what the heck resides at the bottom of my stairwell...
It's either a floating toilet seat???
Or
A headless thing with her arms outstretched..
~
~
Please let me know?
XOXO
Me
ReplyDeleteNo worries...
It is here. (Above).
You spooking me Ms Flintville. Why would anyone need a floating toilet seat. And where would you keep it. I'll never to get to sleep tonight pondering this.
ReplyDeleteAnne..I have walked around and looked at this for a bit. I see a face. It looks like an old face and they have a straight across smile that crooks up at the corner.Looks almost like they are wearing a hat that sorta hangs down a little. You cant see the top of the hat, just the wide brim around the head.
ReplyDeleteOMG I see the face too! But I don't think it 'goes' with the other 'thing'...
ReplyDeleteWait I see ANOTHER face by the one Peachie is describing... :O
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA!
ReplyDelete(I would have said 'Good Morning' ~but since you didn't sleep)...
XOXO
Me
ReplyDeleteWish I could see what you see.
I am blind.
XOXO
Me
ReplyDeleteAre you making fun of my toilet seat???
ReplyDeleteSweet SlurkieBaby;
I have looked at your picture for about ten minutes- every which way, and see nothing in the background...
My steps, the doorway, and of course the damned toilet seat!?
Blind in both eyes...
XOXO
Me
I see the second one, left diagonally from first, towards the stairwell.
ReplyDeleteWAHhhhhhhhhhhh......
ReplyDeleteI can't even see the first!
XOXO
me
I don't know, but it brought creepy tears to my eyes. The shadow inside part looks like someone kneeling and praying.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeletehehehe
The circle in the toilet seat looks like a carved pumpkin.
The red circle, I see nothing. Sorry.
1/2 blind then?
XOXO
Me
Oh, I don't think they look human, jack-o-lantern is a good description, maybe they are celebrating
ReplyDeleteSweet Stanger;
ReplyDeleteCut it out- (the creepy tears thing). I have to live here!
hehehe Just kidding- I don't really ever get spooked; just at few and far between times.
HOW COME I CANNOT SEE THESE THINGS????
But you must have forgotten about this one from last week or so.
~
~
XOXO
Me
Celebrating what exactly???
ReplyDeleteI can see that I have to post an entire album of my 'odd' photos some day...
XOXO
Me
Do you think the tracks were made by a bird....hopping along? How did you fair with the snow storm?
ReplyDeleteAnne....does this help any to see the person I see. I added some dots to the picture to gently outline it a little. I am still looking at the other location. Can't make anything out of that other spot yet.
ReplyDeleteHere's what I seen and what I thought Peachie seen... I didn't make anything out of the toilet seat other than it might be a body minus the head LOL
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteHOW THE HECK DO YOU KIDS ADD THE CIRCLES AND THE WORDS?????
I use paint.
ReplyDeleteYou can also use HP to add words.
ReplyDeleteWhat's HP?
ReplyDelete(I know, I live under a rock).
ReplyDeleteI have a bunch of paint in the basement...
Hewlett Packard. It's the printer program.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteI have an HP PSC...
Paint was a program that came with Windows on the Dell computer. Many people have it.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeletePrinter
Scanner
Copier
ReplyDeleteBut the scanner is useless...
Any program that you can edit images on, you can draw circles
ReplyDeleteYou must have Photo shop...right?
ReplyDeleteMy HP printer also prints, scans and copies. But you can take a picture and add things to it from the options on HP. I cannot print words on a picture with Paint. Just doodle, dots, color, draw and add things to it.
I use MS Paint or GIMP or Photoshop
ReplyDeleteBack to the picture....do you see anything there yet?
ReplyDeleteNo.
ReplyDeleteI have Image Mixer- Came with my very first digital camera. But I can't add a circle.
And if I can I don't see it...
ReplyDeleteNo photoshop.
Sorry.
Casey has it on hers.
Do you have Paint?
ReplyDeletedo you have Paint? It comes on every puter
ReplyDeleteLOL
ReplyDeleteI think Casey put some kind of photo program on my laptop...
ReplyDeleteBut that's put away already...
Hmmmm...
Maybe it was a gimp
Nothing 'cept for the pumpikin face in the toilet.
ReplyDeleteGIMP rocks!
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one who seen the two faces ABOVE the toilet seat??
Maybe my eyes just don't WANT TO see it???
ReplyDeleteDo I live in denial???
NO!
Did you look at the one I did with the yellow circle? I dotted the outline of the hat....and put a larger dot for each eye and smaller dots for the nose and then a line crooked up on one end for the mouth.
ReplyDeleteIt's weird they are plain as day to me
ReplyDeleteWTH is a "pumpikin"??????????????
ReplyDeleteAnd why is it in the toilet?????
Pumpikin is what I call Kaylee and she isn't in the toilet LMAO
ReplyDeletehehehe
ReplyDeleteThat's the one I thought was a pumpkin...
I think I even see the one that Ohio circled. I see a face that appears to be wearing glasses and they have really short hair combed over to their right.
ReplyDeleteIs that what you see Ohio?
YES!
ReplyDeleteAnd right next to that one is another face
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteDid you two happen to see the farmer in the hat next to the dumpster in my todays blog?
NO! Now I will have to go look
ReplyDeleteIs that your Dad?
ReplyDeleteI didn't notice. Be right back.
ReplyDeleteTodays blog....Wham bam??? or something else?
ReplyDeleteThe picture of the dumpster with snow on top Anne??
ReplyDelete*wonders*
ReplyDeleteI saw the two dumpsters while you were at the post office. Can't make anything out as far as people over there. Do you mean another dumpster somewhere else?
ReplyDeleteI don't see the face that Anne says she sees to the left of my circle LOL...
ReplyDeleteMaybe we are only seeing what 'they' want us to see??
I also saw the dipsy dumpster. The big blue trash can to me, (lol!) and I see some lighter colored lines or impressions there to the right. Can't make anything out of it yet.
ReplyDeleteAnne....sometimes I get up and walk away from the monitor and then step closer a little at a time and the images then will look clearer. That's how I see things.
Well....I will be back later. Ghost Whisperer is about to come on. I'll come back later and look at for that other face.
I seen the lines by the dipsy dumpster too... But wasn't sure if that's what Anne was talkin' about LOL
ReplyDeleteYes. sorry. I was waiting for you two on my other blog...
ReplyDeleteGo back there.
I have dial up and can't follow you all over...
hehehe
XOXO
Me
Ok I be right there ;)

country people who lived out in the sticks until we moved to Town!! LOL
