- Mr Innocence
.
Happy Day, Happy Day
It's time to blog-
Time to blog
about a dog
.
Dogs are trouble
this we know
even though
we love them so.
.
.
.
.
.
The weather has warmed
(what a relief)
The sunlight emboldening
a dog that's a thief
.
.
.
.
As I was out raking
He'd entered the shed
The whole of the dog,
(and not just his head).
.
.
.
.
My back had been turned
so I didn't know
What happens to dogs
When so boldly they go.
.
.
.
.
In search of new toys
in my rummage sale
He'd taken a peek
And he'd spotted a whale.
.
.
.
.
I'd come to the house
to rest for a bit
And spotted this teddy
all covered with spit!
.
.
.
.
"Where did this come from?"
I wondered aloud
But I soon grabbed my camera
when I spied that dog...
.
.
.
.
So silent he was
So bold and carefree
By this time already
he had stolen just three.
.
.
.
.
By the end of the day
there were seals and bats-
Raccoons and Christmas
And a Halloween cat.
.
.
.
.
They were all over my yard
strewn all over the place
(When Kelli retrieved one-
He'd bring more to replace).
.
.
.
.
.
So a word to the wise
is what I have in mind
Tie those dogs up securely
or they might rob you blind.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Love to all.
XOXO

Soooo cute!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the smiles !!
Thers
xoxoxoxo
You are welcome!
ReplyDelete(He's a dang juvenile delinquent)!!!!
LOL, now your yard looks like my fenced front yard....thiefs indeed.....I find shoes, socks, towels, rugs, even an occasional sheet when they can find one, they don't care....I'm convinced they think as long as it fits thru the doggie door, it's fair game to take to the yard . Everyday I go around and pick up my laundry from the yard.....but those many stuffed animals get left in the yard till they decide to bring it back in the doggie door. When its time to mow we'll pick them up and toss the ruined ones, stack the others on the porch, before we know it, they have scattered them again.
ReplyDeleteOMG, I could of swore you were talking about Mimi. A few weeks ago, our neighbor gave us all his daughters stuffed animals. We were all playing outside, so we sat the two 55 gallon trash bags full in the garage. A bit later, we start finding the yard littered with stuffed animals. LOL Dawgs will be Dawgs
ReplyDeleteLaughing out loud for sure :)
ReplyDeleteI know the Clue!
It was Mr Miller in the shed with a whale, a Teddy, a dog, a seal and a bat,
Raccoons, Christmas...
And a Halloween cat.
What a fun game!!!
LOL! Either he was trying to free them from the garage to enjoy the wonderful spring weather, or there's a little bit of larceny in Mr. Miller's heart! I know from experience that you have to be careful of males who look so sweet and innocent.
ReplyDeleteIn the second picture it looks like Punk is saying "Seen Mr. Miller? No. I haven't seen him anywhere!"
That last picture is adorable!
snicker.
ReplyDeleteThe Mr Miller is SO very bold!
Awww...you have put a smile on my face today! The poem and pictures of Mr. Miller has captured my heart! Thank You! :)
ReplyDeletelmao that made me laugh, thank you,
ReplyDeleteToo cute! He just wanted a toy to play with..and Punk doesnt like to share..hehe
ReplyDeleteWhat a novel way to share delinquency. Thank you for the smiles. (Mr Miller is a very handsome young man, BTW)
ReplyDeleteROFLMAO!
ReplyDeleteYou know why he did it?? Punk told him there were toys in the garage! hehehe
Sweet Shari!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA- I can't imagine finding my undies in the yard!
I am so glad that "I" am the doggie door!
Punk isn't bad about this at all.
Though Miss Mama Milly was horrid at stealing and hiding and hoarding things in her house. (I have not yet gone in there to see what I might find).
I walked the back yard before I mowed there today. and still had to get off the mower. Twice.
Bones and toys.
Of the dog variety.

Very nice Anne. Not only a pest with the camera, but a poet also. Is this where you're little girls it from?
ReplyDeleteSweet OKA;
ReplyDeleteGod bless Mimi's heart!
Too funny! And you should have posted the pictures!
Miller just so calmly and quietly stole the dummies and set them about the yard, putting his favorites by the crab apple tree I guess.
XOXO

ReplyDeleteHoly crap- Weatherman says a storm is coming- Nothing too bad but I must go out and close all the doors etc etc etc
Be right back.
*waits*
ReplyDeletehehehe :P
LOL!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's such a cute poem!!! You're so darn creative! Now I know where I get it from....
I am a stuffed animal lover as well, but mine are all collected in a corner in our bedroom displayed neatly by size and type... Except Pinkie, my one and only first teddy (a pink bear with a squeak in his leg, that doesn't squeak like it should anymore...) from 1980 (yes, older than I am...)... He is on the floor in the living room after I unpacked him from our trip to Minnesota... I may be 22 but he is my good luck charm and it seems it worked!!
I laughed when I got out of the car to see all those stuffed animals all over the place!! I think that I might've hit one by the crabapple tree when Punkie and I returned from town... There was no avoiding it, they were EVERYWHERE!!! Hee hee hee...
Glad Mr. Miller could keep busy for a while and not get into TOO much trouble... Although I'm sure you had quite the mess by the time Kelli brought him home!!
Cute, very very cute!!!
Love you Much Much!
~CaseyAnne
OH! I forgot to tell you that my FAVORITE part was that last picture!!! It's GREAT!!!
ReplyDeletehehehe
ReplyDeleteSorry bout that...
I'm Back!
ReplyDeleteahem...
ReplyDeleteclears throat...
ReplyDeleteOoh Sweet RT!
That is too funny!
But Mr. Miller is very compassionate so it might even be true.
(But then why did he leave them all over)?
hmmm...
I am hysterical over your comparison of those sweet and innocent males!
... still laughing...

ReplyDeletePunk is quite an Indian Giver (I can too say that)!

She will share, but only for about 3 and a half seconds.
Will have to put up a childs gate. Do you think they make them in about 8' widths?

Sweet Cille!
ReplyDeleteFirst to thank you for stopping in and for leaving a comment too!
I should have entitled this one "SHARING DELINQUENCY"
Miller is real cute-
Due to his considerable girth, (which we are working on), Doc Spires (our vet) calls him "The Coffee Table"
XOXO
Me
hehehe
ReplyDeleteSweet SlurkieBaby!
Isn't it funny that Miss Punk won't go in that garage unless I am there?!
But you are right. It was a collaborative effort (which actually began last Fall).
Will have to blog about that at a later date.
XOXO
Me
ReplyDeleteTakes one to know one Mr KhoolMan!
XOXO

OMG BabyGirl;
ReplyDeleteIt was YOU that killed the chicken!
Say extra prayers tonight for breaking that commandment.
Miller was testing you by building an obstacle course...
By your own admission, you failed.
hehehe
Now as far as the mess went, Miss Kelli would pick up the dummies- And Mr. Miller would just go find more.
We laughed so much! Punk tried to play too, but just couldn't bring herself to do that- save for one little teddy bear dog.
Love YOU too.
Forevermorelonger.
XOXO
Mama D.

ReplyDeleteThat's George.

Love it. And truly a smile maker. The rhymes and picture just perfect. The line about finding spit is hillarious. I can so understand that statement. Have a great weekend.
