Living under a rock... What's going on with daylight savings time? Why does my computer think it began already? What time will it be next week at this time??? Hmmm, and hehehe ~I am SO "cornf00sed" now. HELP!?!
XOXO, Me
Huh?? Has it started already?? I forgot that I will be the one changing all the clocks that I barely look at these days. But so far, my computer and the clocks here in this room is the same. So, I guess I'm ok.
so next week, your computer will be right. It's prolly your outdated computer software? I remember last year, many banks (and other businesses with outdoor digital clocks) had the time posted by the old schedule...their computer programs only recognized the old laws.
Daylight savings time (DST) started a week late this year, so it will end a week later too. There are many who would like to abolish DST for ecological reasons - lower power usage during the summer months. But there are still a lot of people, like farmers, who depend on those few extra hours of sun each day through the summer months to get by. In order to keep everyone happy a compromise was made and it was decided that DST would start later.
Don't we 'fall back' next weekend?? I haven't seen anything on the news to remind me to set my clock back this weekend...
ReplyDeleteWAIT
ReplyDeleteJust looked at the calendar... Daylight savings time ends November 8th... Damn, that's a ways off...

ReplyDeleteThey should all agree to fall back 1/2 an hour then and leave it alone. hehehe
